Chapter 928

Chapter 928: 290. With a hidden meaning_2

“She said she’s willing to help us deal with the flow rate problem of the Magic Relics. If we’re willing to explore the Magic Relics she designated, then we only need to give her one-third of the Spoils of War,”

Denise paused, took the Magic Pouch hanging on the coat rack, and pulled out a piece of Letter Paper:

“Here, take a look, Noland. These are the Magic Relics that she wants us to explore. Whatever Spoils of War we bring out from these ruins, we can keep two-thirds of them. Professor Lamp also promised me that she won’t take away any Spoils of War related to the Sub-dimensions, so as not to conflict with our purpose of exploring the relics,”

Noland Lee took the Letter Paper and sat up straight.

The first step was, of course, to initiate the Deconstruction Technique on the Letter Paper.

The Deconstruction Results showed that the Characters on the paper were all written with a Magic Pen.

...

Secondly, the content on the Letter Paper could be regarded as information provided by “Lamp”.

As everyone knows, several major problems must be solved before exploring the Magic Relics.

Where are the Magic Relics.

How to enter and leave.

What dangers are in the Magic Relics.

The Letter Paper written by “Lamp” with a Magic Pen provided the answers to these questions.

And the main content of the letter introduces five Magic Relics distributed on the Kashel Continent.

“So detailed…”

Noland Lee, holding the Letter Paper, sighed lightly and then asked:

“Did you buy this with Rebirth Magic Power?”

Denise rested her head on his shoulder and said:

“Ah, I knew I couldn’t hide it from you. Yes, I spent 1000 points of Rebirth Magic Power to buy this information. Otherwise, the Professor would have only provided the rough locations of the Magic Relics. Just finding those relics would have taken us a lot of time.”

Denise kissed Noland Lee on the cheek: noveldrama

“You’re not upset with me for spending Rebirth Magic Power recklessly, are you?”

Noland Lee shook his head:

“Not at all, not at all, as long as you keep enough for casting and Meditation. These 1000 points of Rebirth Magic Power were well spent; they will indeed save us a lot of effort.”

Denise giggled and asked:

“So, which Magic Relic shall we go to?”

“Let me think…”

Noland Lee fell into thought.

Essentially, Magic Relics are unstable Sub-Dimensional Planes.

They originally existed within the Natural World as realms.

These realms ultimately failed to resist extraterrestrial space pollution.

A very mysterious Power exiled the realms completely overtaken by extraterrestrial space pollution from the Natural World.

The exiled realms became what are now known as the Magic Relics Sub-Dimensional Planes.

The Wizard Advancement Association hasn’t figured out what this Power is.

It could be the operating laws of the Natural World itself, or it might be related to the nearly extinct Dragon Clan.

For example, out of the five Magic Relics displayed on the Letter Paper, the one with the greatest danger and largest area is called the Amisha Magical Ruins, also known as the ‘Soulbound Abyss’.

It is located in the Eastern Region of the Kashel Continent within the Amisha Magic Kingdom.

Its influence even extends from the Sub-Dimensional Plane to the Natural World, covering the entire territory of the Amisha Magic Kingdom.

Inside the kingdom, the Black Sun Phenomenon occurs periodically.

Whenever the Black Sun occurs, the extraordinary power of the ‘Soulbound Abyss’ will seep into the Natural World, randomly selecting “lucky” individuals to extract their Souls from their bodies.

This extraordinary phenomenon is one of the major research subjects of the Wizard Advancement Association.

Within the Amisha Magic Kingdom, there are always one to four First Level Magic Research Institutes stationed year-round.

Logically, such a nationwide disaster should be enough to bring down a kingdom.

But in reality, it’s not the case.

The bodies of those whose Souls are drawn out by the ‘Soulbound Abyss’ crystallize at the same time their Souls leave, turning into large chunks of magic crystalline materials, which can be used to manufacture Soul Containers.

Thus, the Amisha Magic Kingdom has become one of the main sources of raw materials for Soul Containers.

There, people always carry at least three Soul Containers to protect their Souls on the day of the Black Sun.

Those protected by Soul Containers are generally not taken by the ‘Soulbound Abyss’.

In the Amisha Magic Kingdom, only death row inmates are not permitted to carry Soul Containers.

Death sentences there are carried out through the Black Sun.

The Wizard Advancement Association’s exploration into the ‘Soulbound Abyss’ is very limited; they only know how to enter and exit, as well as the dangers of the outermost layers of the Sub-Dimensional Plane.

No wizard has ever deeply ventured into the heart of the ‘Soulbound Abyss’.

The other four Magic Relics appearing on the Letter Paper, while not as daunting as the ‘Soulbound Abyss’, are still daunting entities that many wizards fear.

They are:

One:

‘Wriggling Feast’.

A large Sub-dimension filled with Bearded Worms, located in the heartland of the Kagarl Magic Empire.

The Bearded Worms would move from their Sub-dimension into the Natural World, appearing in the corpse dumps of the Kagarl Magic Empire to plunder the corpses of humankind or animals.

Because of the Bearded Worms’ extremely rapid growth rates, as well as the Sub-Dimension’s accelerated time flow, the Kagarl Magic Empire has never been able to completely conquer the ‘Wriggling Feast’.

Two:

‘Shattered Labyrinth’.

This Magic Relic is of great research value.

It is a Medium Sub-dimension, whose body continuously transforms into a maze.

The front of the Maze, the Floor, and the Ceiling are composed of random periods and locations from the Natural World.

Explorers who can withstand the spatial tearing during each transformation of the Maze could glimpse into many historical events of the Natural World.

This Magic Relic is located in the Forest of Dawn, managed by the Pure Light Court.
