Chapter 1273

Chapter 1273: 410. Game Pollution

“Boom—”

The meteorite accelerated towards the satellite, shards flew and dust filled the air; Noland Lee simply imagined the sound of the impact in his mind.

Anyone who had used a meteorite to bombard a planet knew the immense impact force it could deliver.

On this basis, Noland had also used Earth Rock Magic to strengthen both the hardness and the flight speed of the meteorite.

Within a second after the meteorite collided with the ground, several Passive Deconstruction Results surfaced in Noland’s mind.

He had successfully used this method to detect an underground presence without raising any alarm.

...

[Passive Deconstruction Successful!]

Apart from the Deconstruction Results of six Senior Dark Priests, Noland had also acquired some unexpected information.

[Name] Seeding Drone Mothership

[Level] Special Predation Ship

[Features]

Super large drone combat cabin: with a volume of two thousand cubic meters, it can accommodate 400 light drones.

[Drone Status] noveldrama

The ship is equipped with 100 Black Falcon Reconnaissance Drones, 100 Bald Eagle Combat Light Drones, and 20 Ostrich Sentry Drones.

[Threat Level] Slightly below average

Based on the Deconstruction Results, there seemed to be a rather large underground dock hidden beneath the surface shattered by the meteorite.

In the underground dock, a Seeding Drone Mothership was docked along with three Golden Eagle Combat Escort Ships with strong maneuverability.

The threat level of the combat escort ships was also classified as “minor” to Noland, not worth mentioning.

However, it was the Seeding Drone Mothership marked “slightly below average” by the System that made Noland cautious.

One needed to understand that in the diverse strata of Outer Space, seemingly technological ships might be harboring some mysterious and dangerous weapons.

The damage Noland could inflict on the drone mothership was very limited, and currently, he couldn’t discern what sort of trump card the enemy might possess.

This forced him to be careful, then more careful still.

As for those six Senior Dark Priests and a host of Intermediate and Junior Dark Priests, they were likely the crew of the four interstellar ships.

They were also the armed force guarding the underground dock.

“Logically, drone motherships like this should only unleash their full power after being deployed on the ground level, right? So if I engage them underground…”

Noland’s eyes twinkled as he rapidly conjured up a battle plan.

After the dust settled on the ground, Noland came up with an idea.

He raised his right hand, palm facing himself, and traced the blueprint of a spell.

An invisible current of air swirled around him; Noland went from being a skeleton clothed in a Magic Robe to a gaseous form.

He descended to the ground, seeking the crack created by the meteorite impact and then morphed into a stream of air to slip in.

About three minutes later underground, Noland groped his way to the metal outer shell of the dock.

His body turned into fumes, spreading along the metal shell in all directions.

This was a Wind Spell called “Fumes Illustration.”

By sensing changes in the airflow, the outer contours of large underground structures could be inferred.

Soon enough, the model of the underground dock materialized in Noland’s mind.

The overall shape of the dock resembled a horizontal crescent moon.

The four ships were nestled in the crook of the crescent, like little babies cradled in their mother’s arms.

When the tips of the crescent moved aside, a large fissure would open on the satellite’s surface, forming a secret passage for ships to enter and exit.

Without a doubt, this was a highly concealed space facility built within the small satellite of Lisom-14.

It was truly extraordinary for the Dark Divine Cult to construct such a sizable space outpost in such a remote star system; it must have cost a considerable sum.

Noland found a gap in the dock’s outer shell and infiltrated it once more in a gaseous state.

What he saw before him shifted from a dark, dirt environment to a dimly lit metal corridor.

Noland spread his fingers, releasing streams of air from his fingertips. He employed Clint “Windhawk’s” signature detection spell to swiftly search the underground dock.

Noland pondered to himself as he referenced the results of his detection:

“The Dark Priests are inspecting the drone mothership, all of them concentrated on the ship; no one has been left on duty in the dock.

“Hmm… There’s no plant cultivation eco-cabin in the dock, and the food in the warehouse’s repository consists solely of solid nutrient solutions.

“This indicates that this underground base must rely on logistics ships that regularly deliver supplies to operate stably and continuously.

“If that’s the case, there should be a log specifically documenting the logistics ships’ flight schedules. Let me find it…”

After some searching, Noland located a frequently consulted pile of books in a spacious and comfortable bedroom in the top level of the dock tower.

Among these books was a logbook locked with a fingerprint lock, precisely what Noland was looking for.

Noland snapped his fingers towards the position of the logbook, casting the “Knocking Technique” from a distance to forcibly damage the lock core and thus flipping open the log.

Every three months, a cargo-specific shuttle would arrive from the Dark Divine Cult’s Main Camp to bring supplies to the dock.

Tomorrow was the day for the supply delivery.

A top-grade priest from the Dark Divine Cult’s Main Camp would also arrive here by shuttle tomorrow for inspection.
