Chapter 80

Mark went directly to his bedroom after he sent a group message to everybody that he would be unavailable for several hours. He planned to tackle and finished the 13th floor today. He went directly to the said floor and walked forward instead of Levitating. Of course he didn’t forget to cast his Space Shield and Bark Skin.

The first group that he stumbled was still a group of desert Lizard Folk and Giant Scorpion but there was a particularly large Lizard Folk riding a scorpion. Mark summoned his two Bush Golems and two Tree Golems and commanded them to attack the lizard men and scorpions. He cast a Swamp Briar at the mob then hurled his plant spells at the enemies one by one.

The first spell that he summoned was Thorn Whip followed by Thorn Spike Barrage. He then Summoned the Thorn Spike Field at the group of enemies. The golem engaged the enemies and they were at an advantage because of the slow effect on the enemies of the Swamp of Briar. Mark then cast Abyssal Thorn and Thorn Spike at the elite desert Lizard Folk. He repeated his castings until all of the enemies died. He noticed that the two Bush Golems almost died but that was because he didn’t cast any healing spell at them or refresh the summon Bush Golem spell. He was testing if the golems would survive a combat scenario without healing and the little ones actually did.

Mark cancelled his summons and waited for the loot to appear. When they did, he put them all into his Inventory but noticed that the one from the elite desert Lizard Folk who was riding the Giant Scorpion was an accessory. It was actually a ring and when he identified it, he was pleasantly surprised that it was a Storage Ring with one cubic meter capacity.

Mark was delighted with the appearance of the ring since now, the group would have an item that they could use to store the drops. He wondered why the dungeon produced such an item since he did have an Inventory.

“Did that mean that the random drop was truly random or was it formed due to the collective needs or wants of the people inside?” Mark thought.

The next group of enemies were something new. He was ambushed by huge desert worms. The worm actually tried to swallow him but it couldn’t close it’s mouth due to Space Shield. It gave him such a fright that when he was thrown in the air by the worm, he immediately cast Levitation and then bombarded the three desert worms with void spells. One casting of Void Chain Lightning, Void Storm, Void Tsunami and Glacial Void killed the three worms.

Mark’s heart was still beating loudly while he waited for the loot to appear and when they did, he kept them on his Inventory immediately. He decided to continue walking instead of Levitating since he really wanted to temper his heart with these kinds of unexpected situation. He needed to get used to it and train himself to react quickly since he didn’t know what type of situation he would encounter in the other world or in the dungeon for that matter, in the future.

Mark was really tempted to add to his Space Shield and Bark skin but held off since level 60 was near and there’s a possibility of a better defense spell. He knew that his current defense spells were enough it was just that he got agitated by how the desert worm almost swallowed him.

The desert worm was the last type of enemy that he encountered in the 13th floor. The rest were a mixture of Giant Scorpion and desert Lizard Folk. After a few more hours of battling the mob, he completed the 13th floor at around late in the afternoon.

Mark went to the 11th floor to Identify and store all of the things that he received. Basically every items were the same with 12th floor and the only noteworthy item were the Storage Ring that he Identified earlier and the magic blue wand that has the Fire Bolt skill. It had a damage of 40 with 60 charges and earned one charge per ten minutes. Enleed would be happy with this wand. He thought of selling it to Donald but he figured Enleed would want it so he planned to give it to him.

Mark upgraded what he could and assigned the Auto Equip skill to each new one then destroyed the rest. As usual he kept the crafting materials. He checked his level and he leveled up from level 49 to level 52. The total points that he earned including the remaining ones left were eight points for stats and 19 points to skill points.

Mark added two points each to Strength, Vitality, Dexterity and Agility, bringing them up to 14 from 12 and bringing his HP hit points to 420. He also added two points to Tree Golem, since level three Tree Golem was the requirement for Forest Guardian, bringing them up to level three. It now had an MP cost of 60 and the golems HP were 300. The duration remained the same with the Bush Golems which was 30 minutes. One point to Forest Guardian allowed him to summon two humongous ancient tree golem that was larger in height and bulk compared to the Tree Golems. They had an summoning cost of 60 MP with 300 HP each and the duration was the same with the other golems which was 30 minutes. Now the remaining points that he had were zero stat points and 15 skill points.

After dealing with his stat and his skill points he went to the living room and messaged the group that he found a new item that Enleed could use. He waited a while then he could hear everybody coming in.

“What is it?” Enleed asked when everyone arrived.

“Tada! It’s a wand. It has the skill Fire Bolt with 40 damage per bolt and it has 60 charges earning one charge per ten minutes!”

“Wow! I’m gonna be Harry Potter. I want to try it.”

“I really wanted to give it to this friend of mine in London since I promised him a magic item that can shoot things but I thought you could use it since the two of us looked like statues without doing anything once the mob were near enough. At least now, I’m the only one who will stand there looking like a moron.” Mark laughed.
