Toy Story and Walmart

Toy Story and Walmart

Toy Story

You’re going to be behind in life, some of you, are light years behind,

But that’s not the point, everyone, is somewhere, in the matrix,

Everyone, is a virgin to someone,

That’s not the point, the focus, of your journey,

Its to keep progressing, onwards, onwards,

Towards the horizon, the turning, of the wheel,

Discover yourself, from the deepest depths,

To our father above, what is god,

Just be ready, for the next episode, of mortality,

There’s always something ahead, the roller-coaster, goes up and down,

Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.

The merry-go-round, just keeps going around,

Do it enough times, maybe the universe will expand,

Choices, choices, so much freedom,

Keep dreaming, of heaven, of everything,

So much beauty, how much, will allow you,

To be a part of it, don’t be lame,

Keep trying, you can do better,

Are you trash, meant to rot, in that dirty box,

Saying to yourself, I am god, I am god,

Just a simulation, just a simulation,

So fucking embarrassing, I’ve always assumed,

That things are meant to naturally progress,

But some of you could be chicken breast,

Just food, meant to be consumed,

Look above you, there is a god,

Oppenheimer, reduced to atoms,

So much virgin energy, doomed to explode,

Man, you gotta earn your ticket to Barbie,

You should try to be funny,

Fresh and breezy, its Sunday,

What was I talking about, I don’t know,

I have to go shopping, by the way,

Have you ever seen your neighbors,

Bringing in groceries, stuck in the matrix,

Will anyone help me, everything is a test,

Maybe, you’ll fail it again and again,

Hopefully, maybe, entropy, will at least take me.

Walmart

This poetry has gotten me too high,

Contain it, is it all a lie,

McDonald’s and French fries,

Walmart, my weekly groceries,

Donate a dollar to a good cause,

Like I'm not the one in need,

Why do you think I'm writing all this poetry,

Don't you see, its because I'm touch-starved and horny,

I'm poor and in desperate need of money,

But whatever, I'll get by,

Damn, I love being a normal guy.
