V2 Chapter 34

With a smile, Cian took two steps forward, disregarding all the demons around him. However, a change happened when his second step landed. One of the demons who was repeatedly groaning on the ground suddenly jumped to his feet. The sharp longsword that was in his hand carried a thin layer of blood colored magic power as it trickily and viciously stabbed toward Cian’s lower abdomen. Faced with the ambush, Cian did not show the slightest sign of panic.

“Clang!” The longsword stabbed against his body but just, as usual, the longsword seemed to have stopped just a few inches away from Cian’s black clothes. Instantly, sparks flew everywhere. However, it did not even leave white scratches on the boy’s clothes. After the sneak attack failed; the ambusher did not continue to press forward. He used the reverse force from the attack and quickly retreated.

“Since you have launched an ambush, why are you leaving?” Cian was alerted to his intentions when the ambusher was about to retreat. With a soft laugh, his feet stomped on the ground. With an explosive sound, Cian’s body suddenly shot forward and was only half a meter from the ambusher in an instant.

The corner of his eyes carried a chilling smile as his eyes met with the ambusher. The ambusher was an extremely familiar person, Gobing that he had seen in the Auction Hall just a while ago. Seeing that Cian was chasing him like a ghost, the ambusher was started and then his body suddenly halted and shot towards the charging Cian. “DIEEEEE!!” Gobing’s angry cry rang out as his figure flashed in front of Cian. A sword was slashed down. Cian grasped the sword with a bare hand and the momentum of the slashed seemed to have disappeared. Gobing was startled by this scene. Then, a palm expanded on Gobing’s vision, causing the latter’s body to shiver in fright. However, as Cian was attacking, wooosh. several figures appeared around him. He was encircled by 5, no, 6 people—though, this much doesn’t

matter to him.

No matter how many people they put into him, it was no use!!

Clang! Clang! Clang! various weapons struck Cian’s body but all of them still stop inches away from him. This is truly—[Absolute Defense]!!

Gobing immediately took advantage of this and retreated hurriedly. Cold sweat covered his back. He looks at Cian with fear in his eyes. Just what kind of monster is this man supposed to be?! He was invulnerable from any kind of attack, be it weapons or magic! Just how is this possible?! Even his strength can kill a person with a slight touch… this is truly ridiculous! A horrifying nightmare!

As for Cian, his eyes narrowed coldly. With a snort, his body flickered and then drove his elbow into the joint in the leg of a man, destroying his center of gravity. Then, he applied pressure to inflict as much pain as possible, the bone was then twisted and broken in an instant, causing the man to cry out in despair. Baang! His leg sweeps out, breaking the neck of one person closest to him and, caught his head and slammed it on the ground.

“This monster…!” Gobing’s voice had just left his mouth when the sound of an energy explosion abruptly rang out. A vague, black-clothed figure let out a ‘chi’ sound and tore through the hindrance of the air. The ten plus meters between the figure and Gobing who retreated hurriedly was shuttled past in less than a second. This terrifying speed caused the eyes of Gobing and the two others beside him to be dazzled. A blurry black-clothed figure that was around three meters tall brought a cold temperature as it appeared in front of them.

A fist abruptly shot out. It turned into three afterimages. Each of them carried explosive might that seemed to have the power to demolish the entire building and violently smashed at the heads of the three of them. Gobing couldn’t even react properly before he was sent crashing on the ground, bleeding on all orifices.

The speed of Cian after controlling and increasing all force vectors around him, he can increase his speed to the point that even someone with good eyesight and perception would unable to match him. Therefore, only when the fist was about to reach their heads did Gobing and the others sense something. And with Cian’s power, all people struck by him instantly fainted and on the verge of dying.

“Wooosh!” “Swiiiish!” “Wooosh!” “Baaang!!” Another group of people rushed at Cian, armed with different kind of weapons. There were even those who were shooting magic attacks such as fireball, wind blades, lightning and etc…

“Wuaaaah!!!!” The smell of blood once again caused Cian’s savage nature to burst out. His eyes widened as he released a demonic growl, and charged towards the person who was nearest to him. His speed was too fast, and all the people around him saw was the blur of a black shadow, followed by screams. The screams came from two people who were standing together. Each of their chests had a hand protruding through them, and their scream lasted only half a second.

“Patheticcc!!!!!” Cian mumbled coldly and threw the corpses into the air, and each of them flew tens of meters away.

Cian was simply too fast, and everything had happened in the blink of an eye. By the time Cian began to rapidly kill people around him, the dead people still had not realized what was happening. Cian was a Reaper trained by a family of known assassins in the world, the Cahlo Clan which was famed as one of the deadliest and most infamous groups of assassins with a thousand years of history.

Showing great promise from birth, Cian had undergone the traditional assassin training of the Cahlo Clan. He had already mastered many killing techniques at a tender age and was set to be one of the best assassins the family had ever produced, causing him to be skilled in all sorts of assassination methods. Whether it was his arms, legs or even teeth, no matter what kind of things he uses, he easily kills people with it!

Speed, strength, reflexes and his innate hidden brutality had earned him quite a reputation in the underworld back in Earth. And now, coupled with his abilities, one could say that he was already unstoppable!

Cian’s cold eyes gleamed brightly with two different colors, tracing light arcs whenever he turned his head. Then, his right palm flew up into the air. It moved with such incredible speed towards the charging man from behind him, causing the latter to have no time to react before it slapped him across the face. A boom! could be heard, and the burly man felt as if an entire mountain had collided with the side of his head. His mind was reeling.

Originally, the blow should have sent him flying, but at the last moment, Cian caused his hand to move back down. He then grabbed the man’s head and directly slammed it into the ground. The man first shot up into the air and then struck the ground, causing a rumbling sound to echo out. The indifferent expression still on his face as if what he was slamming on was but a small bug, Cian lifted his right foot up into the air and then began to trample on the burly man.

Even as the sound of the beating echoed out, the burly man began to struggle furiously. His magic power exploded with power as he attempted to fight back. However, in the blink of an eye, the fearsome power Cian released caused him to begin to scream miserably. He shrank back down, shrieking in shocking fashion. Cian smiled amusedly. He grabbed the man’s head and bashed it into the ground, causing blood to spray from the man’s mouth.

Wooosh. Cian who was killing suddenly felt several powerful auras rushing at him. Three people quietly leaped out while thrusting their drawn swords towards Cian’s back when he was preoccupied. All of the pouncing thugs have strengths comparable to Gobing, meaning their power ranks should not be any less weak than Baron Class Demons.

Demon World has their own system and normally they are classified into seven ranks; starting from the Knight Class Demons, which was the weakest among the Demon Experts, commonly known as Demon Knights in the human world. Then, Baron, Viscount, Count, Marquis, Duke and lastly Arch Duke. They are not just nobility titles but the power system of the Demon World…and aside from the Royal Family, depending on their own power rank, they will also get the honor and corresponding title; such as when Baron Class Demons, even if they are commoners, would surely get the Baron nobility title if they are acknowledged by the royalty and have corresponding achievements.

Though, of course, not all Demons would get acknowledgment by the royal family…without achievements that can catch the Royal Family’s eyes, you can only obtain nobility if you are power is extremely strong, reaching the Marquis Realm and above.

—Above Arch Duke, there is Prince, then the Demon King.

Moving as fast as the wind, they soon came right up behind Cian, and a cold light flashed as their swords slashed towards the black-clothed youth. But as Cian was walking forward, when the swords approached his back, his body suddenly drifted forward and magically avoided the attacks, like he had eyes in the back of his head. Turning around, Cian lightly glanced at his assailants as an evil grin slowly spread across his face, and an eerie laugh soon escaped from his lips.

This sudden change startled the demon thugs, and a cold sweat emerged on their necks. They fucked up! Roaring, they pushed their demonic power to the limit and launched another attack towards Cian. Several sword slashes and fist shadows flew through the air, but before the demons had time to react, they felt a strong force smash into their bodies and send them flying back. As they flew, the group of assailants coughed up blood before falling to the ground and died on impact.

The rest of the demons couldn’t help gulping, but they still let out a vicious roar and ferociously charged towards Cian. If they cower now, they would surely be dead when their leaders caught sight of them running away. Wolves at the back, a tiger in front. Well, in any case, they are now riding on the same boat. If this monster was not stopped, they too would face annihilation…!

A series of muffled thuds rang out as the demon who had just rushed at Cian involuntarily flew out, like a broken kite blown by the gust of wind, each of their chests was crushed and caved in. One person, one strike, none of them even had the opportunity to resist. Those who were weaker died instantly, while a few stronger ones simply collapsed on the ground after completely losing the ability to fight.

Those who unluckily collapsed closer to Cian had not even had time to flee before he was caught by the latter, a hand gripping their heads before they felt a violent twist. With a crisp cracking sound, the demon’s necks were snapped in an instant, like a broken doll, their bodies limply fell down one by one.

Ignoring the increasing pile of dead bodies around him, Cian glared coldly at the other still surviving demons that were now trembling and wetting their pants from fear. As they watched him, a deep sense of terror flickered across their eyes. Compared to this group of thugs who had lived killing and terrorizing the populace, Cian was far more frightening, like a blood-stained executioner. He killed people as simply and easily as killing ants, and even his casual behavior and actions, from beginning to end, never changed in the slightest. His eyes through the mask slits didn’t even blink when killing as if what he was killing was just mosquitoes.

People’s lives were like dust to him, something he could casually brush aside.

With the thugs being so frightened to the point of wetting their pants, how could the leaders of the group not be? Although most of them were confident of their strength, easily killing those Count or even those arrogant Marquis Class Experts within the Demon City, making their names, but at the moment their blood ran cold and their souls had been petrified. They were very clear on their own henchmen’s strength. If it was them, each of them could indeed easily deal with any of them one on one, but it would be impossible for him to casually slaughter them all as this youth had just done.

“Bastard!” An angry voice echoed and an old man, who Cian had seen a while ago, had finally appeared. His eyes extremely cold and ferocious like that of a wild beast and his demonic power ferociously burst out, “…You have killed enough!” Done talking, the old man roared as the ground beneath his feet began to crack and rocks and dust flew about randomly.

An ominous dark purple light began to radiate from the old man’s body, pulsating out shockwaves that crashed upon Cian’s body.

When the old man finally took action, jubilant cheers immediately echoed. Cries and screams of ‘leader!’ ‘leader!’ ‘leader!’ cheers like fan girls covered the entire building. Although Cian had instantaneously just defeated countless people by now, weak and strong, fully demonstrating just how great his strength was, the first leader was an entirely different story. Throughout the Okmahun Demon City, he was quite a famous existence. Though he wasn’t a peak rank master, he was still well known for his remarkable combat strength. Within the Demon City, there were few who could fight evenly with him. And only because of him, the other faction didn’t dare touch the Bloodhole Gang.

Moreover, the first leader was a bloodthirsty person. All those whom he had ‘played’ within the past had died miserable deaths. Not a single one had survived.

At this moment, Cian’s aura, no it should be, murderous intention burst forth. The killing intent was so thick and dense it seemed as if it had materialized in the air, distorting space. Just his killing intent is already so powerful and horrifying…!

*Pu pu pu….* Sending out his killing intent, the two auras wildly collided with each other and the old man’s invisible attack was dissolved. Without enough time to even breathe, Cian suddenly saw the old man’s face fill with a wild grin. His expression rapidly changed, and Cian swiftly leaped high into the air.

Suddenly, from the place he was just standing, sharp rays of the same ominous light burst out from the ground.

“Oh…” The old man’s eyes flashed a cold light, apparently, he didn’t expect Cian to have been so alert that he would manage to dodge this sneak attack. Cian, before had just stood there nonchalantly, taking almost all the hits without any hint of defensive measures so he thought he would also do it as well. Never thought the black-clothed youth would be so perceptive!

Cian coldly stared at the old man while standing in mid-air. Wiiz. Wiiiz. Wiiiz. a series of cutting sound suddenly echoed in the area. It looked invisible but a master like the old man could feel the danger coming from it. Feeling this immense danger and pressure rapidly approaching him from above, the old man didn’t dare to be neglectful. Steadying his stance, he raised both his palms to the sky.

*Bang, bang bang…* As the pair’s attack furiously collided, shockwaves burst forth in all directions, and each one visibly distorted the surroundings. As a result of this Earth-shaking collision, the old man’s towering body was actually slowly driven into the ground. This was not however because his strength being weaker than Cian’s, but rather a result of the ground not being able to withstand such a heavy bombardment. Where the old man stood, all around him, deep cracks radiated out that even the entire building had shown signs of collapsing.

Seeing this, the chill in Cian’s eyes only became heavier. Without hesitation, he poured all of his focus on controlling the vectors in the air, seemingly controlling the gravity around them, forcing the old man further into the ground.

Aware of his opponent’s intention, the old man roared like a raging beast as his muscles bulged, and he exhausted the full potential of his body, as he struck back.

Finally, the Bloodhole Tavern trembled under the force of this confrontation. The surrounding walls and floors all fragmented and blew apart as those unfortunate enough to be inside them cried out in terror, as they quickly tried to escape to outside.

Fusing themselves with the dense Magical Power, three figures suddenly appeared out of the clouds of dust and fiercely pounced towards Cian like tigers springing towards its prey. As they passed through the sky, violent winds began to form and rumble out from their fists in an attempt to envelop the black-clothed youth. Although the trio had indifferent and calm expressions, they were merciless once they attacked. It was evident that they were somewhat afraid of Cian. After all, it was certain that a person who had managed to reduce the entire Bloodhole Gang in this state wasn’t someone simple.

Although they were uncertain how powerful Cian was, it was never wrong to be cautious. But against these three people’s attack, Cian’s handsome face under the mask remained calm. He only moved the moment the three attacks were about to descend on him. In the instant that Cian moved, an afterimage appeared. The winds from the trio’s powerful fists roared and smashed the afterimage into nothingness.
