“Hmm, Einhart, aren’t you tired using your legs all day? With the level of your magical power, you can also do this.” Aspara said to Reysha as she follows her from behind.
“I’d rather exercise my body rather than lazily floats around like you. I just hope that your body is in a good state.” Reysha snappily replied without even taking a single glance at Aspara.
“The way you say it, are you implying that I am old?!” Aspara snaps back.
“I’d rather not say it like that.” Reysha replied without any will to further pursue the argument.
It’s been two days since Reysha and Aspara left the forest and started traversing towards the Kingdom of Kerias. Since they are left with no carriages due to Meriyal and Ivy occupying it, the two travels by feet, or so what they are supposed to do.
After arriving at the town within the reaches of Breille Kingdom border, Aspara immediately showed her distaste for commuting in which garners Reysha skeptical gaze.
“Councilor Aspara, we still have a lot of time to spare in our travel. Usually, I just blitz through the way until the capital so I don’t know but, how many cities and towns are we going to pass by?” Reysha asked Aspara.
“The town we’ve been to yesterday is called Harnes Town. Our next destination is a major city in the Breille Kingdom called Lilac City. After that, three more towns to go to and then the border. You can pretty much guess everything on the way.” Aspara answered lazily as she playfully floats around Reysha like she is laying on a bed on her belly.
“I guess I’ll just take my leisure time, huh. Councilor Aspara, are you certain that you won’t travel in separate ways with me?” Reysha threw a curveball.
“The same as you. Are you sure that you want to travel together with me when you can just run all the way to the Kerias Capital?” Aspara asked.
“For some reason, I’d like to take as much time as possible to get there. Unlike me, you have your post as the King’s Councilor so shouldn’t you be rushing back?” Reysha once again threw back the question with countenance growing weary.
“Oh? But I have done my fair share of the job for the kingdom, unlike you. I’d like to unwind as much as possible from my work so isn’t this fine?” Aspara answered with a mocking smirk.
Upon such exchange, Reysha and Aspara gives each other a glare. Their banter ends up as a quarrel because of their desire to chase away one another discreetly. However, as much as Reysha holds her pride, the same goes with Aspara.
“Let’s stop this stupidity. I had enough just from interacting with Falikh and the other bandits.” Reysha suddenly proposes as she massages the bridge of her nose.
“Well, I feel you on that one. You sure have it rough in a way or another, Einhart.” Aspara simply replied with a sympathetic tone.

Reysha didn’t pursue any conversation further with Aspara and walks in stillness.
As they proceed, the scenery of the prairie refreshes their fatigue mind for a little bit. The sound of grass brushing each other while being blown by the wind enters their ears. Reysha’s footstep on the hardened earth road is the only sound that comes from them as Aspara floats.
The dazzling blue sky filled with clouds sways and the calm and gentle sunlight falls down on them with a warmth that could only be described as a bit toasty.
Several minutes have passed since the lazy atmosphere sets in.
“Einhart, what are you doing in your life?” A random question suddenly drops in as Aspara’s bored voice reaches out to Reysha.
“Why do you ask? Are you really that bored?” Reysha didn’t answer but instead, returned a question.
“You…have so much talent. You have so much power within you, yet, you are not making full use of it. It’s such a damn waste. It’s infuriating, you are infuriating, Einhart.” Aspara’s voice is calm but there’s a sheer weight behind it that made Reysha glance at her direction for a moment.
“I see. Then I shall answer that for you. I am doing whatever I want in my life.” Reysha answered bluntly.
“How crude. With that, you could save a lot of lives, you can come at the top within the strongest. With that power, you can be somewhat a distinguished individual.” Aspara’s voice comes out as a little desperate.
“First, I don’t want to overshadow my sisters. Yrsha and Ersha actually work hard to attain what they have right now. I love both of them and I know they have their pride as the older sisters. As much as possible, I want them to feel proud of themselves and likewise, I am proud of them.” Reysha answered in somewhat a lukewarm voice.
“If you worded it like that, I guess I don’t have much to judge of you. Those two actually contributes a lot to the kingdom and their achievement is no easy feat. I can see where you are coming from.” Aspara replied with an understanding tone.
“Now, it’s time for you to answer the same question. Tell me, what do you want in your life?” Reysha then promptly urges Aspara as she stops in her tracks and gave Aspara an observing gaze.
“…Eh?” Aspara then stops and sprouted a surprised countenance.
“Hmm? What do you expect to come afterward when you asked that question? You better answer in accordance with the rules of equivalent exchange. Also, answer honestly because I did.” Reysha said to Aspara with a faint smile.
Aspara stayed quiet with a baffled face.
“That’s…” Aspara started speaking again with a timid voice.
Reysha raised an eyebrow upon Aspara’s timidity, however, the person herself did her best to collect herself and brought calmness again in her mind as she resolute her heart.
“I want to be a hero. It’s always been my dream ever since I was a kid…” Aspara answered while trying to suppress her embarrassment in face of Reysha Einhart, the last person she wanted to confess such pipedream.
“Oh? Even now?” Reysha followed up a confirmation.
“Shut it, Einhart! What if it still the same as now?!” Aspara snaps back.
Reysha sprouted a gaping mouth from Aspara’s embarrassment as she told her about such cute and childish dream, however, she formed a gentle and warm smile on her lips while she watches Aspara.
“Hahaha, what’s wrong with such dream? I think you are already plenty heroic for serving the people of the Kerias Kingdom, Aspara.” Reysha said as she turns around and started walking again.
“Wha--?! Wait, Einhart! That was a lie!” Aspara started floating towards Reysha again with a flustered face.
“I understand now, Aspara. I see you now in a new light. Aspara, you are nicer than I thought and I am honestly glad that you turned out to be an ally.” Reysha said her opinion about Aspara which made the other party more embarrassed.
“Stop I say, Einhart!!” Aspara’s heed reaches no ear as Reysha kept on complimenting her all the way.
