Chapter 1132

Chapter 1132: 350. Plotting in secret

“Sir, a group of Pure Light Wizards just appeared around us. They must have seen our Mechanos,” Nolin communicated through the Voice of the Mind.

Seated in his temporary dwelling within Revival City, Noland Lee nodded while eating a fruit platter prepared by Denise Green and said,

“Hmm, I know. I noticed them when they got close to the ‘Tracking Mark’.”

Noland Lee spat out a grape seed and shifted his attention to the Mechanos that were suspected of being discovered by the Pure Light Wizards.

These Mechanos had disguised themselves as a secret squad posing as Sea Monsters.

They navigated the convoluted underground area and finally stopped by the gloomy and eerie bank of the Underground River.

...

Glass bottles, beakers, the Magic Craftsman Table, and the poorly concealed Deep Sea Magic and Sea Monster scales, became the tools for this “Sea Monster” group to study the Underground River Water.

They fiddled with the River Water with apparent expertise, as if trying to replicate the methods used by the Undead Cult in their large-scale transformation of the Underground River.

This was the task that Noland Lee had assigned to this group of Mechanos.

With an obsessed demeanor, they ignored the lurking Pure Light Wizards and completely immersed themselves in their research of the River Water.

There were several teams like this one, but this was the first to attract the attention of the Pure Light Wizards.

This brought some inspiration to Noland Lee.

“Nolin, since the Pure Light Wizards have discovered the Sea Monsters in the Underground River, let’s call all the other Mechanos here as well,” Noland Lee said.

“We could certainly use the complex terrain of the underground area to trap the Pure Light Wizards who are tracking the Sea Monsters inside.”

“Yes, sir,” Nolin responded.

Noland Lee added,

“But be careful of the Undead Cult.”

“Understood, sir. I’ll be careful,” Nolin replied.

Nolin began directing the other Mechanos to move underground.

Noland Lee glanced at the Magic Vision in his mind, where various teams were entering the Underground Area through the city sewers.

Turning his attention back to the Mechanos feigning research by the Underground River, Noland Lee felt satisfied.

The creation of such a team was not just a whim.

He himself was very curious about the Undead Cult’s transformations of the Underground River, and thus incidentally used the Mechanos to collect information about it.

Among the Death Magic he had learned, there was a special spell called “Death Energy Water.”

This spell could transform pure Death Energy into a liquid form with all the properties of a liquid, essentially making an unstable thing into a more stable form.

If Noland Lee wasn’t mistaken, the Death Magic used by the Undead Cult to transform the Underground River should be similar to “Death Energy Water.”

The two likely had a relationship where the latter was modeled after the former.

This was because the “Death Energy Water” spell was developed by Professor Dekart based on his research into the results of the Undead Cult.

If the Sea Monsters planned to transform the Deep Sea Environment in the future, seeking help from the Death Herald Guild might be feasible as well.

Noland Lee’s eyes flickered a few times as he realized this was an aspect he could exploit.

“Sir, that group of Pure Light Wizards has returned,” Nolin alerted through Mental Magic.

Noland Lee snapped back to attention, looking at his Magic Vision.

These fellows had thrown out an “Illusion Light Technique,” concealing their figures in an Invisibility Status, but they were unable to hide the energy fluctuation of the “Illusion Light Technique” itself.

Noland Lee instructed the detection-type Mechanos Nolin had placed underground, and they easily found the trail of the Pure Light Wizards.

Noland Lee counted the number of Wizards in the Magic Vision and involuntarily raised an eyebrow.

10 Wizards.

There were 10 Pure Light Wizards on-site.

Including Jay Spade and Lamont, there were only 11 Pure Light Wizards in the entire Revival City, and now 10 were here.

Oh boy, that was surprisingly easy.

But on the other hand, the anti-detection pressure at the site was significant.

Among the 10 Pure Light Wizards, the lowest was at the level of Five Rings, and the highest at Seven-Ring.

If they got near the Mechanos, they would surely Detect the latter’s Disguise.

“Nolin, have the Mechanos avoid those Pure Light Wizards, and make sure they are not broken through our Disguise. I’ll go meet Jay Spade now; buy me at least three minutes,” Noland Lee spoke as he got up, casting Illusion Magic on himself, took out anti-detection Mechanos to protect himself, and flew off using a Flight Spell.

Nolin complied, maneuvering the underground Mechanos to contend with the Pure Light Wizards.

Noland Lee passed through the window crack to the outside, flying towards the house where Jay Spade was located while internally calling out, noveldrama

“Your Excellency, Jay Spade is alone now.”

“Hmm, take me to him,” the Assassin Angel placed a “Divine Power Rune” into Noland Lee’s palm,

“Besides, use this rune to cover your tracks. Jay Spade has something from the Metal Ancestral Dragon, and there’s no telling if he might have some special detection techniques.”

Without a word, Noland Lee poured Soul Energy into the “Divine Power Rune” in his palm, activating it.

“Veil of The World” instantly spread over his body, enveloping Noland Lee securely.

The System sent a message, indicating that “Veil of The World” was effective, and Noland Lee could be immune to all detection methods for a short time.

Noland Lee dispelled the Illusion Magic and Anti-detection Magic Barrier on himself and, with a whoosh, increased his flying speed, flagrantly passing over the city skies.

Upon arriving above the destination, he reversed his flight direction, plummeting straight down the chimney of the house.

As soon as he entered the territory of the house, a series of System Text refreshed in his mind.
