After their fun vacation to Mark’s 21st-floor Oasis Paradise, they continued with their journey to the city of Melona. Mark decided to distribute his unused stat points. He had 80 unused stat points. Right now he had 95 base Wisdom so he immediately added 5 stat points to the stat. His base MP climbed to 2600 and his base MP regeneration went up to 50 MP every 5 minutes.
Mark then looked at his base Intelligence stat and it was 70 so he added 30 points to the stat and his spell effect multiplier climbed up to twenty times.
He was glad to see his base Intelligence and Wisdom stats were now 100. Mark now had remaining unused 45 stat points. He thought about spreading it to his other stats but kept them for emergencies instead.
Mark thought about assigning his skill points but decided to review his spells again first. He thought about his other skill tree specifically the one for crafting and decided to check the situation first once his friends from Earth joined him.
In the meantime, they should arrive in the city of Melona in about two weeks but first, his alarm for his boss dungeon’s cooldown sounded meaning, the bosses spawned so he farmed some items from them which took him around two hours. He managed to get several blue, purple, and one mythical item but kept them on the first floor of his dungeon to be identified at a later time.
The main reason why Mark was ambivalent about the new items was because he felt that he was powerful enough for now but knew that it was just an illusion. Besides, he already separated all the items that he received based on which floor it was from and that meant that once he didn’t feel lazy anymore, he would identify the ones from the 50th level floor and replace his current setup with them but he wanted to complete a full mythical set first from the 50th level and right now the only mythical items that he had from that floor were the still unidentified sword and shield.
The latest mythical item that he received which he let remain unidentified was from the 10th floor so basically, it was low-level.
After a week he would farm the bosses again and he already set up an alarm for that on his phone. This time he wanted to farm the bosses as soon as they were available since they were now his only source of items.
During their stops in different towns and villages, Mark kept giving out free candies and treats to children, and even the twins and Liriel got into the action by acting as his assistants. It was so funny to him how the children and their parents reacted to him and if he had any nefarious intention he could have easily brought it out to fruition but Nedertu actually disagreed with him. According to his driver, the children and their parents only trusted him because they knew about their circus.
The giving out of candies wasn’t really a bother since Mark only did it for two hours each time they stopped at a village or a town.
Milena and the others though still opened their stall but she only did in large towns.

After a few weeks of travel, the circus finally arrived in the city of Melona. Mark was doubly excited since this was also the place where he decided to connect the warp gate back to Earth.
Hamil told him that they were not allowed to set up the circus inside the city but just outside it. The good thing about it was the location where they would set up, which was beside the only dungeon near the city of Melona. The Melona Dungeon was a massive one with over 200 floors. The floors also varied but not differently since according to Hamil, the floor would still retain the characteristic of the dungeon floors being in a cavern. The only differences that one would encounter with some of the floors were the different flora and fauna, the monsters, the light, the humidity, and the temperature.
The Melona dungeon though would still provide its divers massive opportunities since it had been in existence for thousands of years meaning the accumulation of mana stones and magical items from dead adventurers were as numerous as the stars in the sky.
The entrance to the dungeon was also heavily guarded by the city since the city was earning a huge amount of wealth from the taxes that they received from the divers. Not only that, the powerful adventurers who were able to dive deep into the dungeon would inevitably circulate the riches that they had gotten from the dungeon to the city merchants.
Since the city treasured the dungeon so much, there was a massive barracks constructed beside it and it was always filled with soldiers from the city.
Fortunately for their circus and other large entertainment acts for that matter that would set up beside the dungeon, because of the presence of the Melona soldiers, the place was incredibly safe.
When they arrived beside the dungeon, Hamil and the others didn’t allow them to set up the circus first because the circus leaders would need to meet up with the city officials regarding the contents of their circus and Hamil would also open up the need to establish the warp gate that could connect them to the city of Narcone.
It would probably take several hours or even days before they were allowed to establish the gate and that was after the city mages investigated the portal just like what happened with Narcone.
They arrived in Melona at around 10 in the morning and Hamil and the other circus leaders went to the city soon after to speak with the officials. They only returned after a whopping seven hours and that was only to set up the circus and not to establish the warp gate yet.
Once Hamil and the others arrived, everyone got busy and since the circus members were incredibly experienced, after two hours, the circus was set up and even Yoda the Void dragon roller coaster was set up.
Hamil asked Mark to allow the dragon roller coaster to run since they could use it as a draw and also to establish the circus’s power. They knew that the truly dangerous thing that the circus was facing was the interest that the warp gate would garner.
They were not innocent naïve people. The Warp Gate’s Economic and Political Potential was gigantic and anyone would be tempted to take it or to control the Warp Gate builder for themselves. One tactic they had thought of was to make sure to let everyone know that the builder of the warp gate was a very powerful dimensional archmage since being an archmage alone was a deterrent already and having a tag as a “dimensional” archmage was doubly so since it would be extremely difficult to capture such a being.
What Mark found extremely strange was that everyone treated it as normal for archmages to be in a circus and Nedertu explained to him that ever since the beginning of the history of this world, it was normal for some incredibly powerful beings to be found inside traveling merchants, minstrels, and circus and once an organization or a city discovered that such being was inside a specific group of people, they would try their best to not offend such beings since based on history, it wasn’t worth it to go to war with someone very powerful and not tied down to a city or an organization.
