Night arrived and the circus set up for their night camp beside the road. Nedertu informed Mark that they would arrive in the next village the day after tomorrow. Milena went and set up her kitchen out in the cart and then started to cook their dinner while Nedertu assisted him.
Mark remembered he wondered if there was a chance that Nedertu and Milena would be together but when he asked Hamil about that the caravan leader said that there was little chance of that since the age gap was huge that Milena almost looked at Nedertu as her son and Nedertu would probably prefer a beast person for his mate based on his past relationships.
The RV was summoned by Mark and he and the twins went inside to wait for dinner.
“Mark, can we watch a movie tonight?” Isaac asked.
“Sure, what do you want to watch?”
“I want to watch something new,” Aaron said.
Mark then thought of an experiment. He remembered the phenomenon that almost caused his ears to rot. The song that came from the animated film Frozen was repeated by children so many times that he almost began to hate the movie but now he wondered if the children would be the same in this world. Maybe he had some masochistic tendency, but he planned to let the twins and their friends watch it tonight and check if they would also be addicted to the song Let It Go.
“Go tell your friends right now that you will be watching a new animated film and you’re inviting them since they were your friends. I expect you to be back before Milena served the food, otherwise I’ll cancel the film showing.” Mark told the twins jokingly, but the kids treated it seriously and ran out of the RV fast to tell their friends.
After several minutes, the twins came back just as Milena and Nedertu entered the RV carrying the food that Milena cooked.
“Mark, we told our friends that we will watch a movie after dinner so they should all be here after about an hour!” Aaron said excitedly.
“Okay then so let’s eat so we can prepare the cart,” Mark said.
The twins ate so fast that Mark had to scold the boys to eat slowly since there was enough time. After eating the delicious dinner that Milena prepared, Mark went outside the RV and since the night was clear and the weather was fine, he decided to set up a huge television and speaker outside instead of inside the cart then he set up some comfortable chairs for the children.
Hamil arrived and saw what Mark was doing and asked him what he was planning to show.
“The twins asked me if they could watch a new movie and I said yes, and they invited their friends. In my country there’s this animated film that was really popular and the songs from that movie were so well-liked by children that they kept repeating it. I want to check if it will happen here as well.”
“Can we watch as well?” Hamil asked.
“Sure! I’ll start in thirty minutes, but they have to bring their own chairs since the chairs I prepared are for the kids.”

The crowd in front of the television grew but Mark just shrugged and ensured that the speakers’ volume was high enough so everyone could hear the film. After thirty minutes, he told Hamil that he would start the film so Hamil made a loud announcement that the movie would start and for everyone to quiet down.
Mark joined the kids in watching the film and he sang the song while Elsa was singing, which prompted the twins to shush him.
After the movie ended, he asked the kids if they liked it and they all shouted that they did. Mark then asked everyone to help him clean up, which everyone did by bringing the chairs to him while he kept them in his inventory to be destroyed.
Once everyone was cleaned up, Mark went inside the RV together with the twins, Milena and Nedertu for some late-night snack, and unsurprisingly, Hamil joined them. He replicated some pizzas and sodas, and everyone ate while discussing the film.
“I like the song, I wish we could hear them without needing to watch it, so we don’t have to bother you all the time Mark,” Isaac said.
“You can bother me anytime. But since you want something to listen to, I have a solution.”
Mark was glad that he stored a copy of an old-school iPod in his inventory. He remembered asking his best friend on Earth to find him a brand new one and after testing it, it was forgotten in some corner of his inventory. He replicated a couple of iPods and wired earphones to give to the kids. He guessed he could do the same thing with a smartphone and Bluetooth wireless earbuds, but an iPod and wired earphones would last longer.
After the iPods were replicated, he copied the popular songs from Frozen and the most popular theme songs from Star Wars from his laptop to the iPods then taught the kids how to operate it which was simple enough that the twins managed to learn it without any issues.
They were so delighted to hear the songs from the device that the kids hugged Mark fiercely, which made him think of some of the people's comments about him that he was being stupid for being overly generous. Mark didn’t care. The happy faces of the kids validated the fact that it's okay to be generous as long as you have so much, and you have the power to protect your riches.
Hamil, Milena, and Nedertu looked interested in the device as well, but Mark didn’t offer anything to them and just waited.
Hamil rolled his eyes and then asked Mark for one iPod to check it out. Mark laughed then replicated one, copied one song to it, and allowed Hamil, Milena, and Nedertu to test it.
“The quality of the sound is so good it’s like I’m listening to an orchestra in an enclosed stadium!” Hamil praised.
“How many songs can that small device hold?” Milena asked Mark.
“Thousands upon thousands of songs and a fully charged iPod listening time is up to thirty-six hours. You will need to charge a drained iPod for three to four hours in an electrical socket,” Mark answered.
Hamil gave the iPod back to Mark after the three tested it.
“That’s a mighty device. You can listen to music while working and you can control the volume so you tune out the world if you want to or make the music volume low enough so you can still hear the surrounding noise. And with its capacity, music will be endless.” Hamil praised the iPod again.
“Do you know that device is phased out already in my country? Meaning it’s no longer available since its technology is already considered outdated,” Mark boasted and that statement prompted a gasp from Hamil, Milena, and Nedertu.
“Your country is awesome. Why did you leave?” Nedertu asked.
“There are some extenuating circumstances that I can’t share right now,” Mark made some excuses and changed the subject.
“Mark, can I have that listening device? You don’t have to pay me for how long the price would cover that device.”
“Sure, I’ll let you have it and will not pay you for three months, is that okay?”
“Yes, thanks so much. Can you put in the songs from Frozen and Harry Potter as well as some songs from Star Wars? And some of the songs from the other movies that we’d seen so far?” Milena asked although it was clear that she was very embarrassed about her many requests.
Mark laughed and told her that he would give the iPod to her once the songs she requested were inside it.
