Mark summoned his Bush Golems, Tree Golems, and Forest Guardians but told them to stay in front of the door of one of the worn-out houses.
He cast Void Meteor to destroy the house and four ghouls surged from the destroyed house and attacked the golems. Four more zombies crawled out from the ground just outside the house and four ghosts appeared as well from the destroyed house.
Mark cast Forest Sanctuary amid the battle and the healing aura of the spell damaged the undead monsters greatly. The mythical creatures that usually stayed inside the sanctuary like the unicorn, the dryads, and the multitudes of fairies and sprites attacked the monsters as well, and in no time, the battle ended. He saw that four items dropped so he kept them in his inventory.
He did the same things on the other two remaining broken houses but in the last one, there were three elite undead that appeared. One elite ghoul, one elite zombie, and one elite ghost. When all of the monsters were dead, he saw that there was another purple loot item which was the second legendary item that he got from the twenty-fifth floor. He kept all the dropped items in his inventory, intending to identify them once the dive was complete.
Several more battles happened but on the last location on the twenty-fifth floor, there was a huge mausoleum in the middle of a cemetery.
In front of the mausoleum, there was a skeleton wearing a mage's robe. Based on its appearance, it could be a lich and it being in front of a mausoleum reminded Mark of one of his favorite anime called Overlord.
Mark summoned his golems and commanded them to attack the skeleton. He also identified it, and it did say that it was a lich. The lich summoned around ten skeleton soldiers and five zombies also crawled out from the ground and attacked the golems. Five ghouls were also summoned by the lich from somewhere.
Since Mark knew that a lich is a caster, he decided to cast the sphere like Space Shelter for added defense.
When the golems reached the skeletons and the ghouls, he cast Forest Sanctuary to assist the golems in battle. To make sure that he had enough MP, Mark cast Floating Sunflower on himself.

As expected, the lich summoned some spells to attack Mark. The spell looked like a gray bolt and when it reached the Space Shelter, Mark was glad to see that the spell Space Shelter held.
Mark made sure to refresh Forest Sanctuary and he also cast some plant spells to assist the golems. Still, from the look of things, the golems and the mythical creatures in the Forest Sanctuary were enough to vanquish the lich and its minions.
After the battle, Mark put the dropped loot in his inventory. He was expecting the fight to be more challenging because the lead monster was a lich, but the fact was, it was just an elite monster and not a boss.
He checked the time, and it was still early so he decided to go to the tenth floor of the dungeon to farm items. Mark battled the tenth floor boss and its minions and after the fight, he was glad to see that it was only six in the evening. When he went outside the dungeon, the twins and Nedertu still weren't home, so he decided to take a shower and prepare dinner.
While waiting for the twins and Nedertu, Mark thought about what he would do the next day. He knew he would have to take a break from dungeon diving since it was the weekend and Hamil would show the Star Wars movies to customers instead of family and friends. That meant that the twins would not have any long-term activity that would allow him to dungeon dive. Mark then thought that he could do it in the morning while Rendira was teaching the kids. He really wanted to level up to ninety to get the next set of skills or level one hundred if needed.
When the twins and Nedertu arrived, they started with dinner, and after they ate, the boys asked if they could play the console game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and he agreed. Mark thought that maybe the twins were geniuses since they could play the game at the very young age of six although he remembered being able to play console games at that age as well. For some reason, his mother allowed him to play console games when he was very young. He did overhear a talk between his father and mother regarding that very topic and his mother mentioned that when she was younger, she wanted to play games on a console as well, but her family was too poor to afford one, so she allowed her son to do so. However, she did control the game time strictly.
Nedertu also requested to play the game, so Mark replicated another television and console game and joined the cat man in playing the game. After a couple of hours, he asked the twins to stop playing and get ready for bed after washing up. The twins did request some snacks, so he prepared hot chocolate with marshmallows for all of them. When the twins tasted the drink, they declared that it was their new favorite thing in the whole wide world which made Mark laugh since he declared the very same thing to his mother when he was very young. Nedertu did agree with the boys that the drink was delicious.
After drinking the hot chocolate with marshmallow, Mark tucked in the boys and for some reason, the kids decided to sleep in one bed and requested for him to tell them a bedtime story.
Mark told the boys a story about a young man who wanted to be an adventurer and when he was old enough, the young man left his family and began conquering different types of monsters like dragons and basilisks. When the young man was older and tired, he went back home to find that all of his family members had died except for his mother who waited for him to come home for a very long time. When the adventurer arrived home, his mother smiled for the last time, told him “Welcome Home,” and died. After that, the young man settled down in his family home and married his childhood sweetheart who also waited for him, and he lived happily ever after.
Mark created the story on the spot, but he didn’t expect it to make the boys cry, but they did. He consoled them by telling them that it was a made-up story but for some reason that only made the boys cry harder to his bafflement. After a while, the boys got tired and slept.
