Mark decided to let Milena rest and not cook their dinner that afternoon since she looked exhausted from selling the items in their stall. He missed his mother’s home country’s food so he replicated those for dinner. He replicated the traditional Chicken Adobo, Pork Sinigang, and Sisig and of course rice then for dessert he replicated some “Halo-Halo” topped with ice cream since those were currently the twin’s favorite desserts.

Since everything was hot except for the dessert which he asked Milena to put into the refrigerator, the aroma of the food woke the twins up.

“Mark, is it dinner already?” Isaac asked when he arrived from their bedroom.

“I’m hungry!” Aaron shouted.

“It’s still early but if you want to eat, let’s start dinner,” The moment Mark said that Nedertu entered the RV.

“Nedertu you stink!” Isaac shouted while his brother kept saying “Eew”.

“I know. Mark, can I use the shower real quick?”

Mark nodded then gave Nedertu some bottled liquid soap and shampoo and some loofah then told the cat man that he could take those items with him once he was done with his shower.

“Can we start eating now?” Isaac asked.

“Let’s wait for Nedertu.”

Mark kept the various foods in his inventory to keep them hot. Once Nedertu joined them, Mark retrieved the food then they started eating dinner. Everyone kept praising his food and Mark felt that that it should be. He was proud of the different food in his inventory since he only stored the very best that was cooked by top chefs.

Everyone was particularly hungry that night so Mark needed to replicate some more of the same food for them to eat. While they were eating their dessert, they heard a knock. Nedertu checked who was knocking and when the cat man saw that it was Hamil and Toby, their coach invited them in.

Mark replicated some more Halo-Halo and gave each one to Hamil and Toby.

“What can I help you with?” Mark asked the circus leader.

“Toby here told me that you allowed him to kill some of the monsters in the dungeon. We planned to put the power that he earned to his strength and agility for him to become either a warrior or a rogue just like me and just like my father before me but the boy insisted that wanted to be a mage. Ever since you arrived, a lot of the children wanted to be mages especially when you summoned your “Yoda” since they all wanted to be able to summon a dragon someday.”

Mark sighed when he heard Hamil calling the dragon Yoda.

“Okay fine. We’ll name the dragon Yoda.”

The twins cheered when they heard it but Isaac still gave a little complaint that it would have been better if it were Chewbacca which made Mark slap his forehead. Milena giggled and then mentioned that she was sure the twins would win the naming contest.

“Are you not willing for Toby to become a mage?” Mark asked after the interlude about the name of the dragon.

“Well, the kid kept pestering me to ask you to allow him to be your apprentice.”

Mark was startled.

“I’m sorry Toby. I’m only a circle-one mage in your magic system. I’ve only memorized some cantrips and some level-one spells. The other magic that you all see me casting is from my magic system which can’t be taught since it’s bloodline magic. My current teachers are the elven sisters so if you really want to be a mage, I’m guessing you have to find someone else to be a teacher since I’m not qualified.”

“I’ve told him that since Mentorra mentioned it to me once but he needed to hear it from you.”

“Well since I’m a beginner as well, we can help each other out as peers instead of teacher and student. Isn’t that better? We’ll be classmates instead,” Mark suggested.

The suggestion made Toby’s eyes light up.

“That meant that if I successfully applied as one of the elven sister’s students we’ll really be fellow apprentice! I can boast that the one who summons the dragon is my fellow apprentice!”

“We’ll leave you then Mark. I can see my son beginning to pester me to ask the elven sisters to be his teacher,” Hamil sighed.

“At least there’s still Deo who can follow the tradition of becoming a warrior or a rogue.”

Hamil sighed again.

“That boy also wanted to become a wizard and summon a dragon.”

The comment made everyone laugh except for Hamil who kept shaking his head. Hamil and Toby said their goodbyes and left while the twins asked if they could play outside. Since Milena told him that she would look after the twins, he relented to the twin’s request.

“How’s your adventure in the dungeon?” Mark asked Nedertu.

“Everyone was doing great. The fact that Sunetta was wielding a legendary item that would heal anyone and that she didn’t need to spend her energy gave everyone the confidence to fight fearlessly. It’s a good thing since that allowed them to earn more strength.”

“Are you still diving tomorrow?”

“Yes, we plan to keep dungeon diving until we leave the village.”

After his talk with Nedertu, Mark went outside the RV to go to the elven sister’s cart to ask questions about some of the things that he needed to know while they were in a dungeon. When he arrived in the elven sister’s cart, he knocked on their door and when he entered he was surprised to see that Hamil and Toby were inside as well.

Mark sat beside Hamil and listened to Toby asking the elven sisters to be his teacher. Mentorra then said to Toby and Hamil that they would need to consider it first. After that, Hamil and Toby left after giving Mark a nod.

“Mark, are you planning to continue your studies in magic?” Eilintraee asked after serving him a cup of tea.

“No, not yet. I’m still studying my magic since I’m on the verge of a breakthrough. I have some questions regarding the twins and leveling up,” Mark said.

The elven sisters looked at each other and then looked back at him.

After drinking a mouthful of tea, Mark continued.

“As you know, me and the twins and some of their friends went inside Culano Dungeon’s first floor. My intention was for a sight-seeing tour basically allowing my summons to fight the monsters while we watch on top of the floating disc. Toby joined us and he asked if he could kill one so I used a spell to hold one monster and allowed him to kill which made him level up. My question is, is it okay for someone as young as Toby or even as young as the twins to level up?”

After a bit of a pause, while drinking tea, Mentorra answered.

“As for every topic, there will always be a different school of thought but in my opinion, the best answer is it would depend. If my family is located somewhere that is prone to monster attacks, I would prefer that my children would have the power to defend themselves as early as they could but if I’m in a rich city being defended by a powerful army, I would like for my children to grow up happy and innocent as long as they could. My sisters have their own opinion on the matter.”

Mark paused a bit and considered what Mentorra said while drinking tea. He asked the sisters if they would like to have some snacks and they actually requested some pizzas.
