Episode 116 Cleaning magic
Even after summer vacation ended, Tesshin hadn't given up on the Orc Castle's treasury yet.
"Persevering, huh."
When I said this to Tesshin, whom I met at the Adventurer's Guild, Tesshin smiled wryly.
"It's too soon to give up after a month or two. Among the adventurers I know, there are adventurers who have searched for the treasury for about six months in a row."
"Half a year, that's amazing. I just started looking for an ArmorBear's den, but I almost gave up."
"My students would laugh at me for having no guts."
That might be so. If you discover treasuries and treasure chests, you can earn more than the annual income of ordinary workers. It's really laughable if you give up on it in less than a month.
"By the way, Tesshin-san. What's your Life Magic level?"
"I'm magic level 6."
"It's one step higher than when I heard it before."
The way Tesshin's magic level rose was within the bounds of common sense. But, Kamijou's magic level was 6 as well. It was abnormal even though he just started raising his magic level from 2 a while ago.
When I told Tesshin about it, he nodded in agreement for some reason.
"C-class adventurers and above are like that. You should think of them as monsters."
"I"m also D-class, so next is C-class."
"D-class and C-class are different. Exams for C-class and above will be orders of magnitude more difficult."
Since you would be able to enter advanced dungeons starting from C-class, I guessed that was what made them be so strict.
"How is that C-class adventurer doing?"
"He learned 'Blade' and 'Javelin', so he's hunting LizardSoldiers on the 8th floor of the Suigetsu Dungeon. Moreover, he's with Master Mitsuhashi."
For some reason, it seemed that he was acquainted with Master Mitsuhashi. When he learned that Master Mitsuhashi was also learning Life Magic, they started diving into the dungeon together.
Perhaps because of that, Master Mitsuhashi's magic level was starting to rise.

"Hmm, it looks like I will be overtaken soon. I have to do my best, too."
Hearing that Master Mitsuhashi had reached magic level 6, the same as himself, Tesshin was fired up.
After chatting with Tesshin, I returned to my apartment.
Recently, I had been doing a lot of research on cleaning magic in my apartment. The first cleaning magic I created became something like an air purifier, so I was researching other methods.
One was to create something like a tornado with D-Particles and suck in dust and debris. After trying it out, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't the thing to do to generate a tornado in the room.
The tornado dragged in and scattered various things. The reason was that it was too powerful. It just needed to clean the dust off. I tried adjusting the strength while trying several times, but it didn't work.
"Haa, no good. Any other ideas ..."
After thinking about it for a while, an idea came to me. Like a high-pressure washer, D-Particles were ejected onto the walls and floor, causing dust and lint to soar, and were captured and collected by D-Particles in the air.
A high-pressure washer was a machine that amplified the pressure of tap water and used the power of high-pressure water to clean exterior walls, fences, stone pavements, cars, etc.
I built magic using the Sage System. Once ejected, the D-Particles captured dust and lint and returned to collect them in one place, and then were ejected again.
D-Particles were collected with the cleaning magic, and they took on a shape similar to maracas, a kind of musical instrument that makes a sound like 'Shaa, Shaa'. There were holes at the tip and top of the spherical part. D-Particles were ejected from the hole at the tip, and the D-Particles that captured the floating dust and lint came back to the hole at the top, gathering the dust and lint in one place.
High-pressure washers used high-pressure water, so they could only be used outdoors. However, this cleaning magic used only D-Particles, so there was no problem using it indoors.
I tried the cleaning magic in my apartment room. A cleaning magic tool like maracas was formed. I picked up the shining, faintly yellow cleaning magic tool and activated it. From its tip, D-Particles that shone like powder in sunlight were ejected and sprayed onto the floor.
The D-Particles knocked the dust and lint off the floor and floated them in the air. Then, they caught the dust and lint in the air and returned to the cleaning magic tool. It made almost no sound. The sound of the D-Particles hitting the floor was faint, so it should be possible to do this even at night.
The floor became cleaner than I expected because the D-Particles entered even the narrow gaps. The duration of the cleaning magic was twenty minutes. Right before the magic was canceled, the ejection of D-Particles stopped and the cleaning magic tool flashed.
When it flashes, throw the cleaning magic tool into the trash can or a plastic bag. That's the procedure. This cleaning was easy and fun.
I tried using the cleaning magic tool on various things. I tried it on clothes, a chest of drawers, and shoes. The dirt on my clothes wasn't cleaned. It didn't seem to replace a washing machine.
The cleaning magic should be completed with a little more adjustment. I named it 'D-Clean'. There was just one small problem. In order to learn it, magic level 3 was required.
I wanted to make it possible for ordinary people who were not adventurers to learn magic at level 1. However, it seemed that something must be sacrificed for that. In the end, by shortening the duration of the cleaning magic to 80% and reducing the amount of D-Particles emitted, I created something that could be learned at magic level 1.
'D-Clean' was prepared with a regular version that could be learned at magic level 3 and a degraded version that could be learned at magic level 1.
I decided to do a little more research on the magic like an air purifier that I created at the beginning. I thought there might be a demand if it could remove pollen and dust from the air. However, the current performance was half-baked, so a little more research was needed.

Kamijou was hunting LizardSoldiers with Master Mitsuhashi.
He swung his short sword towards the attacking LizardSoldier. QuintBlade was activated accordingly. The V-shaped plate cut through the LizardSoldier.
"Master Mitsuhashi, what do you think of my QuintBlade?"
Kamijou had learned Nankuru Karate for a short period of time.
"Isn't it now activated smoothly."
"That's right. If I keep hunting a little longer, it will reach magic level 7. Then it will be SeventhBlade."
Kamijou said in a good mood.
"But, it's been almost a month. You have to go back, don't you?"
"That's right. I'd like to train here a little longer ..."
"Your friends are waiting for you, aren't they? You can come again when you take a long vacation next time."
"That's right. By the way, Grimm-sensei said that in order to become a full-fledged Life Wizard, you must learn 11 Life Magics, but how many have you learned, Master?"
" 'Push', 'Cone Arrow', 'Thunder Bowl', 'Airbag', 'Blade', and 'Javelin'."
"Kuh! , I'm losing. I still haven't learned 'Airbag'."
"It's only been a month by now, hasn't it. Don't be so greedy."
"But, I want to learn 'High Blade' and 'Wing' as soon as possible."
Master Mitsuhashi nodded in agreement.
"It's 'High Blade' that seems to be able to defeat pretty powerful monsters, and 'Wing' that can fly in the sky. However, it will be impossible to learn during this stay."
Hearing that, Kamijou let out a sigh.
"Actually, it's better to learn while being taught directly by Grimm-sensei, but I have no choice but to hear something like a trick and learn it after returning to my hometown."
