Chapter 1048

Chapter 1048: 326. Peerless Secret_3

Omar Goddard asked:

“You must be very puzzled as to why ‘extraterrestrial space pollution,’ as you call it, frequently harasses your world, right?”

Noland Lee silently nodded, raising his hand to point and cast thunder and lightning that struck a Demon Wizard not far away.

The Demon Wizard was hit by the thunder and lightning on his back, his back remained unharmed, but his head suddenly exploded.

Ultimately, the Grey Wizard who had been fleeing for three minutes died in the midst of a ‘Psychic Bombardment.'”

Noland Lee gathered the Spoils of War, listening to Omar Goddard’s words.

...

“You might have guessed that the extraterrestrial space pollution is attracted to the Fire of St. Dillan, but the reality is a little more complicated than you think.”

Omar Goddard said:

“Do you remember the Titan tradition I mentioned?

“When we exercise and advance, we must leave our homelands and bathe personally in the Radiance of the Fire of St. Dillan.

Noland Lee nodded slightly.

Omar Goddard said:

“The so-called ‘Outer Space’ is an entity independent from the Inner Cosmos, separated by a man-made chasm. All ‘extraterrestrial space pollution’ when seeking to elevate themselves and advance to higher levels, must pass through the ‘Star Filtering Net’ to enter the Inner Cosmos and bathe in the Radiance of the Fire of St. Dillan.

“If one cannot bathe in the Radiance of the Fire of St. Dillan, then no matter how diligent and hardworking they are, they cannot gain even the slightest bit.

“The Pollution Zone we are currently in serves as a ‘Teleportation Gate’ that extraterrestrial space pollution has carved out in the Inner Cosmos. Once the Pollution Zone matures and turns into Magic Relics, the extraterrestrial space pollution behind it can consistently, stably, safely, and freely bathe in the Radiance of the Fire of St. Dillan from within the Inner Cosmos. This will allow those in the Outer Space to continuously grow and develop.”

Noland Lee’s expression changed slightly:

“The Ulnas Circle has discovered no less than a hundred Magic Relics. Could it be that behind these hundred-plus Magic Relics, there exists an extraterrestrial space pollution? And they all can use this method to bathe in the Radiance of the Fire of St. Dillan?”

“Unfortunately, that is indeed the case.” noveldrama

Omar Goddard said:

“The master of this Pollution Zone is not Blood Binder Zudak, but a Constellation Level Extraterrestrial Void Force called the ‘Dark Divine Cult.'”

“This extraterrestrial void force possesses a book called the Dark Book, which contains extraordinary revelations, chronicling all the past events, names, and resurrection ceremony requirements of the Dark Deities.

“The ‘Dark Divine Cult’ aims to resurrect these Deities and take control of them.

“The ‘Dark Divine Cult’ has cooperated with the Grey Wizards to open a Pollution Zone in the Dark Zone called ‘Bustling Tunnel.’

“This Pollution Zone has two purposes.

“One is to channel the Radiance of the Fire of St. Dillan to the ‘Dark Divine Cult,’ and the other is to resurrect the Binder of Blood, Zudak, as recorded in the Dark Book.”

Noland Lee gradually digested the information.

Omar Goddard never referred to himself as a deity, nor did he use that title to refer to others.

However, the Assassin Angel did have this “fondness.”

So, the information Omar Goddard was conveying should be what the Assassin Angel had told him.

Omar Goddard candidly admitted:

“The Assassin Angel shared these pieces of information with me, along with many things I hadn’t anticipated. Please forgive me for being unable to disclose more at the moment. After you fulfill the content of the contract, I will tell you all of it, I promise.”

Nolin had gathered the Spoils of War while the two talked and handed them to Noland Lee.

Noland Lee took the Magic Pouch and fastened it to his waist, then casually took out a set of Magic Robe to wear.

After pondering for a while, Noland Lee sighed quietly and resolutely declined:

“Sorry, Omar Goddard, but I cannot accept your proposal. I have always only done things when I’m fully confident. I can’t accept the uncertain factors after being wrapped in bloodstains…”

Omar Goddard said:

“Your astuteness and caution impress me, kindhearted Wizard. Then let me tell you one more secret, this is my greatest sincerity.”

“Oh? Let’s hear it.” Noland Lee listened attentively.

Omar Goddard said in a steady tone:

“The Assassin Angel must have mentioned ‘Destiny’ to you.

“In our Giant Clan, the destiny of each one is controlled by the ‘Patriarchal Giant.’ He imposes on us the shackles of reproduction, conquest, pain, weariness, and death.

“The mating of Giants and the growth of the young Giants are filled with bitterness and fatigue, not the happiness and sweetness perceived by mankind.

“Breaking the shackle of ‘reproduction’ allows one to advance from an ordinary Giant to a combat Giant, henceforth free from the trivial matters of reproduction.

“Subsequent breaking of ‘conquest,’ ‘pain,’ and ‘weariness’ allows one to advance to a sentinel Giant, fearless Giant, and sleepless Giant, respectively.

“Only the ‘Patriarchal Giant’ as the master of the destiny of the Giant Clan can break all five shackles and become an Eternal Giant, living forever, and standing at the pinnacle of the Giant Clan forever.”

Noland Lee furrowed his brows.

He had not expected that the Giant Clan also had a notion of destiny shackles.

The Assassin Angel once said:

“The weaver of destiny imposes five shackles on living creatures.

“Death, aging, sickness, disaster, suffering.”

Exactly five shackles, no more, no less.

The destiny of mankind is such, and so is the destiny of Giants.

If the ‘Patriarchal Giant’ controls the destiny of the Giants, then who controls the destiny of mankind?

“I can help you break your first shackle, that is, ‘death’.”

Omar Goddard said startlingly:

“From then on, you will have the opportunity to break free from your destiny’s trajectory.”

Noland Lee couldn’t help asking:

“You can help me break the first shackle?… Then who placed this shackle on me?”

Omar Goddard paused for a few seconds, lowered his voice, and whispered:

“I can only tell you once, otherwise it will hear us.”

Noland Lee held his breath.

Omar Goddard continued:

“It’s the White Ancestral Dragon in the Spinning Continent that wove the destiny of all mankind. This is what the Assassin Angel told me. In theory, upon the death of the White Ancestral Dragon, all the fate shackles of mankind in this world will be broken.”

Noland Lee took a sharp breath and his heartbeat quickened.
