Chapter 274

Chapter 274

Inside Mark’s home which was the recreational vehicle that he had replicated, he decided to complete his chores first and that was to use his skill Inventory Item Restoration to clean and restore all of the dirty clothing belonging to the twins, Nedertu and Milena.

Mark didn’t have any dirty clothing himself because all of his clothes were just replicated ones from his inventory. So basically, that was his only chore plus destroying all the used plates and utensils and after that, he decided to complete the spending of his skill points on his spells since there was a good chance that he would not be interrupted until dinnertime.

He opened his interface and checked his remaining skill points and it stated that there were twenty-six skill points left. Mark made all of his summoning spells like Bush Golems, Tree Golems, Forest Guardians, and Protectors of the Forest level five. That meant that he spent two skill points on Bush Golems, two skill points on Tree Golems, four skill points on Forest Guardians, and five skill points on Protectors of the Forest for a total of thirteen skill points. He held off in putting skill points in the last summoning spell under the Plant Mage in Gaia’s Disciple skill tree. Now he only had thirteen skill points left.

Now Mark turned his attention to the attack spells under Plant Mage. It was important for him to have a few attack spells under that tree since it synergizes with his summons from the Plant Mage tree.

The first spell that Mark would like to increase was Abyssal Thorn Forest since it was a high-damage spell with an area of effect and damage over time effect. It was currently level one so he added four skill points to the spell.

Level five Abyssal Forest had damage of one hundred and fifteen per second for five seconds in a sixty by sixty area of effect and range of up to seventy feet. It had an MP cost of eighty MP. Since the spell was under Gaia’s Disciple, even if it were an area-of-effect spell, all of his plant summons would not be affected.

The next spell that he added skill points into was Abyssal Thorn. It was currently level three so Mark only added two points to the spell. Its damage was now four hundred per thorn and with three thorns, the spell would pack a serious punch. It had a casting cost of seventy MP and its range remained the same at seventy feet. Now he only had seven skill points left.

Since he only had seven skill points left Mark added all of it to his most basic but one of the most useful spells that he had which was Telekinesis. Level one Telekinesis was equal to one kilogram of weight at one MP per second within five feet. Additional skill points would increase the weight to two kilograms per one MP within ten feet and since weight was adjustable based on the MP used, that meant that he would be able to lift greater weight with great distance and it would consume much less MP.

He wondered what was the limit of his Telekinesis weight-wise. He could do the math but it was going to be extensive so he would rather do a practical test but he would need an object with large enough weight. Mark decided that the first test that he would try his spell Telekinesis on was lifting his RV and checking how long he could lift it while flying with Floating Sunflower active.

Now he had no skill points left so he turned his attention to his stat points. Mark had only five stat points left so he added them to Wisdom bringing his MP to around base fifteen hundred. It did point to the fact that he would need to rush to dungeon level thirty so he could grind better items to increase his MP.

When Mark was level one, the help section stated that it would add twenty MP per stat but obviously it increased but he did not bother to find out at which level it increased and for how much per stat. The important part was the total MP and to increase his MP as soon as possible so the next skill points that he would earn could be added to his most powerful level ninety spells.

As of right now, the only level ninety spell that he had was Void Dragon but it was all right since his lower-level spells were now more powerful due to the added skill points.

Mark was happy with how he spent his skill points and his stat points so his next step was to increase his level and get more powerful items from his dungeon. But first, he went outside the RV to test his level ten Telekinesis with Floating Sunflower active.

He cast Floating Sunflower and to not alarm anyone, he lifted the RV just a foot from the ground and checked on how long he could lift the RV. He was surprised that his MP was still full since Floating Sunflower was regenerating his MP fast enough that the MP consumption of his Telekinesis was being offset. It excited him since that meant that he could travel using Flying RV which of course he wouldn’t do since it meant that he would have to focus on concentrating using his spells while traveling instead of doing something much more productive like dungeon diving but still, a flying RV was a great option.

Mark also noticed that he would need to cast Floating Sunflower all the time while using Telekinesis in lifting the RV and knew that it would get tiresome if he needed to do it all the time but again, having that option was great and not only that, the Telekinesis spell also had great application in battles but he knew that the main reason why he increased the level of Telekinesis was its application for having fun.

Mark didn’t know when his focus shifted from growing more powerful and being able to traverse dimensions to having fun with his new family and friends but he liked it. Instead of his expectation of a life full of blood and gore, he was now living a life full of fluff. Now he had to protect this life by becoming more powerful which was ironic.

The twins came running from somewhere together with the multitudes of their friends.

“Mark we promised our friends to treat them with Ice Cream since they didn’t believe us when we described it as one of the best food that ever existed!” Isaac shouted.

Mark laughed but told everyone that they could only have one mug of ice cream since it was near dinner and too much ice cream could ruin their appetite.

He then distributed mugs of Rocky Road ice cream to the twins and one to each of their friends and Mark was happy to see that everyone was enjoying the ice cream that he replicated. Seeing happy children was making his heart full.

Nedertu and Milena arrived and saw that the twins and the other circus children were eating something delicious so they asked some from Mark and he obliged them by giving them mugs of Rocky Road ice cream.

After that treat, the children ran away again to continue playing while Milena told Mark that she would prepare their dinner and he just nodded while Nedertu said that he would check how the dragon seat project was doing.
