Something I didn’t understand growing up, dressing up, grooming yourself, styling your hair, doing your make up, applying lotion, face cream, damn man, I was an idiot, it was the first step to consent, to make yourself available, to put yourself out there, we’re only human, we have to communicate somehow, I used to think, damn man, what’s the point, all that work, its so much effort, I thought love would just fall to my lap, don’t be like me kids, grow up, think about it, whatever, everyone's somewhere, their own domain, so many things to worry about, I had other things to deal with, while growing up, I had to get comfortable with myself, such a sad world, through all that, everyone has school to deal with, who’s carefree enough, to dress up, go out, have fun, make love, it really is, a rich person activity, the hierarchy of needs, I’m still here man, worrying about the food I’ll eat.
