Mark was woken up again by the twin's shouts outside his door.
“Mark wake up! We want to see the dragon fight,” Isaac shouted.
“I want to fly high above the sky riding the dragon!” Aaron shouted.
Mark sighed and left his bedroom to go to the toilet.
“Kids quiet down it’s so early!”
“Hurry up. You’re the only one who hasn’t eaten yet,” Isaac whined.
Mark shushed the kids again and went to the toilet to handle his business. After that, he joined Milena and Nedertu at the breakfast table while the twins kept on pestering him.
“Are we not leaving the camp today?” Milena asked.
“No. Hamiil decided to stay here for a couple of days so the halflings and the dwarves can build seats that can be tied to the dragon for a dragon ride attraction for the circus,” Mark said.
“How does it work?” Milena asked curiously.
Mark took his laptop and showed the video clip of the roller coaster ride that he had shown to the others the night before. Nedertu and the kids joined Milena in watching the video clip.
“That looks so fun! I want to ride that as well!” Isaac shouted.
“Unfortunately for you, only kids ten years old and above can ride the dragon coaster. How old are you both now?” Mark teased the twins.
“We’re six and a half but I’m sure Hamil will let us ride the dragon since we own it. Maybe the customer will follow that rule but we don’t,” Aaron said seriously.
Mark was flabbergasted by Aaron’s statement and realized that the twins were beginning to have a sense of entitlement due to them being a part of his family and the advantages that they have received for them being so.
“Hey, that’s bad! If there’s a rule, you must both should follow it regardless of who you are. There’s actually no age limit rule. I just made it up as a test for you and both of you failed. That meant you’re both disqualified from joining the naming contest,” Mark said sternly to the twins.
“Now we can’t name the dragon! Stupid!” Isaac hit Aaron’s head.
“I’m sorry but don’t hit me!” Aaron hit Isaac's head as well.
“Hey no hitting. Even if you join, you will not win anyway since I’m sure you will submit either Chewbacca or Yoda as the dragon’s name.”
Isaac gaped at what Mark said.
“How did you know that I will submit the name “Yoda”? Did you cast a spell?” Isaac asked wonderingly.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Mark laughed so hard when he heard Isaac’s question and Milena and Nedertu laughed as well.
After breakfast, they all went outside to check out the dragon. It was waiting beside the RV and a lot of the circus people were already surrounding it. The dragon was more magnificent in the morning light. Its silver scales were gleaming like jewels and the smokey gray aura just added to its mysteriousness.
He wondered if it needed to eat so he checked the help section beside the Void Dragon information on his Skill Interface.
It stated that the dragon would exist even if he traveled to another dimension and left the dragon in another dimension, meaning that even if he dungeon dive and left the dragon with the circus it would still exist which brought relief to Mark since the dragon would be a formidable defense for the circus in case something happened while he was dungeon diving or away.
Mark was thankful that his system interface was a bit intuitive regarding his need for information. Even though it doesn’t have sentience or artificial intelligence, it would still answer his questions through the help section.
Regarding the dragon’s need for food, the help section stated that his MP would decrease equal to the amount of the reserve MP in a day which was negligible to Mark since that amount of MP would regenerate rapidly especially if he cast Floating Sunflower. At least he didn’t need to feed the dragon although even if it required physical sustenance it would not have been a problem for Mark since he could replicate any amount of food but the dragon needing his MP which was more direct made it much easier.
Mark saw that the halfings were measuring the dragon and based on talks they had last night, they should be measuring it for the straps they would attach to the seats that would be tied to the dragon.
Unfortunately for the circus kids, they couldn’t play with the dragon due to the work the halfling and the dwarves were doing but they were still watching the dragon since just like everyone else, they were fascinated by the mythical being.
Mark noticed Hamil, the elven sisters and some of the others were watching the dragon as well and he could see the caravan leader’s greedy and proud expression. Mark thought that maybe Hamil was imagining the glory and coins the dragon would shower the circus with.
The twins ran towards their friends and Nedertu and Milena went somewhere. The elven sisters went toward him when they saw him.
“That dragon is a truly wonderful summon Mark and I can’t wait to test its mettle in battle later,” Mentorra said.
“So, you’re joining the battle? Who else would join?”
“It would be me, Hamil, Dozon, Barak, Lorendo, and Norunta. I will attack using my bow and magic, Lorendo will use magic for offense, Norunta will be our healer and the rest will be our warriors. We will start once the halflings are done with their measurement.”
“I can't wait to see that fight. Again, don’t hold back. It’s okay for the dragon to be destroyed but I will ensure that the void dragon will not give fatal damage.”
The halflings took about a couple of hours of measuring before they left and then some of them went to the forest with other people to gather wood to create the seats for their dragon roller coaster project.
When the circus children saw that the halfings and the dwarves were done, they ran towards the dragon and began climbing its back.
“Mark let it fly, let it fly!” Isaac shouted when he saw that his friends were already at the dragon’s back.
“Children get down from there! There will be a huge battle between the dragon and the circus warriors and we will all watch!”
The children got excited when they heard Mark’s statement and they all jumped down the dragon’s back.
One kid even got a broken bone when the child jumped down but Norunta healed him right away.
“Mark we saw a clearing not far from here. We will all go there and start the battle.” Hamil said to Mark.
Everyone followed the caravan leader and Mark commanded the void dragon to follow them which it did by walking. He thought that the way the dragon walked was so funny and he saw the wins agreed with him since they couldn’t stop giggling while watching the dragon follow them.
