Episode 230 Underground Shopping Center's Altar
After retrieving Taabou from Gotou, we started advancing through the ruins on the 6th floor. At the end of the line, I walked with Tamegorou.
"Gotou-san, I heard that Akagi-san-tachi's high fever is a curse, what do you think?"
After hearing my question, Gotou shrugged his shoulders.
"Even though it's a dungeon, there's no curse. I think they might have inhaled poison or something in the treasure room."
Gotou's thoughts were the same as mine. It would be scary if there was really a curse.
"You two, it's BoneGolems. And they're visiting as a trio."
Fukamachi raised a warning voice.
A BoneGolem appeared from the left front corner. It was a golem made of bones that looked like it was over two meters tall. Gotou gave instructions to defeat one of them each.
The leader of this team was Gotou, a veteran B-class adventurer. Following his instructions, we started fighting.
I activated QuintOgrePush on the approaching BoneGolem. The high-speed rotating Ogre Plate repelled the BoneGolem that was likely to weigh 200 kilos.

When I looked at Gotou and Fukamachi, they were about to finish theirs off. Gotou pierced the head with a 'Crash Bullet' and Fukamachi stabbed the head with a spear that seemed to be a Magic Weapon.
Tamegorou took the magic stone in its mouth and brought it to me.
"Well done. Good job."
Tamegorou looked happy when I petted it. I didn't know how much intelligence the Magic Core possessed, but it seemed likely that it had more intelligence than a normal dog.

Gotou nodded. He must have seen Tamegorou fighting.
We went down the main street and arrived at the church. I returned Tamegorou to my shadow. Fukamachi took the lead and started guiding.
There were two entrances to the church, and Fukamachi opened a small door that looked like a back door and entered. There was a passage ahead, and the walls of the passage had been destroyed and there were holes here and there.
Fukamachi entered a hole, entered a large warehouse-like room, and moved left and right while avoiding many shelves. Thinking it was a maze, I proceeded cautiously until we reached a place with a large hole in the floor.
"This is the entrance to the underground shopping center."
Fukamachi raised his voice. We jumped down into the hole and entered the underground shopping center. It was dark inside, so Fukamachi attached a head-mounted light.
Gotou and I put on Night Vision Goggles. Gotou also seemed to have had Night Vision Goggles. The underground shopping center consisted of passages like a grid and square buildings.
We looked for BloodBats and started walking through the underground shopping center. We encountered our first BloodBat. A large bat fluttered its wings and attacked.
It was 'Roll' for bats. I activated 'Roll' and rotated the BloodBat. The damaged BloodBat fell to the ground.
I killed the fallen BloodBat with the Black Thoughts Staff's Rapier Thrust. Unfortunately, the Antipyretic didn't drop.
"More are coming."
I could hear Fukamachi's words.
A group of BloodBats came. 'Multiple Attack' was effective against such monsters, but this Life Magic was not registered with the Magic Agency.
I planned to use it if it got dangerous, but I didn't want to show it to Gotou or Fukamachi. If I used a lot of magic that wasn't registered with the Magic Agency, the fact that I was hiding Life Magic would be exposed.
Gotou and Fukamachi would be here this time, so it should be fine. As expected, Gotou used an Attack Magic called 'Shotgun'. This was a magic that scattered many Magic Bullets, and had the power of a shotgun.
Fukamachi used a Muscle Magic called 'Top Speed' that specialized in speed enhancement, and killed the BloodBats while running around at a speed that couldn't be followed by the eyes.
After killing about fifty BloodBats in total, the attacking monsters disappeared.
"Looks like this is the end. Did they drop the Antipyretic?"
We searched for Antipyretics and found only three.
We needed a few more, so we wandered around the underground shopping center in search of BloodBats. When we finally had five Antipyretics, we noticed something like an altar in the corner of the underground shopping center.
"There's an altar here too, it seems the people here were very religious."
I nodded at Gotou's words.
"Religious, is it, maybe they've sealed something dangerous."
"Seal, is it. That's possible. By the way, do you believe in God?"
"I think there might be a higher-rank being than humans, but I don't think that's the God that humans believe in."
"I see, if you're exploring the dungeon, I understand that you would think like that."
There should be an existence that created the dungeon. It was widely believed to be more civilized than humans and was able to do things humans could not.
A rumbling sound was heard from the altar. I turned my eyes to the altar, and the ground there cracked, and something was crawling out.
Something bad was about to come out. We sensed it and ran away. This was because it was disadvantageous to fight in a narrow space like the underground shopping center.
If you used powerful magic, you would get caught up in it. That was the risk when fighting in a narrow space. We didn't want to blow ourselves up, so we ran away from the underground shopping center.
A CyclopsZombie crawled out from under the altar. It followed us, crawling down the passageway. It was too big to stand up.
We escaped up through the hole we entered. The CyclopsZombie tried to get out of the hole after us, but the hole was not big enough to let its giant body through.
We slipped out of the church and turned around.
"I can hear an unpleasant sound."
As Gotou said, the sound of the CyclopsZombie trying to force its way out of the hole could be heard. Then, the church exploded and the CyclopsZombie crawled out.
Its gigantic body was about 8 meters, and it was so big that I was amazed at how well it could pass through the passages of the underground shopping center.
