“Somehow, I need to BS my way out of this for a little, to have a little compensation to have a peek of Ivy’s motive.” Reysha inwardly judged as she kept eye contact to the Demon Lord.
“T-This is getting a little tense…Could it be, what the little miss said earlier about being the Demon Lord…is true?” Amadeo timidly asks.
However, no answer was returned from the tense atmosphere that only made it much harder for Amadeo to ask further. No, from the atmosphere itself, Amadeo instinctively knew that it was the truth. His face pales as he remembers how rude he was towards Ivy earlier.
“What I want? I need connection within the ranks of humans. Summoned heroes are bound to bring greater trouble or even trivial ones that could turn bigger. I know it since my father is a summoned hero.” Ivy said with objectivity in mind as she explained what she wants from Reysha. “However, I know that you need assurance that I wouldn’t cause further trouble, right?” she added.
“You are really used to this, huh. I can give you what you want but as you said, I need to keep my eyes on you. The reason you want to kill the hero is for that reason though…” Reysha answered as she closes her eyes.
“I have no intention of killing someone! Geez…what do you think of me! I haven’t killed anyone and I don’t want to!” Ivy hurriedly explained. “If needed so, I’ll just try to manipulate the hero an extent or ask him if he wants to go home.” Ivy explained herself.
“I see, then, I will tell you a little about myself.” Reysha said as she breathed a huge sigh. “A divine soul of a dragon resides in me. My power comes from this dragon that mixes with my soul. Satisfied?” Reysha briefly explained.
Contrary to her expectation, Falikh and Ivy are both bewildered. The two look at each other and look back at Reysha with a face of utter shock.
“You should’ve acted…They’re already here…The ***er Scrolls told of their return. Their defeat was merely a delay.” Falikh said with sweat spilling from his forehead.
“For the time after Oblivion opened then the sons of Sky*** would spill their own blood. But no one wanted to believe. Believe they even existed.” Ivy followed the same expression as Falikh.
“And when the truth finally dawned…it dawns them fire!” Falikh said as he stood up from his seat and went beside Reysha.
“But, there is one they fear. In their tongue, he is *****kiin,…” Ivy said as she went beside the other side of Reysha.
“”Dragonbo--!”” The two shouted but Reysha’s hand immediately halted them as she threw her hand in the air.
“Shut up…I don’t even know what the two of you are saying! God…where’s that headache medicine Teth gave me earlier…” Reysha exploded. It is as she expected, the two of them immediately made her head pulses with pain.
“……” A hand appeared right in front of Reysha. It was Spoof hand with a pack of medicine.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Reysha reaches out for the medicine and opens a bottle and gulp the content. Spoof nonchalantly sat beside Reysha with his eyes popping out as he stares at Ivy’s breasts.
“……!” Spoof made so many hands flinging gestures towards Reyhsa.
“The hell is wrong with you pervert…” Reysha could only growl as she tries to feel the effect of the medicine.
“Yeah, that’s right! So what? I am in my monthly cycle! Are you happy hearing it from me?!” Reysha shouted right in front of Spoof. “The cold is harsh for so don’t bother me too much…” Reysha added.
“……!” Spoof made another round of hand signs.
“What is he saying now?” Ivy asked as she returned to her seat.
“Hmm? This guy asked something about your power. It is something like if your power leaves you oversensitive, then that would include your libido, right?” Reysha asked with a tired expression. “Basically, double the sensitivity, double the pleasure…” she added.
“Hmm? What does that mean…?” Ivy asked with innocent eyes.
Seeing this, Reysha’s cheek twitched. She and Falikh know that there’s something wrong with Ivy’s mentality but hoped that she is at least a little versed about this topic. To make sure she is, Reysha took the initiative and ask Ivy the question.
“Hey…you…do you know how babies are made?” Reysha asked with another serious face.
“Ahahaha! What’s with that silly question? That’s easy! Babies are delivered by Pelicans!” Ivy said with proud eyes twinkling with excitement.
“Holy fu--…she even had the bird wrong! How can she even live this long with that broken knowledge?!” Reysha inwardly shouted as she reaches out for another bottle of headache medicine.
Even Falikh and Amadeo are a little troubled, however, Spoof…
“Don’t even think about it Spoof. I am going to castrate you…” Reysha coldly said without looking at Spoof. The man shivers in fear from Reysha’s tone. “Anyway, Ivy Hellbeing, I am going to let you take shelter here until you find this hero. It’s not my damn problem whatever you do to that hero. However, there are fundamental things I wanted for you to learn in return too. Will that be okay?” Reysha said while trying to recall all fundamentals of lesson plan making.
“That will do. I, Ivy Hellbeing will accept your generous offer then.” Ivy said as their talk concludes.
“Oh? You guys were so noisy. Since I deemed that we have a guest, I cooked more than the usual so let’s eat lunch. Today, we have a Salisbury steak.” Teth said as he emerges from the kitchen.
“Salisbury…why does it sounds so familiar…” Reysha thought of something trivial.
“Hey, Teth. Where are the others?” Falikh said as he approaches Teth.
“Ah, about that…” Teth sighs a little as he leans on the wall. “Miss Aspara arrived earlier in rush. She said that upon her return, The Prince, Arytorio Kerias has started a cult called the Prophecy of Thenea. Knowing that we are involved, she immediately rushes back here.” He simply said.
“Thenea…that Thenea that he thought was a goddess?! Ahahaha! What the hell?!” Falikh laughed with a little tear emerging from his eyes.
“It’s no joke…at least for them. She said the Prince Arytorio Kerias has influenced that majority of people because of his sudden change and reputation that helped the people despite being a royalty.” Teth said as he looks outside the window.
“I heard about that too. I was here when they talked about it. Miss Aspara said that Prince Arytorio Kerias went on a pilgrim towards the Mesola Kingdom. She said that the cult of Thenea may become a realized religion.” Amadeo interjected and conveyed what he heard earlier. “Miss Aspara also mentioned about meeting the summoned hero…well…that’s all…” he added.
“It’s not our problem. We don’t have to do anything about it. Let Aspara handle that. In the meantime, let’s stay here. I don’t want to venture out in the cold…” Reysha said as she walks towards her room instead of towards the dining hall.
“Hey…” Ivy’s voice resounded that place with utter confusion.
Everyone looked at her and then she spoke.
“Who is that Thenea by the way?” Ivy innocently asked.
