Moral Compass
Why do you want to know the way so bad,
Little girl, no one knows the way better than you,
Its who you are, who you want to be,
Your desires, your selfishness,
The path is ahead, you know it best,
I'm not going to lie to you,
I would follow Little Red Riding Hood to the end of the world,
You could also be more than that,
It doesn’t change my advice,
But I could offer a supplement,

You could go higher,
You could get heavier,
You could be a mountain,
All you'd have to do,
Is keep doing baller things,
Winning, and winning,
Solidifying, your ego,
That you’re an eagle,
A hunter, a tiger, a dragon,
Or you could go East,
Gather wealth, spiritual sustenance,
Wisdom, the answer, to so many,
Of the world’s answers,
You could go West,
Search for magic,
The cyberware conglomerate,
Or you could let go of everything,
Fall further and further,
South goes a long way,
Digging, always digging,
Incorrect, misguided,
Heaven is the other way,
You could still go,
Stay for the feast,
Doomed, to never see,
The sun again,
Just a suggestion,
I’m also a little greedy,
You could offer me your soul.
Yellow-Brick Road
Not to be lame,
But if you’re lost,
You don’t know the way,
You decide, ask someone,
They could know, better than me,
Just as a rule, a tip, from an old man,
If the advice is cheesy, it’s a staple,
Of the wide expanse, of the universe,
It would be a good idea,
To hold onto it, to let it,
Comfort your soul,
Everyone needs love,
Better yet, if it rhymes,
There’s likely, some universal law,
Between those lines.
