Solinae once told Mark that a powerful king destroyed a traveling theater group in an attempt to capture their lead actress. Amongst the group was a hidden old archmage who was working as the actors' set maker and special effects creator. That move by the king resulted in the actors’ deaths and even the actress who was coveted by the king died but unfortunately for the king, the archmage escaped.

After that, the archmage made a series of covert attacks until all of the king’s family was dead and even though the king himself was surrounded by powerful mages, the archmage was able to assassinate the king. A series of events after that ultimately resulted in the city’s destruction.

The elven woman told Mark that it wasn’t an isolated case. There were more than a few cases and almost all of them resulted in the demise of the attacker of the archmage that was hidden amongst the group of traveling people.

Some of them were even made into famous plays so it was normal for cities to be wary of circuses like theirs especially if the mage hidden inside was blatant in the use of his or her powers just like what Mark was doing even though Mark still didn’t consider himself as an archmage.

Having the ability to summon a dragon and create a warp gate were already abilities that could be considered in the realm of archmages and that alone would make the cities they travel to wary of truly offending the circus.

Of course, they could still impose their rules on the circuses or traveling entertainers but nobody was willing to attack them until the hidden power inside those groups had nothing more to lose.

Mark understood then why Hamil asked him to allow Yoda to be used as the dragon roller coaster again.

At around eight in the evening, the circus had completed setting up all their attraction including the gaming tents although two of the gaming tents were for personal use. There were three theater tents and surprisingly, Linuel still set up the regular theater for his actors.

According to Linuel, the regular theater still had a lot of fans in cities and Melona was particularly fond of theaters and actors.

Mark also set up the coffee vending machine and he was happy that a lot of people from the circus were already well-versed in setting up and running the gaming cafes and the vending machine.

The next thing that the circus people were doing was building the stalls and stores that they would use to sell street food and souvenirs.

Milena’s Convenience Store was particularly large and according to her, this was because their client base would now consist of two cities, Narcone and Melona.

During dinner, it was only him and the kids who were eating since the others were busy setting up the circus. After a while, the children were asleep so Mark joined the others. He saw that the location where the Yoda Dragon Roller Coaster would be placed was already set up which was understandable since they only needed to build a booth where they could sell tickets for the ride so he summoned the Void Dragon and the people there immediately strapped the chairs that would hold the customer to the dragon immediately.

After that, he went to where Milena, Nedertu, and the others were setting up her Convenience Store, and this time, the building was partitioned where the back would serve as the warehouse so that meant Mark didn’t need to store the items that they would sell in a tent.

He saw that the stalls and stores that the circus was building were made of some sort of light wood that could easily be dismantled and he wondered where they got it. He just shrugged and began replicating the items they would sell in the warehouse.

Once the store was done, Milena and the others began filling out the display in the Convenience Store and Mark had to replicate the items again to make sure that the warehouse was full of items. They would still follow the rule that the store would only be open until the supply of items for the day lasted and once everything was gone, they would close the store to be reopened again for the next day.

After he had finished filling out the warehouse, the store wasn’t done yet so Mark returned to where the gaming café was set up to check if everything was running smoothly and they were.

When Mark checked the time, it was already midnight but the majority of people were still working.

The three elven sisters were checking the café as well since they still intended to act as the managers. He asked them what would be the operating hours of the circus in this city and Eilintraee told him that it was going to be ten in the morning until midnight.

The Warp Gate would be set up the next day, but it would probably take days before it was officially opened and allowed to be used by customers since the mages of the city of Melona needed to study it. The city would also send a delegation to Narcone to ensure that both cities agreed with the portal opening. Supposedly, the soldiers of Narcone and Melona would guard the gate jointly.

Once the warp gate was officially active, Eilintraee told Mark that the plan was to keep the gate open for one hour at ten in the morning and another hour at midnight.

After their talk, Mark was flabbergasted to see that the three sisters immediately started playing their Star Wars The Old Republic characters so without anything more to do in the gaming café, he returned to the RV to rest.

While walking home, Mark noticed that the scale of the circus was twice of that the one in Narcone, and more than likely, it was to make sure that a huge audience could be accommodated.

When he got to the RV, he took a bath and went directly to his bed to rest but before sleeping, Mark thought of his plan to create a warp gate back to Earth and invite his friends over. Once the warp gate was officially open, he would then establish the connection back to Earth.

He remembered that he left a bit of a mess there but he was sure that the mess shouldn’t be connected to his friends by the officials. He hoped that his friends were still living in the house that he gave them since he actually hadn’t been gone for a year.

Mark couldn’t wait to see what his friends’ reaction would be when they learned that they could be isekaid into another world and that world was a world full of magic and dungeons. The good thing was that they could go home to Earth anytime they wanted.

The next day found Mark in the place where the warp gate was supposed to be built which was between the dungeon gate where the Melona soldier barracks were built and the circus. There were three very powerful wizards from Melona watching from the side and there were tens of soldiers from the city as well.

Hamil, Lorendo, Nilfur, Zenethor, and Mosalan were also there watching so Mark cast the spell that created the Warp Gate. He then authorized the circus leaders to be able to control the panel that could activate the warp gate and he authorized Hamil to be allowed to assign up to six people to control the warp gate.

The reason for that was Mark didn’t want to bother controlling the Warp Gate and would throw the responsibility towards the circus leader.
