Mark filled the table inside the tents with boxes of donuts then he went outside to check on the twins. He saw that the huge box where they kept the coins from the customers was beginning to become filled, so he added another box beside it. He saw that the kids were getting tired so he carried them and told Milena and Nedertu that he would leave them with the donuts and continue selling them until they were all sold.
He also told Milena that they could keep the coins in the cart and that she would be in charge of how much their compensation should be. The two girls who were helping them looked at Milena enviously and she showed them a smug expression.
While carrying the sleepy twins back to the RV he heard Milena say to her friends “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of you,” which just made him smile.
When they arrived at the RV, Mark tucked the twins in their bed and then went to the living room. He checked the time and saw that it was already five in the afternoon which meant that the twins would be awake late tonight, but he just shrugged. He relaxed by reading his web novel on his phone until Milena and Nedertu arrived.
“Mark, we gave the boxes of coins to Hamil to have them replaced with large denominations and we also included the ones stored in the cart,” Milena said, and Mark just nodded.
Milena looked pointedly at Nedertu, and the cat man just sighed.
“What happened?” Mark asked the two.
“Well, we argued a bit since Milena gave a lot of coins to her friends and she kept telling me that you don’t care. She said that if we tell you that we lost the earnings you’ll just probably shrug it off,” Nedertu told Mark and he actually just shrugged which made Milena laugh.
“We know that you’re incredibly wealthy, but you can just treat the coins like they don’t matter!” Nedertu said.
“I’m not treating them as if they don’t matter. I just assigned the task of tallying them to Milena and I trust both of you to manage my coins well. If you need to spend some of it on food and for paying those who help us so be it.”
Nedertu just sighed again, and Milena laughed.
“Let me start cooking dinner then,” Milena said.
“Oh no, let me just conjure dinner tonight since the twins are still asleep. By the way, are you still going to dive into the dungeon tomorrow?” Mark asked Nedertu.
“Yes. Sunetta will be our healer. There would be six of us. Me, a couple of my friends who also take care of animals, one dwarf, and one halfling. Except for me and one other, all of them just come of age.”
“So, you’re a caretaker?” Mark asked and Nedertu just nodded which made him laugh.
“I’ll lend your healer this item. It’s called a Rod of Healing. Anyone who used this item would have increased mana capacity and increased magical damage and it had a healing skill that could heal the user and allies. It’s range so he or she could just point the rod to those in need and a bolt will come out that will provide instant healing. I don’t know how much healing it will give so you have to test it out. It has only forty charges, but it does earn one charge per hour, so you have to be careful to save enough heals for those times that your group is in critical condition. By the way, anyone could use it, even warriors. Since it does earn one charge per hour, I recommend that your team test it out tonight.”

Nedertu and Milena gasped when they heard the power of the Rod of Healing. Mark gave the rod to Nedertu.
“I can feel it! I can feel my energy increase and I can feel the spell! It’s instinctive! I just need to point the rod and cast the spell!” Nedertu kept gasping the details of what he was feeling while he was holding the rod.
“That’s a valuable legendary item! You will just lend it to Nedertu? Are you not afraid that he would just run off with it? He could probably live as a wealthy noble somewhere after he sells it.” Milena said.
“I don’t think anyone in the circus is petty enough to do something like that and if that truly happens, I’ll just allow Hamil to handle it. Besides, it’s hardly my most powerful healing item.”
“You still have a more powerfully healing item?! What does it do? Resurrect dead people?” Milena said.
Mark couldn’t help himself and asked the two not to share the details of the item he was about to show and the two frantically nodded. He took out the Staff of the Archange Vikander from his inventory. The glowing orange staff almost caused the eyes of Nedertu and Milena to almost pop out from their socket.
“This staff is called the Staff of the Archangel Vikander. Just like the rod of healing, it has a spell that would heal the user and his allies, but the healing skill is powerful. Not only that, the added power that the user will experience while wielding the staff is massive. But the best part of this staff is it would allow me to summon the archangel Vikander and the archangel can fight, heal someone, or heal many people at the same time but the most powerful spell of the archangel Vikander is, that he or she could resurrect someone who died as long as it’s not more than ten minutes.”
“That’s a divine item! If it can call a servant of a god, it’s already a divine item!” Nedertu shouted.
“Don’t shout the twins are sleeping. In my country, this item is called a mythical item. Do you want to see the angel?”
Nedertu and Milena nodded.
Mark thought for a bit and decided against summoning it since it could cause a commotion.
“On second hand, let me show you the archangel once we went on vacation to my oasis again.”
Nedertu and Milena just nodded again. The twins came out of their bedroom.
“We heard Nedertu shouting. Did something happen?”
Mark kept the staff in his inventory and told the kids that Nedertu was just surprised at the power of the Rod of Healing that he let the cat man borrow so they would be safe in the dungeon tomorrow.
“Can we go to the dungeon Mark?” Isaac asked.
“Sure, once you’re sixteen or a mage whichever comes first, I’ll conjure us our dinner so what do you want to eat?” Mark replied.
“I want to eat rice and fried chicken,” Aaron said, and his brother echoed him.
Nedertu and Milena said that they were fine with whatever he conjured so Mark replicated rice, fried chicken, roast chicken, grilled pork, and some steak. Caesar salad for greens and pitchers of juice and soda and cans of beer.
Everyone ate with gusto and after dinner, the twins requested to watch some animated film. Mark didn’t want to think deeply about what to let the twins watch so he let them watch Disney’s The Little Mermaid. He remembered that he was planning to let the others watch Disney’s films by the year they came out, but he didn’t want to bother anymore.
Nedertu asked if he could show the rod to the others in the circus and Mark just nodded and went back to reading his web novel while the twins and Milena watched The Little Mermaid.
