V2 Chapter 100
When Cian woke up the next morning, he felt an unpleasant crispy feeling on his body.
It was probably due to the fluids that stuck and dried up from last night he had shared with Ruka. Sighing, Cian activated magic to open the curtains. And then, the morning sunlight shined into the room. Gazing at the window while feeling groggy from waking up, he suddenly heard someone knocking the door.
Rain answered to let the person know that he was already awake, but only a voice came back.
“Master. Your bath has been prepared.”
A respectful, solemn voice rang out.
The timing was perfect.
Cian left the room in a good mood and headed towards the bath.
“Soran, well done from this early in the morning. I just thought of wanting to take a bath when I woke up. Thanks to you, I’m able to start the day feeling great.” Cian said with a wry smile.
Since Ruka was with him last night, another servant came as usual. Probably, without his knowledge, the servant staff of the Palace had delegated exclusive staff for him, especially whenever he would call Ruka to serve him at night. After all, with Cian’s vigor, Ruka would not be able to serve him on time after being squeezed out by him.
Thus, the Castle staffs made such consideration. And he was quite thankful for it. Cian didn't want Ruka to be overworked, as he would feel guilty. In fact, even though he always told Ruka not to worry about it, the latter would insist on serving as an attendant even though her body continued trembling and still feeling numb after a long night's workout.
Still, Ruka's fame somewhat spread throughout the entire Northern Border.
There were even some rumors that Ruka would probably rise up into concubine at this rate. Cian had even noticed several servant staffs were treating Ruka quite respectfully. However, since it was not really that bad, Cian just overlooked it.
Though, this was only made possible because Cian’s reputation had somewhat turned positively after all this time, especially towards the female servants who had seen Ruka’s enviable life.
Nowadays, the world-renowned perverted reputation the Second Prince had in the past seemed to have slowly faded away from the memories of everyone. They only had praises for him right now.
There were even some people who were trying to gain his favor.
Women were like this. After hearing someone takes the lead, none of them would be afraid. Since a mere servant managed to gain the favor of the Second Prince and even seemed to have flown to the nine heavens, turning into a phoenix from a mere duckling, anyone would surely covet such enviable opportunity. Well, unfortunately for them, Cian wouldn’t dare to casually pick up women aside from Ruka, or else he would get scolded harshly by Sibylla.
He might be a Prince and an arrogant one at that, but he was still scared of angering his beloved fiancee.
Besides, he was not that casual anyway.
“I’m very happy to hear Master’s praise,”
Cian smiled faintly and reached out, patting Soran’s hair. Soran’s face immediately turned bright red, and even her body was fidgeting.
When Cian walked passed her, her face turned somewhat disappointed. She even had the urge to grasped the helm of Cian’s bathrobe. But if she does that, forget about being able to gain the Second Prince’s favor, she might even be hung in the execution platform. She could only disappointedly follow Cian towards his bath.
After finishing his morning bath, Cian took the breakfast served by Soran. Currently, Ruka was apparently taking a bath using his leftover bathwater. A slave like her would never eat in the same table as him in the first place, even with her special privilege. But it’s not something to brood about. This is hierarchy…even if Cian didn’t like it.
“Sorry, I’m late,”
“Me too—Good Morning Aanuel,”
As Cian was about to pick up his spoon and fork, two figures appeared in the doorway, entering and lightning the hall with their beautiful visage.
“How’s your night? Enjoying?”
The one who spoke while walking towards his left was none other than Cian’s beloved older sister; Oriel Heretarium Vorn Stormfury muttered with a smile full of sarcasm.
Sibylla who heard her and understand her underlying meaning only rolled her eyes as she walked towards the right side of him and took a seat beside him without a care of the world.
“For some reason, I have a hard time understanding your meaning, elder sister…I wonder why?” Cian smiled unfazed.
“You’re acting innocent as well have been strengthened without me realizing it. It seems like it’s not just your physical ability that has been trained well but also your character as well. Can’t say I’m not happy about that. It can serve you well in some unexpected times,” Oriel smiled mischievously.
When she said ‘Physical Ability’ she somewhat made an emphasize tone, causing Cian to chuckle in amusement. He was the only one who can completely understand what she was saying. It seems like the fact that him making love with Ruka even though it’s just after his passionate moment with Oriel, somewhat ticks the latter off.
“Well, I had great teachers~”
Cian poured a bowl of meaty soup and gave it to Sibylla, then scoop another for Oriel.
Although this should have been a servant’s work, Cian was fond of doing something like this. Even Sibylla and Oriel love seeing him acting like a personal servant of them—somewhat showing that he cares for them and didn’t mind serving them as a servant. Which, in this era would surely be looked down upon by men who think themselves superior to women.

Although, since Oriel and Sibylla has a very high status in the society, hence, not even a lunatic would dare do so. However, to those with the same status, they seemed to think that by doing this kind of things is somewhat humiliating.
Oriel and Sibylla never cared about this, nor did they even think that something was wrong with it. However, when they saw Cian attending them like this, their hearts couldn't help but felt contented and loved. Sweetness overflowed into their very being and they even seek much more from him.
And so, before one knew it, every meal becomes Cian serving the two women and even the servants had already become used to this scene. No one even felt it was odd or strange anymore.
“You woke up rather early… is it about time you leave?” Oriel asked.
Her expression was complicated and full of reluctance.
“Yeah—early morning or late evening would be better for departure, as to avoid any unwanted attention. However, it would be a problem for me if Sibylla wouldn’t be able to sleep well because of my selfishness, so I chose morning departure. It would also be better in many ways,”
“I said, I didn’t mind.” Sibylla retorted with a flushed expression.
Her heart was full of sweetness.
“That’s not possible.” Cian smiled faintly as he stroke Sibylla’s hair.
“Okay, you don’t need to flirt in front of me. It’s unsightly.” Oriel rolled her eyes. “However, remember our deal, only a month. And you cannot lose the Communication Orb either. You’ll give me reports every day, do you understand, Aanuel? No, rather, do you understand Sibylla?” she turned her gaze from Cian to Sibylla, causing Cian to feel somewhat hurt.
“Yes, Elder Sister!” Sibylla nodded her head obediently while Cian was making a grudging face.
Oriel seemed to have not trusted him enough that instead of giving orders to him, she let Sibylla do all the necessary procedures and ordered her to monitor Aanuel strictly. This somehow broke Cian's heart. Is he that unreliable…?
Cian turned towards Sibylla and saw her happy smile, his heart somewhat felt warm. Sibylla noticed Cian’s gaze and gave a lovely smile back. She was really cute. She was probably happy that Oriel was depending on her, and for it perhaps felt as if she was leaving Cian to her.
Acknowledgment, huh… Cian shook his head with a wry smile.
Truthfully, Cian didn’t want Sibylla to come with him as it might become dangerous. However, the girl was just too stubborn. She didn’t want to leave Cian on his own—and Cian was somehow weak to her tears.
Even if devils don’t cry, they don’t have a heart of stone. Although Cian deemed this emotion of his troublesome and an irritating weakness, he has no heart to purge it. Probably it was the human emotion that was still stubbornly surviving inside of him that was making such rebellion. But Cian didn’t want to abandon it—abandon his almost forgotten humanity.
And so, many people might think that such a weakness would be detrimental for a selfish tyrant like him but he doesn’t care. He was used to manipulating people, but even he himself would never forget that he too was a person himself!
So by spoiling Sibylla, Cian felt that he too still possesses the quality of being a human. Although this was perhaps just stupid egotism, it doesn’t matter.
In fact, compared to before when he just arrived in this world, where his mindset and personality was somewhat affected greatly by the scum Second Prince, Cian was able to stabilize his condition. And now, he was slowly returning to his former self--albeit, with the exception of his sexual appetite.
It seems like this kind of setting has already been programmed in his body, that even Cian was unable to control it, or manage his overgrowing sexual desire.
“Right, I made some experimental product…I hope you will like it,”
As the three of them were eating, suddenly Cian seemed to have remembered something when Soran, entered the dining hall while pushing a metallic tray towards them. Cian thought it was another dish when he suddenly remembered something. That’s right… I actually made that…
“Experimental product?” Sibylla and Oriel turned towards Cian and asked with a bewildered expression.
“It’s for the Company,” Cian replied with a faint smile.
“Oh,” Oriel nodded her head in understanding. She knows about {Adam’s Company}’s true identity; the Second Prince established secret business.
It was a few months ago when Oriel had suspected the {Adam’s Company} as Garden of Eden’s disguise, due to it being too coincidental, appearing after the Garden of Eden. And she was hell-bent on investigating the Company’s in and out to pull out the roots of the enigmatic Garden of Eden and the accursed Killer and Ezra Redhawk for her personal revenge.
Her hate about them was sky-high and could not just easily be erased.
Even with the passing of time.
Even if the {Adam’s Company} was a valuable source of tax income and source of economy, it would still not be enough for Oriel to keep her hands on if she knows that {Adam’s Company} is indeed, the Garden of Eden. After all, she hated then Garden who almost killed her beloved brother. And she was never the type of woman to just forget about vengeance.
No one can touch him, even if they are gods or demons, she would let them pay the price if they did.
This reached Cian’s ears and he was troubled. In the end, he confessed to her. Cian didn’t want to have a conflict with Oriel anymore and it would be just become troublesome if it escalated.
“What?!” Oriel’s voice broke as she said this. She even jumped out from the bed, naked and glaring at him. Although the view from the bed was exhilarating at that time, Cian took the initiative to be obedient, like a kid who does wrong and confessed, sitting on the bed with heads down.
She was shocked, no, extremely surprised. She was silent for a while, then she slowly relaxed herself down, trying to regain her calm.
When she asked when he started it, Cian made a story with half-truth, saying it was done with Sibylla’s cooperation.
Well, it’s not really a lie as Sibylla almost did most of the work to establish a firm foundation of the company while he provided it with financial support. Nevertheless, Cian still kept about the Garden of Eden, as it was his last trump card and it’s better for it to remain unknown.
It’s not that he didn’t trust Oriel, but there are things that are better left unknown for the time being—and Cian greatly understands that. Oriel's love for him was not really bad, but in some instances, it was overbearing. Especially if she knows about Cian being the head of an underground organization. His movement would be somewhat limited because of her.
Although Cian knows that Oriel would surely support him regardless, but that overprotective nature of hers made some things a bit troublesome.
At first, Oriel scrutinizes him for everything and then suddenly become happy. Of course, {Adam’s Company} was one of the biggest business organizations in the current era, and it was actually her beloved brother’s possession!
How glorious is that?
Well, Oriel knows the importance of keeping it a secret, though, so she just set it aside and just felt extremely happy about Cian’s achievement, even calling him a Genius Merchant, which seems to exaggerate.
Since then, with Oriel’s secret support, the Company runs smoothly in the Northern Border, causing it to be able to establish a great foundation inside the City, that even the problematic nobles to shut their mouth. She was extremely supportive about it, even without asking anything, which causes Cian to love her even more.
Oriel and Sibylla look at the metallic tray which was still covered by an egg-like metal lid. They were extremely curious, also interested. After all, this is not the first Cian had created something—food or item, and for the love of God, they are extremely novel and interesting.
Some things they had never seen before. Especially food—they were originally not that much interested in delicious foods and snacks, but when Cian offered it to them, they became addicted to eating.
Different pastries, never before seen delicious dishes and snacks, even drinks—they found it, with much, many surprises, Cian was actually a great cook that even the Imperial Chef could only admit defeat.
And now, here he is again…
