Chapter 45
“Aah, really, that hurts you know,” Cian shrugged as he stared down at Duke Rabilla, his eyes gleaming through the eye holes of the mask. “Being called a monster and all, I was actually just trying it out. However, for it to be this effective…”
“… …?!”
“It’s also a shock for me… well, I guess that also shows how much of weak demon you are. You’re will and mental strength is just too pitifully…low. For you to drown in this little illusion~” Cian shook his head as if he finds something regrettable.
“…It’s all that it seems. Well, looking at you, confused and all, I guess, that’s too bad,” Cian chuckled, amused. “For you to be able to pass on without regrets, let me tell you the truth then—I can control any eyes within this room. What they see, what they don’t see, I hold total mastery over it all. ‘You’ could appear to be still fighting against me even now, excited over your victory and enjoying the thirst for battle, although you’ve just been killed long ago.”
“Wha, wha, what the hell are you talking about?!!”
“Where did it start? Where did it stop? Who knows, but what you can see right now is something you wanted to see the most…illusion? Dream? Who knows…” Tap! Cian stepped forward. Then, he looked at the window outside—there, he can finally see several figures, watching aghast while standing at the branch of a tree.
It seems like their surprised accidentally deactivated their concealment…
As I expected, even the Vampire Lord, came…
“…I guess time for the curtain to fall down…hope you have a very good dream~” Cian spoke with an unusual gentle soft voice.
“… …?!!”
“You just died…!”
Bang! Duke Rabilla’s head was lopped off of his neck and rolled on the ground. His eyes still wide open and his jaw hanging.
Disbelief and confusion still colored his eyes. Not knowing what had happened nor what had transpired.
“I had shown you the true reality, that you are helpless against me. Heh, however, as I expected, they say a cornered mouse will bite a cat, showing me something interesting in the end. But…” Another Cian appeared just from behind him. “What do you think would happen to the mouse after provoking the cat in such a manner? Can you imagine?”
“… …”
A black sword with no shine and its sharpness could not even be told from looking at it. However, in the hands of the Second Prince, it released an immense pressure, as its blade covered in blood, dripping down the floor, with a ‘Tap! Tap! Tap!’ sound. Cian grinned as he made a blood swing, the blood on the sword splattered on the ground making an arc, he continued; “…It’s head lopped off from its neck, ears and nose would be ripped off, its flesh and bones smashed to bits, its limbs plucked from its body, and its entrails dragged out.”
“Isn’t that quite an agonizing way to die…?”
“… You… how did… you do that… im, impossible…!”
“Ho? As expected of the resilient of a Demon, you sure are impressive you can still talk despite cutting your head off.” Cian’s tone was playful and seems to be showing a smirk. “Then, what should I cut next? Limbs? Torso? Or should I really drag out your entrails in your very eyes…?”
“…You, you damn!!!”
“…Hm, that would be fun of itself. However, as thanks for telling me how people in this world fight and giving me quite an interesting show to watch, I at least show you mercy and let you keep an entire corpse. Mister Rabilla.” Cian turned crouched down and placed his palm on the headless corpse chest.
BAAAAMMM!!
In an instant, the chest exploded and blood burst out from within. Even if Duke Rabilla has a way to resurrect himself, in this case where his insides are just a bundle of a mess, reviving is utterly impossible!
“You, Monster!!”Duke Rabilla cried out in despair but after a moment his eyes finally dim down.
He died.
Cian cocked his neck. His eyes behind his mask remained callous.
As I thought… even with my OP abilities, experience and forbidden spells are a threat against me…
He recalled the [ Eternal Cold ] that Duke Rabilla used. If it was really used against him, he would have died now, even if he was a Cat!
The thing that worries me as well is that…my absolute defense can be rendered useless!
It’s not about being able to pass through my defense but it literally nullified the supernatural power at hand. Duke Rabilla didn’t pierce my body just then and there, instead, a few moments it was about to reflected and yet after a moment, it froze not only things but magic, or natural phenomena—what’s going on here…?

Cian frowned as he analyzed what had happened. But he just couldn’t find any sort of conclusion—his understanding of magic is still not enough!
Well, in the first place, to question the principles of supernatural powers would be nonsense, especially for a newbie like me.
Cian was unsatisfied but some people think otherwise.
Besides, my eye is surprisingly hard to use…
Although I had said, ‘Mastery’, I couldn’t use it properly and instead let my magic power gone to waste. Cian wanted to at least, keep the range to its minimum range as to not waste any magic power. But Cian finds it surprisingly hard to do—thus, he ended the fight earlier than he had planned. He was still planning to keep Duke Rabilla in a corner and let him use whatever trump cards he had kept in his sleeves as to be a good demonstration for Cian.
However, his magic power was running out extremely fast and now, he was almost dried in magic power…
Fortunately, his [ Vector Body ] doesn’t run in magic power but his mental power instead. Thus, when his Magic power depleted, he wouldn’t be helpless…
But that was a good lecture…
“Forbidden Spells… is it…” Cian narrowed his eyes. Another thing to watch out for…

“… …” The Vampire Lord and all the rest of the group could only stand there, dumbfounded and in disbelief. What happened had already transcended their understanding.
“What… just happened…?”
Silvia swallowed her in a daze, “What we did see… was just an illusion… it seems…”
“NO! THAT’S NOT WHAT I MEANT! When did we become part of this illusion, IS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!!”
“I DON’T KNOW!!” Silvia cried out. Large beads of sweat covered her face. She actually falls into an illusion…! How the heck is this possible…?
When?
When did it happen…?!
“What do you think Vampire Lord?!” One of them immediately asked the Vampire Lord as she was the one known to have the strongest Mystic Eyes in the Empire. In this kind of illusion surely…
All eyes immediately gathered towards the girl standing in front and in that instant… all of them froze.
Just like always, the girl that lack emotions on her face did not show any emotions——only that the crimson eyes were widened in shock.
Revealing a pair of serious eyes that were staring at the current scene.
“…His Highness power… is dangerous…” The Vampire Lord muttered, only those simple words.
And yet, everyone how heard her turned mute.

“…Master, is this really alright…?”
As Cian was standing within the room, a soft voice called out from behind. There, Ruka was standing, blood dyed her body as if she had just undergone a massacre.
Cian narrowed his eyes and glanced at Ruka, “Are you questioning my decision, Ruka?”
“I dare not, master!!” Ruka hastily responded with a pale expression. She hurriedly retroceded in fear. The Cian in front of her was completely different from what she knows; cold-blooded and cruel—she was certain that Cian would kill her without hesitation if ever she makes him annoyed.
“Just do what I ask, kill and robbed everything you see within this uselessly large mansion. Gold, Silver, trinkets, artworks, everything—take all of it without leaving a thing behind.”
“I, I already did everything you wanted, master… the things were stored inside the ring the master gave me…” Trembling, Ruka offered the ring towards Cian. Cian looks at it and just responded with a ‘hmmm’ when his gaze landed on the people behind her.
“I did say… all…” His voice dropping a dozen degrees more.
“Your, your highness!! Please, please have mercy!!” A woman with a brown colored skin. She looked like an African back on Earth, but her hair was straight and she was extremely beautiful.
Sharp eyebrows, piercing hawk gaze and a beautiful hourglass-like body. She was like a darker version of Bar Refaeli…
She kneeled in the ground, two people behind her. It was the two daughters of Duke Rabilla and they were similarly throwing gazes of hatred at Cian. Their mother was now 132 years old. Her daughters Roa and Priscilla are 18 and 29 respectively. Neither of the women was inferior to each other in terms of their beauty, they were both very attractive women.
The three of them had the same exact blonde colored hair and blue hawk-like eyes. It was like looking at the same woman at different stages of her life.
Roa still had an innocent face and resembled a tightly sealed flower bud. Her hands and feet were thin and the swelling of her chest was also quite meager. Instead, there was this peculiar charm to her, she was like a little child that was fascinated by everything around her.
In contrast to that, Priscilla was like a lovely flower that was ready to bloom. Her body had a roundness to its shape, both her breasts and her hips were moderately curved but it was clearly being pushed up by her clothes. She was protecting Ria behind her back, even though her face was evidently cramped due to fear, her well-featured eyebrows were lifted up as she courageously stared at Cian with a glare.
If Roa is a bud and Priscilla is a blooming flower, then their mother; Roathauria Onbricheria, can be compared to a bouquet of ripe flowers.
Her voluptuous figure was tightly bound up by her clothes and there were not many mature females that could match her allure and beauty. This is to say that she already gave birth to two children, yet her body did not droop anywhere and she continued to maintain her exquisite body proportions.
However, although all of them exuded beauty, Cian didn’t even bat an eye. “You hated me, wishing to kill me… that I understand. I killed your father, husband, and I will take everything from you as well… I will not apologize, you can hate me as much as you want, I will carry on that hatred as a Son of a Demon…”
“No, your highness! Please have mercy… my daughters—”
“Do it…” Cian turned around and ordered. Ruka who was standing beside him shivered. She bit her lips, but when she looks at Cian, her expression paled.
Gritting her teeth, she pulled her short sword which was just roughly half of that a meter and walked towards the mother and daughter…
“Your Highness! Please!!” Roathauria cried out in despair but Cian neither turned back nor glance.
As Ruka closed the three meters distance, Priscilla who grits her teeth moved her hand and was about to cast a spell in desperation—when,
“Stay your hand, son… this amount of blood is enough for tonight…” A voice rang out from the darkness.
Hearing it, Cian’s eyes narrowed. He turned around and saw, behind the mother-daughter was woman accompanied by a group of six—
Most eye-catching was the woman leading the group.
With eyebrows like crescent moons and eyes like stars, her perfect ratios were accentuated by her backless black dress, making her look suffocatingly beautiful. Her jade-like skin that was extremely unusual for a demon, a unique even among royalty and two lofty mountain peaks could easily make anyone start daydreaming.
A gorgeous beauty was reflected in everyone’s eyes. A face as if delicately sculpted, shiny golden hair, a high nose, and eyes like luxurious rubies. Just a glance could send anyone’s imagination running wild. The tear-shaped mole under the beauty’s eye looked like a masterful brushstroke. This beauty was in no way inferior to Roathauria, in fact, perhaps even more superior.
Walking with noble grace and beauty, this was exactly the current Empress of the Demon Empire; Sitana Mamanium Vorn Stormfury. She smiled suggestively as he looked at Cian.
“Mother…?”
