The next day arrived and Robert, Danielle, Albert, and Mark entered the Void Gate to return to Earth. When they arrived there, they commandeered one of Donald’s men to bring them to the hotel where Robert and his family were previously staying.
Mark didn’t retrieve his phone from his inventory since if he did, he knew that it would be traced immediately.
During the drive to their hotel, Robert had been busy talking to someone over the phone, and based on the snippets that he had heard, it was about leaving for London using Robert’s private plane.
Robert then told Mark that it would take at least three hours before they could leave the States. When they arrived at the hotel, Mark followed Robert’s family to their room under the Invisibility spell after thanking the driver who drove them.
They didn’t do much in the hotel since they would be leaving in a few hours. Mark talked with Robert, Danielle, and Albert about dungeons and magic in general like the spells one could learn, although, Mark told them honestly that since he had his own system, he didn’t know too much about the spells that one could purchase from the magic shops in Veltun. He did tell them that he could learn the magic in Veltun as well but he didn’t bother too much since his own magic was powerful enough.
After a couple of hours, Robert received a call that their plane was ready so they traveled to the airport using one of Robert’s cars being driven by one of his employees in the States.
Apparently, Robert also had business in the States so he did have a house and several employees working for him here but they still preferred to live in London. Mark was amused when Albert talked to him using an American accent instead of his British one.
“When did you learn how to switch accents?” Mark asked the boy.
“I’ve been bedridden for a long time and I learn then from watching American shows and Marvel films,” Albert said.
“When we went to the States, we had to accompany him in several comic-cons. There he showed off his magic from the magic wand that you gave him while he was dressed as Harry Potter. He told everyone that the technology behind his wand was a secret tech that the British government had been hiding. No one believed him of course, but it was still amusing to watch,” Danielle said smilingly while shaking her head.
When they arrived at the airport, they quickly passed through customs through a special gate reserved for the ultra-rich who owned their private planes and to avoid any issues, Mark was under the Invisibility spell. He only dispelled the spell when they were up in the air.
While they were traveling, he told Albert and his parents about their journey with his friends before using an airplane and that the airplane had exploded.
Albert and his parents were horrified when they heard it.
“How did you all survive?" Albert asked.
“I carried all of them using my Telekinesis spell and we flew over to the nearest boat.”

“Does that mean that if our airplane exploded you will be able to carry us using Telekinesis?” Albert asked with his mother scolding him about thinking about their plane exploding.
“Honestly, I’m much more powerful now compared to before and we have several options other than me carrying all the people here using Telekinesis. If we have time before something like that happens, I can open a Void Gate and we can return to Veltun immediately. I can also summon Yoda and we can ride the dragon although that one might be tricky since Yoda is being used as a roller coaster in the circus.”
“That’s too bad. I would prefer to ride Yoda!” Albert said with Robert now scolding him telling him that he shouldn’t hope for the plane to explode.
Albert defended himself that he was only thinking that Yoda was the best for their rescue if something like their plane having an accident and not that he was hoping for the plane to explode. He told his parents that he could ride Yoda anytime he wanted by queueing at the Yoda roller coaster attraction in the circus.
After their talk, everyone rested since there would be several more hours before they arrived in London.
Mark thought about adding more skill points to the Void Dragon skill. He wasn’t one hundred percent sure but he was thinking that more points on that skill would increase the number of void dragons that he could summon. He was also guessing that even if that were true, it would probably cost a lot of points before a second dragon would be added so he held off on using his skill points.
They arrived in London without experiencing any issues and Robert’s employees assisted them in going to their townhouse in London. Mark was honestly expecting that Robert’s house would be some sort of a palatial building but was surprised to see how modest it was. He did learn that it was only one of their houses and it was one of the smallest ones that they only used because it was the nearest to Albert’s school.
Even though they considered their house in London small, it was still huge compared to the other houses in the neighborhood, and even if Mark, the twins, and Liriel stayed there, there were still a lot of unused rooms.
They arrived in London at around three in the morning and based on that, the time in the place where they were staying in Veltun followed the time in California.
Mark knew that it would be hard getting used to the time difference between London and Veltun so to avoid confusing the circadian rhythm of the kids, he would probably ask them to stay in London during school week and only go home to Veltun during the weekends.
He would probably need to stay with the kids at first to make sure they’re comfortable. There were several servants in the huge house which was understandable given how large the mansion was and Robert assured him that all of the servants were discreet and even if they saw some form of magic, they wouldn’t say anything to any outsiders.
Mark doubted that but he didn’t care about that anymore. Since there’s a chance that if anyone did tattle, their audience would probably not believe them. People were currently very materialistic and one would rarely find someone gullible enough to believe in the supernatural.
Robert assured him since more than likely, all of the servants had seen some form of magic already from Albert using the wand that he gave the kid before. He then introduced Mark to everyone in the mansion and the master of the house told everyone that he was a valuable guest and should receive the utmost respect. He told the servants that Mark and his three children would be staying in the mansion indefinitely and should be treated just like Robert and his family.
Mark was amused since he never had any dealings with servants before. It felt so old-school but as an American, he was a bit averse to the concept. He knew that it was because he was poor that’s why he had that belief since the rich in America did have servants as well.
Albert and Danielle were already resting since it was already the wee hours of the morning. Robert then led Mark to a wing in the mansion that consisted of four suites and told him that the three rooms were assigned to him and his kids while the fourth one would be where he could establish the Void Gate. Robert then told Mark that he would talk to him about hiring a tutor and their stay in the mansion once they had adjusted after that Robert left to rest.
