Episode 91 Verification of Wing
After completing my karate training, I left Master Mitsuhashi at the dojo and went to the Adventurer's Guild for a while before going to the Grassland Dungeon. Master Mitsuhashi was in the process of learning 'Javelin', and he wanted to continue working on it.
I entered the Grassland Dungeon and proceeded to find a place where there were no adventurers. On the way, I defeated one AttackBoar and one Orc, and found a place where there were no adventurers or monsters. There, I launched the Sage System.
I activated the magic named 'Wing' as a pseudonym. A surfboard-like wing that shone red appeared in front of me. The reason for the shape was that when the D-Particles released their D-Power, the larger the surface area, the easier it was for them to exert their power.
For example, if it was pure power, 'Push' was better than 'Cone Arrow'. However, since 'Cone Arrow' had penetrating power, 'Cone Arrow' had higher power to defeat monsters.
I also considered a radiator-like shape, but decided against it because a complicated shape would require a large amount of magical power. If I sat normally and flew around slowly, it flew as I thought.
However, when it suddenly decelerated, it was likely I would be thrown off. It looked like I needed something like a seat with a proper seat belt.
I thought about making it with D-Particles, but that would make the wings smaller and less propulsive. There was a limit to the amount of D-Particles that could be collected.
I put a barbell weight borrowed from the Adventurer's Guild on the D-Particle Wing to see how much weight it could withstand. Even with a weight of 150 kg on it, it floated, so I judged that it was enough.
Next, I measured the speed with a stopwatch. I put on the same weight as my body weight, flew 100 meters, measured the time, and calculated the speed.
It seemed to go up to 80 km/h. However, if the speed was increased, the consumption of D-Particles would increase, shortening the time the magic would last. At 30 km/h, it could fly for about 30 minutes, but at 80 km/h, it could only fly for about 5 minutes.
With that cruising range, I could cross the 14th floor's lake. The problem was that I needed a seat, something like a horse saddle.

By the way, the amount of magical power consumed was drastically reduced to about 30% of that of 'Remote Plate', making it a magic that could be learned at magic level 8.
After leaving the Grassland Dungeon, I was introduced to a craftsman at the Adventurer's Guild. I was introduced to a leather craftsman named Hirosue, who was in his fifties.(TN:That's a rather strange name.)
"Fumu, you ordered something unusual. How many years has it been since I made a saddle."
"I want to be able to fix my body in place with a seat belt."
"That's fine, but what about the stirrups?"
"I will put my legs forward, so please make it able to hold them there."
"Would you like to add a handle to support your body? If you attach it to the D-Particle Wing, it will look like an origami crane."
I imagined it. It certainly looked like an origami crane. The only difference was that the tips of the wings were not sharp.
"How much will it cost to produce?"
"Because it's the first time. How about 1.5 million?"
I accepted.
"If you need something like this, is it for the lake on the 14th floor?"
"Yeah, do you know it?"
"Oh, I used to be an adventurer. I've fought the OrcKing on the 20th floor."
"Really. What kind of monster is the OrcKing?"
"That's right. The troublesome thing is the armor that the OrcKing is equipped with. The Attack Magic that could be learned at magic level '10' or less couldn't penetrate the armor."
"Was 'Prominence Nova' no good?"
"Yeah, that armor protects the whole body."
The OrcGeneral's scale armor only protected its upper body. However, the OrcKing's armor seemed to protect the whole body, including the legs.
"The OrcKing is about two and a half meters tall, has enough strength to crush hard stones, and is a monster that wields a Magic Equipment called a Trident."
"What is that Trident?"
"It's a Magic Equipment that shoots out magic cannonballs. When he thrusts out his Trident, it shoots out magic cannonballs."
"If you get hit, you'll probably die."
"Of course. If you get hit, you'll definitely die."
"How is his movement?"
"He's quick, and he's mastered spearmanship, so he's good at fighting. My team of five attacked, but we couldn't defeat him, and escaped with 'Escape Ball'."
"But, the OrcKing is a humanoid monster, so won't it teleport with you?"
"No, he's too big. The 'Escape Ball' can only recognize a person up to 230 centimeters tall."
There was a record that the tallest person in history was 272 centimeters. There must have been people taller than 230 centimeters in the world, but those people were not transfer targets for the Escape Ball.
After hearing the information about the OrcKing, I let out a sigh. I felt that it was a stronger enemy than I imagined.
It looked like I would need magic stronger than 'High Blade' to defeat it. It might then be necessary to increase the properties added to the D-Particle primary mutation.
I finished my order and returned to my apartment.
"I don't know what to do. Last time I added
I shuddered remembering the pain I felt when
"Wait, wait, before that, I should think about whether I could create powerful magic without adding new characteristics."
I gave up on
Next was
"Heat, depending on how you use it, can become a powerful weapon, so it seems like it can also be a powerful magic ..."
