Good and evil, are two sides,
Of the things, we have to be,

That doesn’t change,
The things that I do,

As you grow older,
You gather more of it,
You need it to exist,
That dirty evil,
That mortal dust,
Maybe, as I walk further,
Into the distance,
Into the horizon,
The weight of it,
Will continue,
To bear down on me,
Getting heavier, and heavier,
The sin flames, will continue,
To burn, hotter, and hotter,
Till the lord in heaven,
Offers his grace,
The wheel turns,
An eternity has passed,
I become born again,
Time to see, if I’ve learned anything,
Ages come and go, we get older, and older,
The seasons always turn, if we go further,
We’ll reach a downslope, we’ll settle,
The fall will come, the earth will begin to cool down,
How much further, can we walk,
Ten thousand pounds, on my back,
Our lord in heaven, always offers a way out.
