The summoned hero left them in the dust with their jaws hanging. Eiru and Ivy couldn’t believe that she turned tail with just that, especially Ivy who even had a serious conversation with her. The only emotion left for her to feel is utter disappointment.
“What was that…? She bravely ran away!” Eiru exclaimed as he tighten his hold to the demon horn in his hands.
“In any case, Eiru…I am glad to see you again...” Ivy said towards Eiru with sweet but fading voice.
“Ivy…?” Eiru said as he turns around to look at Ivy. Unfortunately, it was not her lively smile that took his breath away but her fallen figure.
“Cold…it’s…so cold…” She can only weakly mutter as she trembles at the chill of the weather.
Eiru immediately rushes to her side and lifts her head. She is paler than ever and her flesh is as cold as ice.
“How many times did you used that power already?! How many times did I tell you not to use it recklessly! You are such a brat and you never learn!” Eiru scolded Ivy with a really vexed emotion.
“Three…I’ve used it…three times consecutively…in my fight with the hero…” Ivy did her best to answer Eiru. “Eiru…I’m sorry…it is as you said…I am a brat.” She added with a smile.
“Enough. This weather is bad. Even if I take you somewhere, this weather will kill you.” Eiru said as he carries Ivy towards a corner.
“Ehehehe…princess carry.” Ivy laughs with while visibly enduring the biting frostbite.
The weather gets worse and the dark clouds looming above the Mesola Capital let loose its fury.
The snowstorm hits the whole city and dyeing everything to white. Snow is rapidly piling up and the snowbed started becoming thick.
“Eiru…I trust you. Ehehehe!~” Ivy said as she enclose her body with her own shaky hands trying to endure the drop of the temperature.
“I’ll leave this for moment with you. In brief time, I am going to bring back the sun in the sky.” Eiru’s hand parted from Ivy’s cheek and tightly holds the horns in his hand as he drops the purse full of gold in front of her.
Eiru immediately dashes off.
“I am called the Harbinger of Winter…or so they say in the Demon Kingdom. I really don’t like it but there’s nothing I can do.” Eiru muttered to his self as he runs towards the storm. With his demonic horns filled with magic in his hand, Eiru dashes in a speed no common demon can match.
Eiru knows that Ivy, as a vampire, has a really strong vitality and won’t die any moment unless she freezes to death. What concerns him is that even with the said vitality, he can’t bear to see the pain in Ivy’s eyes.
Then, why leave her back in the Demon Kingdom in the first place?
Eiru himself is aware that he has an inkling likeness towards Ivy, however, Eiru doesn’t respond to his own emotion and kept on straightening Ivy back when he was serving her. In no time, Ivy confessed to Eiru.
But Eiru rejected Ivy despite knowing that he has a deep intimacy with Ivy.
The whole reason is…
Eiru is being attributed as Ivy’s father figure. Ivy herself doesn’t realizes this fact but for Eiru, such attribution felt really out of place for the reason he wanted Ivy to see him as who is as a man and as a man in her very life alone.
With this thoughts in mind, Eiru escapes from Ivy’s domain and cut off his horn. He does not like how Ivy is still treating him and as such, he cannot come in terms with his own feelings. However, today, he realizes that he deeply cares for Ivy no matter what.

And he thought to himself…
“I am like a stern father to her…dammit!” He said inside his mind.
And so, as he momentarily delves in his thought, he is already at the heart of the Capital before he notices it and right in front of the storm where the coldness is at deepest. If the snowstorm goes in, everything will be frozen solid.
“Haa…I never thought I’d do this again. Well, for her, I will do this.” Eiru said as he uses flight magic to elevate himself from the ground.
As he floats up, he starts chanting a spell, a spell where he specializes. It is a ceremonial spell and at the same time, his natural talent in ice magic that would quell the weather.
“O’ in the name of the Great Demon Cocytus, as the descendant and carrier of blood of the ancient Demons, I declare truce to you O’ disaster.”
“Heed my call and command the Son of Winter and Frostfall to cease their rage upon this land!”
“Thine ice and cold endeavor shall listen to this one’s plead!”
Eiru chanted and so on as his chants goes for longer. With the horns in embrace by his left hand, his right hand shows a bright snowy glow that directs towards the snowstorm. He waves his hand like it was a flowing river that appeals to the weather.

Mika stares unbelievably at Arytorio.
His faith didn’t waver and he didn’t move an inch. Telling him about the truth becomes even harder than before. No, at this point, the truth won’t mean much to him anymore.
Mika notices this as how Arytorio Kerias changes since meeting Thenea.
He heard the Arytorio was once famous for being the most useless prince at the Kingdom of Kerias and notorious for being a troublemaker and skirt chaser. He looks down on people, especially those who are poor.
Arytorio Kerias back then was a man full of pride and haughty. He will always disregard anyone’s emotions and will only see himself as greater than the en masse.
But…the man in front of him…is a changed man, a man who sincerely pursues a complete devotion for the Goddess he believes in and the deepest compassion for the poor and needy.
Even deep in his thoughts, Mika notices that Arytorio finally budged from his place as he abruptly stands up. Seeing this, Mika also look where Arytorio’s head turned to.
At the stained glass, however, the stained glass glows in snowy blue color. The sound of the snowstorm slowly quells and they felt that the heavy surge of the ice cold temperature slowly but surely recedes.
“This…is…wow…” Mika could only mutter.
“A miracle…this is a miracle…I need to see this!” Arytorio exclaimed. His eyes widen and rushes off towards the church’s main door.
“Eh? Hey! Wait!” Mika said as he followed Arytorio.
The two runs towards the door and as soon as Arytorio Kerias slams open the door of the church, their eyes are met with a bright light that filled the place.
They continue running despite the temporary blindness and follows where the light came from.
The chilly wind was no longer there, the heavy snowstorm slowly dissipates as if it is moving back to where it came from and the cloudy sky starts clearing up.
Together with Mika and Arytorio, people from their houses also came out to investigate the source of the bright light.
Slowly, beams of the sunlight rays upon the Capital again and the first and the brightest one came down upon the woman who is floating the air with her hand held up in the air and two horns that looks like an instrument.
Arytorio Kerias, upon seeing the woman who shines in bright godly light who dons a beautiful blond hair and eyes as clear as the blue skies, fell down to his knees and clasps his hand together as he look at the girl with tears running down from his eyes.
“Goddess…Thenea…!” Arytorio exclaimed.
The people around him heard Arytorio mentioning the name. They started talking among themselves and they stare at the girl who seemingly appeased the snowstorm.
People, one by one, fall to their knees and started praying.
Before Mika could notice it, thousands and thousands of people has come and started revering the divine entity in front of them, people whose lives is saved and spared from icy hell.
“Everyone, behold the miracle that Goddess Thenea portrayed right in front of us! She, the Goddess who guides people towards a brighter future! She, the Goddess who will show everyone the way! And she, the Goddess who gives promise of smile for tomorrow! She is Goddess Thenea!” Arytorio announces like he is preaching.
The people who witness the spectacle and heard of his speech are moved to tears. Their faith of the cult of Thenea becomes deeper.
The cult will no longer be a cult. With these many people who witnessed the miracle, Goddess Thenea will be recognized now as a low tier Deity, a Deity that soon will brand as the Goddess of Bright Tomorrow.
Mika kneels down too together with the masses. He covered his face with his clasped hands as tears started running down towards his cheeks. However…
“The absolute madman! Ahahahah!~ I…I can’t…! Hahahaha!” He was doing his best to stop his laughter from bursting out as he know that the woman up there…is none other than Eiru in drag.
