Throughout the sky, Exodus uses flight magic to its fullest speed. An array of bullets colored in various hues hums towards her, arcing to wherever she goes, wherever she flies in the vast sky.
In her tail goes Victoria, running on the ground and aiming at Exodus with two Glocks with a grin on her face as she chases Exodus like a prey.
“Truly, I deem you now as not a bothersome but a great deal of trouble. I’m quite grateful for enlightening me of your true prowess!” Exodus cheered at Victoria without hinting a gaze at her as she is busy trying to get away from the bullets.
“Are you going to submit to me now? I’ll take care of you for the rest of your life if you become my woman!” Victoria teases with a lighthearted tone.
“I shall not trick you twice but I’d like you to know that I am devoted with my quest and towards my mother. Though a tempting offer, I must humbly decline.” Exodus said in one breath as she slowly descended to the ground while dodging the bullets.
There are some known and obvious facts about Victoria’s ability.
First, her bullets homes towards the target and will follow them without abandon and Exodus is experiencing it firsthand. It is persistent and will lodge on one’s body that can impede movement. Exodus has already taken some bullets on her limbs.
Second, one of the most troublesome ability that Victoria has is the antithesis. It is a power that breaks the concept of fantasy and takes its root towards the reality of the world where she came from. Basically, anything that rooted in this world where magic exists will be nullified. It already disabled Exodus’ regeneration with magic rendering her to heal the injury through normal means.
Third and the one of the troublesome thing that Exodus’ and only she has discovered is that Victoria, even how much damage she takes, how much attacks she endures, her body never breaks.
Tough, resilient, durable, or and anything that could describe that something indestructible. She was tough both physically and mentally that her guard was so low that she didn’t really need to dodge most of Exodus’ attacks in the first place.
However, whatever mystery comes out of Victoria, Exodus was prepared and will prepare countermeasure.
“This is it!” Exodus shouted as rocks around her started flying towards the bullets, raining down from below like a bullet itself.
The bullets that Victoria fired off are antithesis bullets and by no means magical bullets. The bullets started straying off as it loses its velocity before falling to the ground.
“See, I’ve seen through your trick. Won’t you praise me for being a clever girl?” Exodus said with a smug as she stopped from her tracks and floated down to the ground.
“Yes, you are such a clever girl. Now I’m quite troubled. What should I do?~” Victoria didn’t even show the slightest discomfort contrasting her words.
“Chaste personality, I am really convinced that you have a water clear personality. I’m also glad that I made time for you as I am overflowing with usable data! To answer you and to repay you in kind, I shall part you with a satisfying match!” Exodus announced as she then rushed towards Victoria.
She dives into the ground and lodged her right foot and swings her left foot toward Victoria creating a roundhouse kick packed with a huge amount of magical energy. Despite her injuries, Exodus’ performance didn’t prove to be burdened.
In rush, Victoria conjured a shotgun and blocks the kick with the barrel. Taking the chance, Victoria bashed Exodus on the head with the base of the shotgun before spinning it and firing it point blank towards Exodus’ flank.

Twisting her body, Exodus barely dodges the barrage of bullets by pushing her body towards Victoria and giving her a solid headbutt.
With no choice but to keep a distance, Victoria crouches and jumped back, leaving five grenades on the ground where Exodus is, but to no avail, was blocked because of an earthen wall akin to a steel Exodus erected.
With no other way to go to an offensive, Victoria continuously fires her shotgun to Exodus, however, to no avail, Exodus started dodging as if she already knows how the shotgun works as a firearm calculating its speed, velocity, air resistance, and even its weight.
Exodus knew that the bullet will do her harm to the point of disabling her regeneration. In reality, Exodus is watching the blood that she loses already from the damage done by antithesis.
And there’s one huge factor that made Victoria the worse enemy for Exodus.
“I can’t use my ability on her, huh, such a bad matchup for me.” Exodus muttered with a smile.
Antithesis is an ability of Victoria that perpetually protects her from pretty much anything, from curse to magically induced ailments. She won’t even catch any disease that only exists on this world, however, in that regard, healing magic won’t work on her too.
“This is the summoned hero that neglects logics of this world and continue on neglecting it, a perpetual existence indeed. Does her ability also neglect any bodily damage done in this world?” Exodus started pondering.
“Who are you thinking of? Is it me?” Victoria said as she noticed that Exodus is deeply pondering about something while instinctively dodging from her attacks.
“I was just thinking, maybe, won’t you let me go? I just realized how hopeless my situation is.” Exodus asked with her usual gentle smile.
“Hmm? I don’t know. Why would I do that?” Victoria halts on her barrage of attacks once more and put on a cheery atmosphere again for a chat.
“Your ability is too outstanding compared to the two that I fought earlier. What kind of skills that you have? What kind of a person are you to be blessed with such a thing? What are your secrets? I want to know a lot. Ah, I’m also interested in you personally but I find this moment to be unsettling to be discovering more of you.” Exodus gave her honest reasons for halting the battle on her own accord.
“Then, how would that even benefit me? Hmm, come to think of it, I’m not really that loyal to anyone or any groups. You could say I’m just here because you attacked. But still, though, do you plan on a compromise?” Victoria answered in kind while walking towards Exodus gleefully.
“Oh, how about you and I get intimate like what you wanted the next time we meet? I’ll adhere to your desire for this one so won’t you give me today’s leeway?” Exodus proposes.
“Really? Are you serious? If you promise me something like that, I might start looking forward to it right now that I might not be able to womanize for a while. Because once I set my eyes on someone, I tend to stick around like a bee attracted to a honey.” Victoria started another smooth talk over her foe.
“You don’t run out of flowery stuff to mumble, that’s commendable. I too will look forward to this, Hero. So, partakes me with this escape and I shall be yours for a duration of a night.” Exodus sweetly whispered to Victoria’s ears as they came toe to toe.
“If this is one of your seduction deceptions again, don’t worry, it works quite well given how enticing you truly are. But, this excitement of mine needs to wait a little longer as you wanted. I’ll let you escape if you can. I just can’t return there like nothing happened here and we are enemies, so at least try escaping from me as I will leave a very good impression of me in this last attack of mine.” Victoria peered away from Exodus as she smiled impishly.
“Goodness, how greedy. But that too seems a little charming. I’ve collected more than enough data so, look forward to my army in the next two months. By the start of the Autumn, I shall siege the Breille Kingdom with thousands of my upgraded homunculus.” Exodus announced as she started walking away from Victoria.
“Ah, your intentions will be conveyed thoroughly. Well then, please make haste so we can meet again because if not, I’d be lamenting for my drained excitement of this night.” Victoria’s last word before her whole body started emitting sparks that could burn the ground.
Upon sensing the swelling of the power inside Victoria, Exodus further hastened her sprint. Indeed, she felt that Victoria was just hiding her true power behind her air of arrogance and aloofness. This moment, she knew that the summoned hero Victoria is going to unleash her true power unbeknownst to anyone.
Victoria launches herself into the sky and started aiming for the escaping Exodus. The lightning that starts frying everything around her starts gathering at her palm, a compressed energy that emits a bright white light that Illuminates the sky.
In her hand started materializing a metallic object as twice bigger than Victoria. Its shape is akin to a cylinder with fins-like tail on the end. The silvery dark object was actually demoted from its former power but at least, it can decimate that entirety of the prairie around her.
The name of Victoria’s new weapon is…
“Little boy.” Victoria said as she singlehandedly threw that object towards Exodus.
