“When are we leaving?” Mark asked everyone.
“Tomorrow. We will ask everyone to prepare to leave and it would look like we’re just preparing to open and before ten in the morning, we will leave the city. To anyone who asks, we will just tell them that we’re changing venues. Once we’re outside the city, we expect that some of the powerful mages would probably come and inquire why we left and we’ll just be honest but as of this moment, we don’t care about this city anymore,” Hamil said and everyone looked like they agreed with him.
“I’m sorry guys that this happened,” Mark said to everyone.
“It’s not your fault that some greedy nobleman wants to monopolize your movies. This is not rare and we know what to do. The important thing is for us to protect our own. If they cornered us we will fight to the death!” Nilfur Forgehammer shouted.
The others just rolled their eyes at the dwarf but looking at everyone, Mark could see that they agreed with the hot-headed dwarf.
The next day, the circus was extremely busy. They were dismantling all those that needed to be dismantled and made sure that everything was cleaned up properly. The circus kids remained in their carriages under the watchful eyes of their mothers and were even asked to do a lot of chores.
“What is happening, Mark? Why is everyone so busy?” Isaac asked.
“We’re leaving the city, kids. Some bad men wanted to take the movies for themselves and they wanted me to leave the circus and join them and I don’t want to so everyone decided to just leave,” Mark said to the kids.
Isaac looked angry and Aaron looked worried. Liriel ran towards Mark and climbed up his neck, hugged him fiercely, and wasn’t showing any intention of letting go.
“Yes, we should leave this city! We don’t want to leave the circus!” Isaac shouted.
“I’m sad that we will not see our friends in the city again,” Aaron added.
“You know our lives in the circus are highly enjoyable but we pay for that by making friends and then leaving them once it’s time for us to travel again. You don’t need to worry though since soon, we will meet new friends again.”
After breakfast, Nedertu, Milena, and the others dismantled their stall, and since that was the only thing they needed to clean up, they immediately went and assisted the others in the circus while Mark and the kids waited inside their RV. Mark sighed that nothing happened with Arissa since she was truly one of the most beautiful girls he had ever since but that was life. In actuality, he was probably overestimating himself when it came to Arissa.
At around ten in the morning, the whole circus mobilized itself to leave the city but one of the unfortunate things that came with the situation was the other three circuses decided not to go with them.
Mark was tense while they were in the process of exiting the city but he saw that he was the only one. Everyone else was relaxed, treating the movement as a regular start of their new journey. It was a bit sad that they were leaving the city early but they already earned a huge amount of coins from the citizens of Narcone and there were other rich cities that they could go to.

Mark saw through the RV window that some citizens were following the circus and knew that they were the die-hard fans of the Star Wars films and for a brief moment, he felt a bit sorry for them since they would not be able to see the movies anymore.
When the citizens of Narcone saw that the circus kept moving even after they exited the city, they realized that the circus was leaving and every one of them wailed and ran asking why they were leaving.
Hamil loudly announced to them that some nobles and officials didn’t welcome them anymore and were slapped with severe restrictions so they decided to leave then he told everyone that the circus wasn’t staying in the city permanently anyway it was just the plan to leave was moved forward because of greedy people.
After about a couple of kilometers away from the city, Hamil went to Mark’s RV to inform him that a couple of wizards were flying towards them from the city of Narcone. Once Hamil informed Mark, Hamil stopped the whole caravan and waited for the wizards to arrive.
Hamil suddenly said to Mark that he recognized the two wizards and that they were archmages that were part of the council in Narcone and one of them was one of the officials that watched the films in the palace.
Hamil, Mark, the three elven sisters, and Lorendo met with the two archmages.
“Archmage Leon, Archmage Vadu, good afternoon. How may we help you?” Hamil told one of the wizards.
“Hamil, why did you leave? My son and daughter came to my office crying, saying that some greedy officials drove you away.” Archmage Leon said.
“We were given severe restrictions from the government because Mark here didn’t want to submit to some of those nobles as their personal retainer. They wanted to monopolize the movies so instead of fighting with them, we decided to leave and go to a place where we will be welcomed,” Hamil told the wizards.
The wizards then demanded the names of those officials and nobles and Hamil gave them without hesitation. After that, the two archmages invited the circus back and told them that they would do everything in their power to protect them from unscrupulous people.
“The citizens of Narcone knew that circuses aren’t permanent. Yes, they saw something new which was a novelty for them but we will leave soon anyway and they have to accept that fact. We’re glad that some of our attraction brought happiness to them but it’s time for us to leave and show the rest of the world our acts. We thank you the archmages for inviting us back but we will continue on our journey. As a gift, please accept the third to first-place prizes that we prepare for the convention and you can do whatever you want.”
After that Hamil and the others joined the circus and continued on their journey while the two archmages looked on. It was bittersweet for them to part ways with the glorious city of Narcone with its three dungeons in a not-so-good relationship but as Hamil said there were other cities and their adventure must continue.
Mark saw that the twins were a bit sad while Liriel was still the same so he decided not to dungeon dive for now and play with the kids to console them. He told Milena and Nedertu that he and the children would rest for a bit in his private realms and would return after a day or two and with their blessings, he, the twins, and Liriel went to the eleventh floor of his dungeon.
In the next two days, Mark, and the children inside the villa on the eleventh floor woke up and watched some kid's shows for a couple of hours after breakfast then they did some physical activities to make sure that everyone had their exercise like hide and seek or tag in the surrounding forest which was perpetually set to the autumn season. The forest was very safe so everyone enjoyed their play there. Then after lunch, they all went to the twenty-first floor to swim in the oasis for a couple of hours, then after that, they went back to the villa to watch some shows or movies and play some console games then it was time for dinner.
After dinner, they would play some more then Mark would ask the kids to wash up then he would tuck them in on their beds and tell them some bedtime stories. They did the same thing for a couple of days and soon the twins were back to their lively selves so they went back to the circus.
