“Archpriest, reports said that the Summoned Hero Victoria left the city! What should we do?!” Maria said as she read a file in her hand towards Genesis.
“I am in no mood for such trifling matter. If I say myself, that hero is nothing more than liability than usefulness, at least, for me.” Genesis said as she lay down on her bed. “Maria, has my medicine arrived yet?” she added.
“I am sorry to say but it will be delayed for another ten minutes.” Maria said as she looks down. “In the first place Archpriest, you were not supposed to use that weapon with an exception of dire situations!” Maria scolded Genesis.
“I shall let your arrogance pass for now as the intention behind it isn’t evil, however, Maria, you don’t have to authority to raise your voice towards me.” Genesis exclaimed as she looks at Maria with sharp eyes.
“Archpriest, that weapon drains your health…why does such condition exist? Isn’t that the reason why, even though you have live double or even triple of my age, you haven’t grown properly?” Maria queried Genesis with worried face.
“Stop pestering me, Maria. I have a goal to achieve and that’s why I am being patience for Falikh’s decision. Eventually, when he realizes it, he will come back to me.” Genesis said as she stares outside the window.
“I still don’t get why, of all, people, you chose your own son? Can’t you just remove anyone’s magic nodes inside their body and then just replace it with a Divine Lining?” Maria asked another question that beckons another glare from Genesis.
“Not a word anymore, Maria. Such delicate topic is not to be spoken of!” Genesis angrily snarls at Maria who jolted momentarily from her place.
“Yes Archpriest, I am sorry.” Maria said as she humbly bows down to Genesis.
As Maria apologizes, she exits the room with another curtsy before closing the door. Even in the middle of the day, the coldness didn’t falter to bring a little chill to Genesis room, however, it is installed with a rune that keeps the room at fine temperature.
Slowly, Genesis eyes closed and not for long, she drifted to a calm slumber.
The door tilted slightly and Maria peeks inside. Confirming that Genesis already fell asleep, Maria let herself in to the room with stealthy strides. She walks toward Genesis and stopped in front of the bed where she lays.
Her right hand reaches insider the pocket of her apron and from there, she drew a knife of magnificent design. It is a knife that spells disaster as it has sinister glimmers to it with the blade dyed in black and red.
Maria’s bashful and gentle eyes changes to one that completely devoid of light and cold one. She raises the dagger and aims at the sleeping Genesis. However, she never swings down the dagger…
“A little more…a little bit further…I have to control myself…” She muttered under her breath as she sheathed the dagger back and walks away from Genesis.

Meanwhile, back to our merry friends!
“Aieeyaa…what a tight spot I am in right now, ahahaha!” Victoria said while laughing it off.
Currently, Ries and Lala have their swords pointed at Victoria’s neck point blank while Ivy readied the Gauntlet of Icarus in her hand. Aspara has conjured dozens of sealing chains around Victoria which will lock her movements if she acts hostile towards them.
“Everyone calm down. There is no actual need for such actions.” Reysha calmly said as she watches the brutal spectacle of four versus one. “Destroying this place is a great loss, I’ll admit that and Teth hasn’t even served his cooking yet.” She thought.
“I can’t do that Miss Reysha, this woman is dangerous!” Ivy shouted as she glares at Victoria with overflowing anger.
“Einhart, you couldn’t possibly thinking that since she is a hero, she is a goody two shoes?!” Aspara exclaimed angrily.
“Not exactly…I know this girl since she was young. If I were to describe this granddaughter of mine…she is…an exact replica of Camille…” Reysha inwardly thought as she massages her temple as memories of Victoria-Camille tandem flooded her mind.
“Now, now, don’t be so harsh to her, right Victoria?” Falikh said with a smile as he approaches Victoria.
“Granny, is that really you? Just to be sure, what is the correct answer when you are asked of what is the secret of Eclipse?!” Victoria asked Falikh with a questioning face with one brow raised.
“The Eclipse is the fodder of darkness that consumes the light! None shall bequeath what lies ahead of this plane!” Falikh grandly answered with a pose.
“Ahahaha! Only granny knows such complicated answer! Ahahaha!” Victoria laughs carelessly even weapons and magic are aimed at her throat.
“Ahahaha! You are always like that!” Falikh nonchalantly laughs too together with Victoria.
Victoria and Falikh ignored everyone else and bump their fists as if they are the bests of friends. Aspara, seeing such spectacle loses her motivation and withdraws her magic while Lala and Ries sheathed their swords and walks back to Meriyal’s side.
The last one, Ivy, didn’t withdraw and kept her Gauntlet of Icarus aimed at Victoria.
“Oh? Big tits vampire demon lord there, you look cute as ever. Come on, withdraw that dangerous magic already.” Victoria said as she approaches Ivy.
“You…! Don’t think I’ll simply lay down because you know Sir Falikh!” Ivy snarls as she backs away inches by inches as Victoria came close to her.
“Amazing, I like that kind of attitude, obstinate.” Victoria said as she closes in towards Ivy’s face.
Ivy, in vexation, grits her teeth as she is torn apart by the decision of whether to attack Victoria or not for what she has done to her. As she looks down while biting her lip, a hand landed on Ivy’s shoulder.
“Settle down, Demon Lord. We don’t want an epic clash of Demon Lord and Hero here now do we? I’m pretty sure she is just provoking you.” Reysha said that made Ivy withdraw her magic bitterly.
“Miss Reysha…!” Ivy uttered weakly as her eyes are filled with tears from frustration.
“Oh? Who is this black haired cutie!? Look at it I got a full set of harem already!” Victoria grins as she stares at Reysha passionately.
“You really pissed me off.” Reysha muttered.
BAM!
The wind howls and a gust burst inside the mansion. Before everyone else’s eyes, Reysha fist landed on Victoria’s guts and sent her flying out of the mansion from the front door. Everyone had their eyes popping or their mouth gaping from what Reysha did as she was the one who initially stopped everyone.
“I told you guys to calm down not to withdraw your weapons. Well, I guess she didn’t saw this one coming huh.” Reysha said with an evil smirk plastered on her lips.
Reysha started walking out from the mansion to follow Victoria who flew because of her punch. She seemed to fly ten meters away from her initial position. Victoria lay down on the snow while enduring the pain of Reysha’s blow.
“Ow, ow, ow! What the hell…! Why are you so strong?” Victoria asked as she tried to stand up while staggering.
“I told you, you pissed me off. Next time, don’t slam the door open. It’s rude and loud for the ears. Now, come inside the mansion again and this time, knock politely.” Reysha said as she closes the door of the mansion.
