It was still early even though the kids were already asleep so Mark went outside the RV. He saw that Sam, Blake, Armina, and Enleed returned from their dungeon dive in Narcone.
“Hey guys, I need to tell you something,” Mark told his friends.
They all sat down on the table and he replicated a bunch of pizzas and sodas for everyone.
“I removed the Warp Gate in your basement and transferred it to a safehouse that Donald’s selected from one of his properties.”
“Why?” Sam asked.
“The government found me and wanted to meet with me. So instead of further involving you guys, It would be best to separate myself from you. Earth is not my home now. This world is where I would be spending the majority of my time and would only visit Earth to update my things.”
“Sam told me what happened between you and the government. I was nervous the whole time expecting the story about you to become dark like the government capturing you for experimentation but he said that until the time you departed from Earth, your relationship with the government remained amenable,” Blake said.
“I didn’t want to have a chaotic life so I cooperated with the government fully back then and I knew that the moment they turned on me, I would have the capability to escape. I almost went too wild since I thought that it would take hundreds of years before I could return to Earth. At least when I let myself go before I departed, the only thing I did was heal people all over the world, and based on what Donald and Robert had told me, the countries where those people were healed attributed what happened to some sort of religious miracle.”
“What about now? Are you still planning to cooperate with them?” Armina asked.
“Yes. As long as they make sure that they do everything that wouldn’t hurt any of you.”
“What kind of cooperation are you planning to do with them?” Enleed asked.
“For now, I was thinking that for one day a month, I would allow them to bring people to me to be healed and I would let them experiment on me to their heart's content. Who knows, maybe it would help them develop some sort of super drug that would allow them to cure any sickness or allow people to live longer.”
“Aren’t you afraid that they would use the time that you cooperated with them to capture you like using drugs or maybe using explosive collar or something like that?” Sam said worriedly.
“If something like that happens then I will know for sure and will not wonder anymore. I would probably be okay because I’m truly very powerful. Once something like that occurs, I will just disappear and would visit Earth using some other identity. The problem is, as my friends, you and your family will also be greatly affected and I apologize for that.”
“it doesn’t matter to me. We will deal with that if it happens. Even if it happens, I wouldn’t change anything and would always be grateful that you included me in your fantastical adventure. When we were just otakus dreaming of magic and other worlds, weren’t we always planned how to handle something like this to the point that all of us wanted to write some form of light novel about transmigration so we could realize our plan on paper but we didn’t go ahead with it since none of us are talented enough to become authors?” Sam said and looking at the others' faces, they agreed with Mark’s best friend.

“I know but still thank you. So how was your first dungeon dive?”
“We reached level three and earned enough mana stones that all of us bought spellbooks in the city,” Armina said.
“We also checked the available weapons and armor but the ones that we’re using right now were way better than what we saw,” Enleed said.
“I’m glad that the items are helping you a lot.”
“Honestly, your items are overpowered and when we described my sword to a merchant saying that it was a weapon we saw before, the merchant was amazed and called it a “legendary” item,” Sam said.
“Definitely. Basically, we are doing very much better than regular adventurers since as a wizard, during an encounter I can cast a very limited number of spells and after the battle, I have to spend several minutes memorizing the spells again but with your items, we can continue combating several groups before we needed to rest and refresh our spells. That’s also the reason why we didn’t let anyone join our party since they would probably question our ability and we may be targeted by greed because of the items that you gave us,” Blake said.
“Who’s acting as your healer?” Mark asked.
“It’s Enleed but he was just using the Mace of Healing that you gave us before if needed but to be honest, we haven’t needed it even just once.”
“I want you all to be safe so I’m going to lend you my staff. It’s a mythical staff that not only can heal but you can summon an archangel to battle for you and even resurrect a newly dead party member. I prefer that you use it only for emergencies,” Mark handed the Staff of Vikander to Enleed.
When Mark told them the details of the staff, his friends gasped.
“It’s truly overpowered but it’s good to have insurance. I almost wish we didn’t have something like that since I wanted to become a true adventurer and I felt that I could only do so if I learned how to survive worrying about death during every battle,” Sam said.
“Well, I would prefer to have the staff as insurance,” Enleed said.
“To be honest, me too. That’s why I said “almost”,” Sam continued.
“Do you have a lot of mythical items?” Enleed asked.
“I have a few. My items are categorized as Mythical Orange, Legendary Purple, Rare Blue, Magic Green, and Normal White. Most items that you can find in stores here are Normal White or at most, Magic Green. During high-end auctions, you might find some Rare Blue items but Legendary Purple and Mythical Orange could be considered as national treasures. I once showed that staff to Hamil and he told me I could build a large castle and live a very rich life with that staff so don’t show it to anyone.”
“Maybe we shouldn’t use it?” Enleed said worriedly.
“Don’t worry too much about the staff and just carry it inside the storage ring I gave you. If you’re worried about that item I still have a mythical sword and shield and I didn’t even know their details since I haven’t identified them before. I wasn’t interested in them since I’m a mage and I have no need to sell them. Do you want to try them out?” Mark asked Sam.
“If they would allow me to sweep the monsters without any problem then no. The dive would be too easy and we would get comfortable with the idea that dungeon diving is an easy task and that could be dangerous for us in the long run. Once I feel that I’m powerful enough and collected enough funds, I will go ahead and buy them from you,” Sam said.
All of them laughed since the idea that Sam would be able to collect enough funds to be able to purchase a mythical weapon and shield that were supposed to be as valuable as a huge castle and enough funds to live a single person’s life in luxury was ludicrous.
