Once the Warp Gate was established, it looked like two ancient stone pillars sprang out from the ground. The portal of the gate would appear between the stone pillars and the reason the appearance of the gate was like that was more than likely, this location was previously an ancient site location. Looking at the control panel of the Warp Gate, the panel only contained two connections which were Narcone and Melona. Of course, Melona was grayed out since they were in the Melona location. Only the gate to Narcone could be activated.

Hamil already knew what to do since Mark had told him the authorized personnel had access to the control panel of the gate. He had also told the circus leader the fact that Hamil could authorize up to six people to access the panel.

The three wizards from Melona approached the Warp Gate and with a go-ahead from Hamil, began studying it. They retrieve several magical instruments from somewhere and focus on the gate.

Mark left them alone and allowed Hamil and the others to handle the bothersome bureaucratic process of allowing the gate to be activated. He didn’t leave though since he wanted to check what the wizards would do.

After several minutes, Mark still didn’t understand what the wizards from Melona were doing but suddenly one of them told Hamil to activate the gate.

“Once I activate it, we will need to go to Narcone so we can inform the council there that we’ve reached Melona since we also need permission from them to run the gate,” Hamil said to the wizard who asked to activate the gate.

The wizard then called a few people and Mark knew that in their talks, Melona would send a delegation to Narcone regarding the Warp Gate, and from what it looked like, they would join Hamil in talking with the council in Narcone.

Mark didn’t want to bother anymore so he left. He was sure that Hamil, as experienced as he was, would know what to do and if they really needed his presence, the circus leader would just ask someone to call him.

While walking back to the RV, Mark thought about dispelling the Warp Gate in Drovan Town since without the gate there, he wouldn’t be able to check the orphanage there but he remembered that Ms. Mary and Ms. Lucy and the Drovan Town’s mayor kept assuring him that the orphanage was fine and had been fine for centuries. He admitted to the mayor that he was a bit worried since the warehouse full of food that he donated could bring trouble to the orphanage but they kept insisting that they knew what to do. The things that he donated were only food and not some great treasure so no one would target the orphanage because of that.

When he arrived in his RV, the kids were not there and more than likely they were roaming around with their friends but he wasn’t worried since he knew that either Lisa or Norleen would be looking after the kids.

The twins were taking advantage of the fact that there would be no lessons from Rendira for the next two weeks since everyone needed to focus on the circus. Since no one was in the RV and it was still early, Mark decided to roam around the circus but since there were no customers yet, the circus felt empty.

Yoda was on the ground since they hadn’t received permission yet to allow the void dragon to fly around. Milena, Nedertu, and Lisa were busy with the Convenience Store and this time Milena was decorating the store lavishly. That meant that Norleen was the one looking after Liriel and the twins. Mark was surprised at the Star Wars theme decoration that was inside the store so he had an inkling that most of the store and attractions would focus on the Star Wars theme.

Mark then went to the theater tents and the trailers for the Star Wars films were already running on the huge television that was placed outside the first tent even though there were no customers yet. He thought that Hamil planned to run Star Wars Episodes IV to VI for a week then switch to Episodes I to III and a week after that, the circus leader would then switch to Episodes VII to IX and then start over again. He still didn’t know how long they would stay in this location but based on that plan alone, they could be staying here for months.

He also heard that Hamil and the other circus leaders would hold the Star Wars convention again but would wait until the citizens of Melona were hooked on the films. After checking out the theater tents, he went to the gaming cafes. The three elven sisters were busy leveling up their characters and the one who was assigned to manage the vending machine was watching them.

Mark remembered at first, that he told the elven sisters that the idea of the vending machine was for it to serve customers without anyone managing it and the only duty that the person assigned to manage the vending machine was to fill up the water and the ingredients once they were empty but the person assigned to the machine took his job seriously and never left the café. The other two gaming tents were empty since most of the circus people were busy and they would be scared to receive scolding from the circus elders if they slacked off and played the game. They were not the elven sisters who could do anything they wanted in the circus.

After that Mark visited the other acts like Dozon’s acrobat brothers, Linuel’s theater, the circus haunted mansion, Zenethor’s zoo, Norunta’s potion and fortune-telling business, and some of the others including Madam Luzviminda’s carriages.

Mark then went back to the RV to wait for the kids to return so they could have lunch. When the children arrived followed by Norleen, he prepared lunch for them and after they ate, they prepared bentos that they could bring to Milena, Nedertu, Connor, and Lisa.

Mark, the kids, and Norleen brought the bento boxes to the Convenience Store then he and the kids went to the gaming tent dedicated solely for them and Nedertu and his friends. The twins ran off first to call their friends over and after several minutes, the kids entered the tent.

The twins then started playing their characters while their friends watched the huge television that was connected to one of the computers. Mark and Liriel got bored watching the twins play while their friends watched so they both exited the gaming tent and went to where the Warp Gate was located to check the status of the portal.

Mark, while carrying Liriel, saw the gate was activated so he went where Lorendo was watching.

“What happened?” Mark asked the circus magician.

“Hamil, Zenethor, and Mosalan went to Narcone together with the delegation from Melona. Hamil would probably return after a few hours.”

Mark nodded and after a few minutes, he and Liriel went somewhere else. They went back to where the twins were and set up a laptop of their own so they could watch some children's series. As an experiment, he played the children's show Elmo’s World to check if Liriel would be entertained, and after a few minutes, Liriel’s laughter floated inside the tent garnering attention from the other kids so by request he connected the laptop that was playing the show to the television, and for the first time, every kid inside the tent was watching Elmo’s World. Even the twins stopped playing to watch with their friends and Mark wondered if he had made a mistake.

Mark was really impressed with his buddy Sam for including a very diverse type of media in his storage devices.
