V2 Chapter 84
“But it’s been so long since we have seen each other… you know how much I had missed you, and yet you won't even respond to my every call. And now, seeing you flirting with that little girl, do you really not want me anymore…?”
The figure walked towards Cian and suddenly hugged him from the back. The figure’s hands creeping towards his abdomen and then to his chest, gently stroking up and down.
Sniff! Sniff! Sniffing noises echoed just beside his ear.
“You know this is necessary…Marelys,” Cian heave a helpless sigh, before turning around and look at the person.
When the light of the moon showered upon the person, it revealed the person’s appearance.
Marelys Avidhorn, the wife of the returning Marquis of the Vortan Family; Loren Vortan.
“I know, but seeing you caring for that little girl so much, my heart aches!”
Although she was complaining, her eyes displayed happiness when she saw Cian’s warm gaze that was unlike the usual look he has, or the one that he always uses in front of other people. Marelys likes this kind of gaze because it’s as if it was showing the fact that she too was different from the other people in front of his eyes, that she was one of his own as well.
One that he cared for, one that he loved.
“Sibylla is different, you know that.” Cian smiled wryly and replied. “She’s the only one that I treasured and love whole-heartedly. I had already told you about it before. I don’t want to hurt you, I don’t want to lie to you. I never wanted to give you false hope. All I want you to know, that I want you to believe is that my feelings for you are genuine and full of sincerity. However—” Cian’s expression changed, displaying a pained and sorrowful expression.
This was the first time Marelys had seen him showing suck kind of expression and her heart feels touched.
She couldn’t help but stop his words with her mouth, pulling him into a passionate kiss. Cian turned the hand back on her and held her tightly, pushing her flush against a dark corner of the pavilion and running his hand over her pert bottom. His other hand clasped around her waist and responded to her attack with his own passion—kissing down on her brilliantly red lips.
“Ooh… ooh…”
Cian’s sudden burst of passionate reply took Marelys by surprise, but part of her had been hoping for just such a kiss and that part responded with a hunger that surprised them both. She writhed against him and his hands came up and slid up her sides, then to her breasts and he squeezed them through her dress. She couldn’t stop his invasion however, and her own body slowly began to grow hot and go limp.
Marelys was wearing a beautiful white dress today. Satiny material, beautiful snow white dress. It went to about her mid-thighs so it wasn't really slutty, but it was tight up top. Very tight. Fitted, Cian guessed is the term. Fitted like a small glove around her voluptuous body. You could see some motion in the dress. Cian wasn't certain, but he was guessing he wasn’t wearing any bra. Not like many people were since they are still not used to it.
Undergarments have only debuted a few months ago after Adam’s Company was created.
However, the dress was cinched a bit and seemed to provide some support for her beautiful babies.
What makes any man feel excited more was that this white dress that was based on an angel-pureness, had no back.
Backless. Bareback. Whatever you call it. There was a little string of faux diamonds going across the back, holding it together. But that was it. And it was backless to the small of her back. The very small of it. The smallest part. What one would call, 'Below the belt' even.
The long, tapering dress clung tightly to her mesmerizing body figure. The curvaceous white sexy dress was tight on the bottom as it enclosed around his long, slender legs. If the skirt still went further down her legs, it would surely look like the bottom half of a mermaid, further enhancing the body’s slenderness.
Breasts that looked like they were about to burst out of their fabric and a well-rounded, pert bottom were firm and toned. They were also completely accessible beneath the dress and left nothing to one’s imagination, sending out a strong allure.
When she sashayed, Marelys sent alluring beams of beauty all over that no young women could have and only mature married women could possibly possess, appearing to be an incomparably beautiful woman.
At the Hall, while walking, Cian had noticed that many men were looking at her with a completely distracted look, staring so hard that it seemed their eyes were about to fall out. And, he admits he was somewhat proud, part annoyed. He was a possessive man, and despite wanting to show off to the world how beautiful his women were, a part of him wants to possess this alluring scenery. That he, only him alone in this entire world could see it.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
She was indeed incredibly beautiful.
It was justifiable that many women, young and old, had idolized her.
Cian stared directly at her eyes, which was also doing the same. He looked at her and saw in her eyes the same look he'd seen in several women he had seen before. Cian broke the long deep kiss after noticing Marelys was already having a hard time breathing. When he did, Marelys started breathing rapidly.
After calming down, she looks at him, her expression flushed and full of love and longing; “I know you have me in your heart. I don’t need anything else. That is enough for me. The age gap between us is too large, and I have the identity of a daughter-in-law to the Vortan family as well. Furthermore, the Vortan Family is destined to be your enemy. If you attempt to expose our relationship, this would have drastic consequences for both me and you.” She buried her face within Cian’s chest, speaking in a soft voice and recounting with great sorrow. "...and I understand that. You and me, both of us are helpless to do anything about it,"
"... ..."
“Although I don’t care what will happen to me, however, I won’t be able to forgive myself if I would be the reason that you will be unable to reach your dreams.” she sighs her voice laded with bitterness.
“If the Vortan Clan will side with my brother, they will become my enemy. You…”
But Marelys had already shaken her head, stopping Cian’s words; “You don’t need to ask. I had already said this before, no matter what you wanted, I will do everything in my power to support you. Even if it means betraying both Vortan and Avidhorn family…!”
Marelys Avidhorn had once told Welie that she was not a sentimental person that would choose love rather than family.
But that was wrong… she was the very definition of that said type of person!
In the past, she had fallen in love with Loren Vortan because of his dashing figure and heroic aura. At that time, most of her family members had dissuaded her, but she still insisted. Because she loves him. Even if the Vortan Family and the Avidhorn Family had some unstable relationship at that time due to the competition between the First Prince and the First Princess, she still chooses him and married him in the end.
As she recalled that time she seemed to be lost in thought, her eyes began to go slightly red.
It was a very cold winter that year.
Marelys Avidhorn will never forget when she knelt in front of her father; adjure him to agree with her being together with Loren Vortan.
The cold wind blowing in her face was bone chilling cold. In that wind, she knelt in front of him for three whole hours until the wind made her feel unconscious; she still did not shed a drop of tear. Later, her father was unable to dissuade his daughter and gave in to her persistence, thus he agreed to their marriage, but only on one condition, Loren Vortan must marry into and live with the Avidhorn family. Though, unbeknownst to her, that was what Loren Vortan had wanted—no, the Vortan Family desires.
She also will never forget the day when Loren heard her father decision, his eyes shining showed the slightest hint of hesitation. She was young and frivolous thus she didn’t care, since childhood, she always felt a sense of superiority, that as long as she had a virtue of love, she can catch any man’s heart, with this thought just a few years later, and their marriage came to an end. However, such happiness didn’t last long.
Marelys had realized that Loren Vortan was actually a paper tiger.
He was cold and arrogant as if nothing was above him. However, he never had any guts to say anything against his family’s orders or those above his rank. He had married because, not out of love but due to his family’s insistence to connect with the Avidhorn Family.
What dashing figure? What heroic aura! He had only reaped the glory of other people and made it his own. At that time, she was still an innocent young girl that she couldn’t see anything real because her eyes were blinded by emotion.
She is a smart woman, thus as the time they spent together lengthens; she became more and more aware of hidden bitterness behind Loren Vortan’s smile.
She didn’t think, even when she begged her father to agree to their marriage she didn’t shed tears, yet after living like a doll to Loren Vortan, tears of regret fell.
It turns out falling in love with this man was a mistake, marrying him is also a mistake.
That full of emotional trauma experiences told her that unequal marriage doesn’t run the distance, she has suffered heartaches. She was wronged.
Right now, they were only still together because Loren Vortan didn’t want to let go. For reputation and also for the Vortan Family’s ambitions. Hence, instead of waiting for the other person to let go, why doesn’t she let go first instead?
At least she can still maintain her dignity as a woman of the Great Avidhorn family.
She thought she would not feel anything again like that.
However, she was proven mistaken.
When she met the Second Prince, she was powerfully drawn to him in just a few moments of watching him, his every movement and action. His expression, his smile, the look in his eyes as he looks at people as if he was watching a group of clowns performing. She was charmed—attracted.
It was like a hurricane, it was fast, furious—her sentiment for him grew before she could become aware of it. It was as if she had consumed a drug, addicting somewhat and she became impatient after not seeing him for about 3 to 4 days, and when one week passed, her heart started tightening, and by one month, she couldn’t eat properly. Longer and she became insane due to longing, even the clouds in the skies looked like the second prince smiling at her.
When she realized what was happening to her, she was already deep in a chasm and just couldn’t extricate herself from it. And once again, just like before, she drowns herself in sentiment—this time not to her husband, but to this young, cold, intelligent but affectionate prince that seemed coming straight out from a fairytale.
And yet, she regrets nothing…not in the past, not now, perhaps not even in the future…!
And even if she did... it doesn't concern her anymore.
At least not now.
She would just embrace the pain and suffering.
After all, this was her own choice.
… …
