Another trick was the flight direction of the Mechanos.

The five Mechanos were flying towards the nests of five Dark Demon Beasts.

The Shadow Deathers had mentioned in their earlier conversation that they feared the “Thunder Wizard” would damage other Demon Beasts Nests.

Noland Lee precisely targeted this concern of theirs, deliberately directing Nolin to control the Mechanos to fly towards the Demon Beasts Nests.

Doing so would undoubtedly make the Shadow Deathers anxious and restless, leading to severe misjudgments.

Sure enough, the Shadow Deathers tailing the Mechanos cursed quietly and stopped in their tracks to write letters once they figured out the “Thunder Wizard’s” flight direction.

They had to request more and more assistance from the City of Exiles.

Otherwise, the considerably sized Demon Beasts Nests stood at risk of destruction by a bunch of nonsensical “Thunder Wizards.”

The Shadow Deathers sought help from the defending forces of the City of Exiles, the battle group under the command of the city lord, called the “Shadow Deathers’ Vigilance Group.”

The Vigilance Group had roughly 700 regular combatants.

Two-thirds were Extraordinary from the Shadows Faction, and one-third were Shadow Series Combat Wizards.

The lord of the City of Exiles was named Mobius Soler, an Eighth Ring Shadow Series Combat Wizard, and also the leader of the Vigilance Group.

The defensive system of the City of Exiles did not include patrolling the surrounding areas. noveldrama

In other words, the combatants of the Vigilance Group would not actively leave the city to patrol the Dark Zone unless ordered.

Such patrolling duties were usually performed by the Shadow Death Wanderers, who gathered magic materials.

The Shadow Deathers currently pursuing the “Thunder Wizards” were referred to as Shadow Death Wanderers.

They excelled in tracking, hiding, exploring, and gathering, mastered simple Shadows Faction Spells, and were adept in hit-and-run fighting.
