Mark went directly to the computer gaming tents while the others headed directly to their RVs to begin the planning for diving into the dungeon. Robert and Donald also told Mark that they would begin creating a list that they could purchase from Earth that they could trade for mana stones that they could use to purchase spellbooks.
Albert was jumping up and down trying to reign in his excitement at the prospect of selecting a spell that they would purchase even though the kid didn’t have any idea what spells were available for him.
As per Mark’s advice, Robert and Donald would head to Hamil’s to talk to the circus leader about which items they could use for trading.
When Mark arrived at the gaming tent, the crowd queueing up to purchase the tickets for the café was extraordinarily long, and as usual, they were all idle youths. They were all wearing excited faces bordering on fanaticism. He was highly amused at the thought that he could start a religion anytime using Star Wars as the core beliefs.
Solinae was at the rest lounge doing some sort of accounting so Mark went to her.
“Solinae, I can now add computers until the maximum number is forty so we need to ask the players to leave for a least an hour.”
“When do you plan to do this?”
“I know it’s a bit inconvenient but right now is the best. My friends Sam and Blake already added servers and optimized them. They also optimized the programming for the game as well.”
“That would be good since it would make the game world more populated. I remember you telling us that in your world, a famous MMORPG could have hundreds of thousands or even millions of people playing at the same time, and imagining the game world with that kind of population astounds me.”
“Yes but if you could see servers that they were using which were as huge as a building, you would understand how complex managing an MMO with that kind of population.”
After their talk, Solinae went to her two sisters who were playing, and told them of Mark’s decision to increase the number of computers. So the three of them began approaching the gamers to inform them that their gaming would be interrupted for an hour. At first, everyone complained but when they heard that the number of computers would increase everyone went out of the tent excitedly.
Mark immediately replicated the computers and with the three sisters' assistance, completed the setting up of every one of them within an hour. It was easier for them since all the programs needed were already installed. He was just basically copying the already existing and functional computers in the tents.
Mark was glad that when the tent was constructed, Hamil already planned it to be large enough to house a huge amount of computers so the forty computers still didn’t make the huge tent feel cramped.
“That looks good. Everyone would be pleased at how much more mana stones we would earn. We have a huge customer base now since it consists of two cities but they’re complaining about our rules of a maximum of four hours of game time and that they could only play once every day an increased number of computers would alleviate their complaint somewhat,” Eilintraee said.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“Are there so many rich young people?” Mark asked, surprised at how the young people could afford to spend so much for gaming.
“A third of our customers are adventurers so they do have the means to earn the mana stones but the majority of our repeat customers are idle, rich young men and women and their expenditure didn’t actually increase and was just diverted to us. The limit we placed also pacifies those businesses that would have been affected if we allowed the customers to play for longer hours like the taverns and the brothels,” Mentorra replied.
Mark understood and was glad at the wisdom of the elven sisters. After making sure that every computer was working perfectly, they invited the gamers back and a lot of people were happy that their time to play came earlier than expected due to the increased number of computers.
Mark then left the gaming tents and proceeded to go to the cinema tents to check the situation there. The huge crowd purchasing the tickets made him glad since it signified that the Star Wars movies were popular even with the citizens of Melona. While he was checking the people, he saw Hamil, Lorendo, and Nedertu rapidly walking toward him wearing excited faces.
“What’s going on?” Mark immediately asked when the they reached him.
“Your friends, Donald and Robert asked us for advice on which items they could trade for mana stones. We couldn’t understand some of the items that they were describing so they thought of inviting us to visit your world so we can check them out,” Hamil said.
“They said that they could even invite us to visit Disneyland Park in California. They said that it was one of the most famous theme parks in your world with rides and stuff,” Lorendo said and Mark was amused to see the magician visibly trembling with excitement.
Mark thought for a bit and the three people didn’t interrupt his musings.
“Okay, we can go ahead and visit my world as long as you don’t do anything that will attract any attention. Robert and Duncan are extremely powerful and influential people in my world so we should be safe. I suggest that Hamil should bring his family, that means Halinda and your two kids so you can visit my world as a family. Lorendo and Nedertu can come as well and I’ll bring my kids and Milena and Lisa or Norleen to assist me in taking care of the kids. That meant that we should plan a longer stay at least a minimum of three days,” Mark said after thinking deeply.
“I can come even though you told me that there’s no beastmen in your world?” Nedertu asked, highly surprised.
“You don’t understand my world, Nedertu. In the place where we live, it’s teeming with people who are fans of movies and animes and when they see someone like you, they would just assume you're wearing a costume heading to a Comic-Con or a costume party. We could even give an excuse that your costumed presence was there to entertain the kids.”
Hamil, Lorendo, and Nedertu gaped at him and Mark laughed.
“Are you saying that your people are just like our customers?” Lorendo asked and Mark answered affirmatively.
“Let’s go and meet Robert and Donald so we can plan our vacation to Earth,” Mark said and he was beginning to get excited as well.
He hadn’t been to Disneyland for quite a while and he also wanted to roam the shopping malls again and increase his inventory of things that he could replicate. He wasn’t worried about money since the extremely rich Robert and Donald were there and he could just trade some of his weapons and armor that was rotting on the first floor of his dungeon for money.
Besides, according to Donald, his identity as Mark Baker was still alive and well and his accounts were still in good condition since Sam, Robert, and Donald made sure to keep them alive, which made him extremely grateful.
Even those government officials who were dealing with him assumed that he was just in hiding to rest since they were aware of what he had done all over the world but just kept his secrets since Mark assumed that those officials knew that he would be back and would still like to maintain a good relationship with him due to his power.
