V3 Chapter 67
The column of wind comprising the tornado the Wind Wolf King had conjured rise even higher.
The air brought by the updraft cools rapidly, and the water particles it contains become tiny drops of ice that combine to form hailstones. As they fall once again, the hailstones melt, cooling the surrounding air even further, making the air heavy, and it drops down at a high speed.
Cian stared at the incredible power of the Wind Wolf King, and smirk. Then, without hesitation, he spread his wings and flew higher.
“Werebeast, you damn! I’ll kill you!!”
The angry Wolf King howled with rage, and the tornado was set loose. The massive and horrifying tornado that seemed to have the power to destroy in an entire city in a blink of an eye, mowed down the entire forest, and run toward Cian’s direction.
“Amadea, take care of Regina,”
Cian muttered under his breath.
“What are you going to do?”
Amadea’s voice responded.
“Do what I do best,”
He replied with a vicious grin, and he spread his arms wide. The lightning sparks immediately crackled around, and the smell of something burning wafted in the air. It was the air that was sizzling with plasma.
“Make sure to protect Regina, because I don’t think I can afford to hold back and neither will this beast,”
“...be careful,”
Cian acknowledged with a simple nod before he returned his attention back to the raging hurricanes.
The entire place has become a sea of storms. The massive hurricane suddenly splits apart into a dozen small tornadoes but the strong force around it was still enough to tear one apart if they were caught by them.
“Pathetic Werebeast, I’ll kill thee in a wrathful fate!”
The Beast King cried out in anger.
“...slice off thy head and bathe mineself in thine accursed blood- mongrel!”
“You’re the mongrel between us, -just you wait, I’ll devour you, Beast King!!”
Lightning sparks flashed from his eyes. Cian snorted in annoyance, and then he flew in the air, flapping his Abyssal Hawk Wings. He felt the air pressure blasting against him, and amidst within was actually sharp wind blades.
Cian buffed his physical body with [Steel Hide], [Iron Skin], and [Hardened]. He flew in the air, desperately avoiding the swirling tornadoes.
“Aaaaah!!”
Bang! Bang!
He launched lightning bolts and fireballs, and the area became similar to that of an eye of a storm. Thunder and lightning struck as the area devastated by swirling tornadoes.
“You cannot run from me, Wolf King! I will be the one to devour you! Swallow you whole! Not even bones shall be left after I’m done!”
“Shut up! Mongrel! Thy cursed blood taints the blood of the Divine Beasts! No Half-breed shall walk in this earth- I shall see to it, that thee, like others before thee, be bleed and perished in shame!!”
Cian and the Wolf King found each other, and with heart felt cries, raging emotions, they clashed.
The Wolf King now standing like a bipedal beast, swinging his claws that possess the power and ferocity of a full-blown storm. Cian countered it with his sword [Imagis Realis], creating sparks in the air. But though desperate, wounds accumulated around him, and his blood slowly spread over the air and into the ground, like a fountain.
Thunder and lightning!
“Blizzard!!”
The temperature drops down, and the swirling wind became ice-cold, with snow fluttering around them.
Caught off-guard, the Wind Wolf King was struck by the blizzard, and though it was not hurt in any way, its movements were clearly slowed down by a notch.
It’s the effect of Blizzard that was Asceius original magic. In fact, this skill alone can imprison the target into a frozen ice. However, both his magic level being too low currently, as well as the Wind Wolf King’s own power made Blizzard’s effect weakened.
Cian charged, launching Icicle Spikes and Lightning Bolts.

“Foolish hybrid!! How dare ye stand before me, the King of Wolves: Zizarca! Though shall pay with life for thy sins!”
The Wind Wolf King roared and the shockwave from its roar was enough to send the magic attacks back. Still, Cian was not fazed and continued to charge without fear.
Though slowed significantly, but the Wind Wolf King’s speed was still able to rival his, and the two once again clashed in a battle of wills and brawn.
“Keep talking, Wolf King! Your status means no shit to me! You are nothing but my meal!!”
“MONGREL!! How dare thou humiliate me?!”
Baang!
Booom!
Baaang!!
Claws and sword flashed with blurry speed, ringing in the air like bells.
Explosions occurred one after another, and sparks of plasma spread out like spider web in the night sky.
Two rays of light zoomed towards each other at super speed. Clad with lightning and abyssal flames on his fist, Cian was rapidly exchanging blows with the Wind Wolf King.
Though Cian had not reached the level of using abyssal flames to shoot super-powered attacks, he was still able to coat his body with it. After all, the Abyssal Flames comes from his wings, and his wings had become already become a part of his body. Because of that, his fist and kicks had become much stronger and powerful than before.
The Wind Wolf King who was invincible against normal flames was now feeling the excruciating burn from the black flames.
Every hit of Cian’s fist caused a scorching sensation as if he was being branded by a hot-heated metal. But the pain only increases its anger, and the rage bursting inside of him seemed to null the pain he was feeling and fought back with equal ferocity.
Its current appearance has seemly become a deranged beast, having lost all signs of his previous calm and indifferent demeanor.
The heated blows after blows, flesh against flesh created thunder and lighting around them as the terrifying tornadoes circled around them- a sight akin to that of the end of the world was unfolding in their very eyes.
“Incredible…”
Regina muttered with a dumbfounded, and full of fear expression. Though not speaking, the red-haired alraune beside her was also unable to take her eyes off the incredible battle that seemed straight out of an epic tale of legends and myths.
Even with her abilities, Amadea could hardly follow their movements and mostly sparks and blows were what she could see. Not to mention, Regina whose senses have been honed to the very peak of human capabilities through numerous, hell-like training can even hardly see the battle, the blurry veil caused by the rain and wind that swirled around the two monsters that were fighting in the air.
“This is Master’s true power…”
Regina whispers in shock.
"Terrifying power" is not enough to describe the scene before her.
Though there have been a number of logic-defying events today, this is by far the most ridiculous.
Almost like a final battle between two ancient monsters.
This unseemly thought running through her mind, Regina felt her throat dried up.
She was truly a fool, no, every single person who had looked down on the Fox Tribe was a fool.
Who said they are only dolls?
Who said they are the weakest?
Who said they are only fools with good looks?
The people who thought of this are the fools themselves. Not knowing the true terror of the one in front of her.
However, even if she tells the tale of what she had experienced in this trial, no one would ever believe her. For she knows, that even if she tells her past self about this, sadly, she knows she would never believe it.
“You low-grade being!”
The Wind Wolf King’s roar echoed in the entire forest, no, in the entire world.
Cian only snorted in contempt, never stop drinking potions to sustain himself, and continued his attacks. Bottles after bottles contineud to fall on the ground and break, but he didn't stop. No, he couldn't stop. Completely ignoring the consequences of drinking potions simultaneously. If this was a normal warrior, his body would have withered and imploded from the side effects of the potions.
He slashed his sword, creating bright sparks in the air as the blade and claws clashed against each other.
With manic speed and superhuman agility and reflexes, Cian blocks the Wolf King's ruthless attacks while fighting, using his black sword as a shield, the attack being so strong though still caused him to be knocked back and numbed time after time.
The Wind Wolf King howled with fury and rush towards Cian and swung his claws with blistering speed.
“…?!”
The Beast King was surprised, however, that Cian didn’t seem to make any effort to avoid his attack, and even more surprised that his claws passed through his body with no resistance.
“Wha-!?”
He heard a chant right behind him and turned around to see Cian with his hands surrounded by a dark mist, preparing to hit him with a magical blast.
The Beast King was struck with a sense of danger, and hurriedly jumped back to avoid his opponent’s attack, but it never came; instead, the energy around his hands coalesced into a magic circle that appeared beneath his legs, and chains suddenly appeared, binding his legs.
Binding!
“You half breed!!”
The beast King opened his mouth and breathe a column of swirling wind, but once more struck only the air; the illusion he attacked dissipated into a shadowy mist.
“Undead’s Grief!”
Cian appeared not far away, smirking. Then, from the black magic circle came a dozen skeletons that crawled upward, grabbing onto him.
“Do thou think this can stop me?!”
But the Beast King was not afraid, and with a burst of energy, the black chains along with the skeletons were destroyed in an instant.
The Beast stood there with a smug expression.
“Of course, I don’t,”
Cian smirked.
“But did you think Dark Magic is only good for tying things up?”
“...?!”
The Wolf King’s expression suddenly fell.
“What the hell is this?!”
Its body becoming heavy, and its power weakened drastically.
“You!”
Cian let out a burst of loud, manic laughter as the black mist started to spread around the Wolf King's figure, along with the rising number of skeletons that were straddling him.
“Foolish Beast! Now, suffer the grief of the people you’ve killed well…!”
