Chapter 1374

Chapter 1374: 451. Virtual Reality_2

“I understand,” Noland Lee typed:

“So, you’re saying that all creatures and non-creatures conjured up could indeed be virtual creatures created by the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core, right? These virtual creatures serve as innumerable eyes through which the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core observes the objective world. Is that correct?”

“That’s mostly correct, but I need to correct one point,” “Command” typed, sending a chill through Noland’s heart:

“You might have underestimated the power of the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core.

“You just said that the virtual creatures we see could have been created by the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core. The word ‘could’ introduces an error and should be replaced with ‘definitely’.”

“Definitely?!” Noland’s heart skipped a beat:

...

“Are you saying that all virtual creatures we know of are created by the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core? Does that mean we are always under its observation?”

Upon further thought, Noland realized a problem and promptly asked:

“Wait, I think there’s an issue. Look, the ‘Wizard’ Plane Core definitely appeared after the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core. The ‘Wizard’ Plane Core has created many magical creatures that only appear in literature.

“According to what you just said, aren’t all these magical creatures created by the ‘Wizard’ Plane Core actually the handiwork of the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core? Would the ‘Wizard’ Plane Core be oblivious to this?

“In other words, if the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core could interfere with the creation of virtual creatures by other Plane Cores, wouldn’t it have unified all the Plane Cores by now?”

Noland patted his chest and continued:

“Look at me, the Plane Core behind me is definitely not ‘Virtual.’ Yet, I can still conjure virtual creatures and depict them in writing or drawing. How would you explain this?”

Noland’s questions seemed to be within “Command’s” expectations.

“Command” typed calmly:

“Yes, you are correct. However, the dominion of the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core over any virtual creature is predicated on the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core still being alive.”

Noland was taken aback and suddenly realized:

“Are you saying that the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core is dead?”

“Yes,” “Command” replied:

“When a Plane Core dies, its powers are dispersed into countless parts, shared among all living creatures. This includes Plane Cores that appeared later than ‘Virtual,’ such as the ‘Wizard’ Plane Core you mentioned. Of course, it includes you and me as well. The ‘Starry Sea’ game that I created also utilizes abilities shared by the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core.”

This was the first time Noland had heard about what happens when a Plane Core dies.

So, when a Plane Core dies, its powers become ‘public property,’ available for anyone to use.

It was hard to imagine what kind of powers would be shared by the many Plane Cores behind the Dark Deities if they were to die…

Noland furrowed his brows in thought.

“Command” guessed what he was thinking and added:

“The powers of a Plane Core are divided into core powers and general powers.

“The general powers from the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core enable living creatures to have the desire to create virtual creatures.

“Its core power is what drives creatures to modify reality, making real-world objects resemble virtual creatures, constructing bodies for virtual creatures in reality, and ultimately projecting virtual creatures into the real world.

“After a Plane Core’s death, only the general powers are shared, not the core powers.

“With ‘Virtual’ deceased, people only possess the desire to create virtual creatures, not the overpowering urge to project them into reality.”

Noland then nodded in understanding and looked at the first line of text that “Command” had typed, asking:

“Since the ‘Virtual’ Plane Core is already dead, why then would you say that the Plane Core behind the Metal Creation Group and the Metal Ancestor Dragon is it? Can a dead Plane Core still manipulate and scheme behind the scenes?”

“Command” was silent for a few seconds before typing:

“The core of the plane can resurrect after death. This process is extremely slow, perhaps taking tens of thousands of years. The ‘Virtual’ core of the plane behind the Metal Creation Group must have just resurrected recently… but…”

“But what?” Noland Lee asked.

“Command” wrote:

“But ever since the establishment of the Supreme Star Palace, whether it’s a newly born core of the plane or a resurrected one, they have appeared in the Inner Cosmos, not in the Outer Space. If a resurrected core of the plane appears directly in the Outer Space, then there’s only one possibility.”

Noland Lee’s eyes narrowed slightly as an answer surfaced in his mind; he took over the conversation and said:

“This means that the ‘Virtual’ core of the plane hasn’t resurrected. The core of the plane hiding behind the Metal Ancestor Dragon and the Metal Creation Group is actually a disguise by the Extraterrestrial Eternity, right?”

“Yes, that’s exactly what I mean.”

“Command” wrote:

“I don’t know how ‘Virtual’ died. But I estimate that it was killed by the hands of Extraterrestrial Eternity. Extraterrestrial Eternity spent a long time and finally merged with the core privileges of ‘Virtual.’ They are now driving the Metal Creation Group to project virtual creatures into the Real World. Synthetic humans and synthetic animals, these products of synthesis techniques, are just preliminary products.”

This explanation made many things clear.

Why did the Metal Ancestor Dragon want to dominate the Inner Cosmos?

It was because the Inner Cosmos contained the Sacred Fire.

Controlling the Sacred Fire was like controlling the key to other plane cores and extraordinary entities, which was essential for projecting virtual creatures into reality.

Although it’s unclear how Extraterrestrial Eternity found the opportunity to brainwash the Metal Ancestor Dragon, from the current situation, only the conclusion provided by “Command” fits most realistically.

Continuing with this conclusion, it’s understandable why the Metal Creation Group needs the bodies of the players.

It probably targeted the players for their immortality and ability to resurrect, hoping to decipher the players’ secrets, control the vulnerabilities of “Command,” and then launch an attack on “Command” to obtain a large number of experimental subjects that could be recycled.

“Command” is at the very center of a stormy whirlpool.

According to Noland Lee, they might as well give up clean, lock up, and turn away visitors.

Shutting down the ‘Real World’ where the players are, blocking the Great Gate, and making the players disappear from the Outer Space.

Once this wave has passed, they could then continue to use the players to collect Soul Energy.

This would be the safest method.

Of course, it would be best if “Command” could help Noland Lee squash the Metal Creation Group before adopting this defensive strategy, thus completing his main task in the Outer Space.

With this thought in mind, Noland Lee planned to take this opportunity to encourage “Command” to join him in tackling the Metal Creation Group.

But before Noland Lee could organize his words, he saw that the core of “Command” took the initiative to write: noveldrama

“I think it’s necessary to warn the Metal Creation Group and also probe the existence behind the Metal Creation Group to verify whether their identity is really an impersonation by the Extraterrestrial Eternity.”

Noland Lee raised an eyebrow and typed:

“So what do you plan to do, do you need my help?”

The core of “Command” replied:

“I’ve noticed the extraordinary items you arranged in the animal warehouse have very strong invisibility capabilities. This might help provide me firsthand information on site. If possible, I hope you can do this…”

“Command” typed out dozens of lines on the game interface, elaborating its plan.

As Noland Lee read, he pondered.

After five minutes of deep thought, Noland Lee decided to follow “Command’s” suggestions.

“No problem, your plan seems feasible. I’ll start making a planet-destroying level Magic Bomb right now.”
