Mark continued floating towards finishing the 8th floor of the dungeon after looting the enemies of their drops. He stopped experimenting and just bombarded the enemies with all the spells that he could cast, killing them after usually casting 4 to 5 sets of Glacial Void, Void Chain Lightning and Void Tsunami. He didn’t even need to summon his Space Tower. He’d completely overpowered the monsters on the 8th floor.
After 5 hours, he was able to complete the floor then he went back to the 1st floor of the dungeon to store the items on the table there to identify them at a later time. The dungeon items were beginning to pile up and he couldn’t keep on procrastinating on Identifying them. In actuality, he wasn’t really interested on the dungeon items from the 2nd floor to the 9th floor since almost all of them were the same with just slight variation. Probably, the only interesting items that he would encounter on the first 10 floors would be from the 10th floor dungeon boss.
It was already 10 in the evening and Mark was really tired so he decided to take a shower and rest. He planned to spend all the earned stat points and skill points the next day.
When he woke up the next morning, the first thing that he did was to check how many skill and stat points he earned running the 8th floor of the dungeon. From what he could see on the System Interface, he leveled up from level 35 to level 39. The total stat points that he earned was 10. 4 from leveling up and then 6 from monster drops. The total skill points that he earned on the other hand was 12. 4 from leveling up and 8 from monster drops. Not only that, he actually received a general skill as well called Whisper. He added a point to it and it said that it would allow him to send a message to the intended recipient for up to 70 feet at the cost of 10 MP. Mark thought that was a nice way to communicate with party members.
Mark then added a point to Inventory Grid Control. It allowed him to separate up to 8 by 8 grid and use it for organizing items in his Inventory and it also triple the size of the individual grid. So basically what it meant was, before, he could only fit a single spear in a 1 by 3 grid but now he can fit 1 spear in a single grid and not only that, since the grid increased in size, he can lay up to 4 spears on a single grid side by side. Its not really stacking because they would not stack, they’re just side by side. He spent he remaining 10 skill points on Inventory and Replicate bringing Inventory up to 25 from 20. Its grids increased to 135 by 135 and the MP cost decreased to 1 MP per 15 kilogram of items. Replicate was the same with Inventory, leveling up to 25 as well, increasing the grids to 125 by 125 with an MP cost of 1 MP per 15 kilogram as well.

As for the 9 stat points. Mark put all of them in Intelligence, for more effective spells, and Wisdom, for more MP. He put 5 points to Intelligence bringing it up to 25 with now a damage multiplier of 5. Meaning, without the dungeon items, 25 intelligence multiplied to 5 was 125 and that would be the damage that would be added to spells as well the defense that would be added to defensive spells. Adding 5 points to Wisdom brought it up to 39 which increased his base MP to 780 and base MP regeneration to 17 MP per 5 minutes.
Mark was happy with how he spent all of his stat and skill points and with that out of the way he stood up and did his morning rituals. Workout, eat and shower, then he waited for Sam to take back the gadgets that he already replicated and stored on the 1st floor of the dungeon.
After Sam left, Mark headed down to 1st floor to Identify all of the items. When he was looking at all of the items, he decided to just keep all the magic blue mage cloth set and destroy the rest. He decided that he would just keep the set that the 9th and 10th floor of the dungeon drop, for party use, so that’s what he did. He did receive some crafting materials which he stored directly to the cabinet he assigned for crafting materials. He then Identified the magic blue mage cloth set to check if there were any better dungeon items than what he was wearing and unfortunately there were none so he destroyed them as well using Material Inventory Destruction.
With the clutter out of the way, Mark breathe a sigh of relief. Since it was still early, around 12 in the afternoon, he decided to take a walk outside for a breath of fresh air for a couple of hours to relax his mind. He rode his new Lamborghini and went to the nearest restaurant that he could find. While he was eating he received a call from Donald Dren.
“Hello Mark, can I talk to you at my office today?”
“Why? What happened? Did something happened to Elizabeth. “
“No, no she’s doing great. It’s just that a relative of mine encountered something…supernatural and thought that maybe you could help.”
Mark was flabbergasted. He only knew how to heal people and destroy monsters. He actually didn’t know anything about the supernatural.
“Are you talking about ghosts?” Mark asked nervously. He was actually a bit of a coward when it came to something like a supernatural horror like devil possession or possessed doll. Up until recently, he still couldn’t watch a horror movie like that, especially since he lived alone. It was different with games since you could just kill the monsters but could he kill evil spirits or ghosts?
“Actually…yes. Can we talk in detail at my office. My cousin is willing to pay.”
Mark paused for a bit and knew that it wouldn’t hurt to know more so he agreed and said that he would be there in an hour.
