Episode 491 The Art of Body Manipulation

I went to the workroom with Elmore. I sat down on the couch in the room and took out the scroll of "The Depths of Body Manipulation".

What do you mean by 'the inner workings of physical manipulation'?"

"Well, I think it's like your body becomes more flexible and you can move around as you want to."

'Maybe it describes a special training method to master physical manipulation.

I felt something that did not add up to Métis' opinion.

'Well, I think that would be beneficial because then I could teach others, but what do you think?'

I feel like if they were going to teach such a training method, it would have been publicized. Because I don't think I'm the first person to get a scroll of "The Art of Body Manipulation".

Even though they are rare, the depth scrolls are known. I think there is a high probability that someone has gotten one before. With that in mind, I opened the scroll.

It is drawn like a magic circle. There is nothing written on it. I began to pour magic power into the scroll. At that moment, some information flows into my head and is imprinted, and all the nerves in my body become clear as if they were activated, sending various physical information all at once.

After about three minutes of this state, a kind of switch was born in my brain and it was over. At the same time, the magic circle on the scroll disappears.

What was that?"

What's wrong?"

'There's one more switch in my head. Apparently it's a switch that activates the nerves connected to my muscles."

What happens when you flip that switch?"

All the muscles in your body, but only the ones you can move consciously, and you can move all of them consciously."

'Sounds like a normal thing to me?'

No, we don't move our bodies with each muscle in mind. For example, we only think of each part of the body, such as lifting the right hand or putting the left foot forward one step.

Some athletes, dancers, martial artists, and fighters, I explain, are consciously trying to move, but that's only a small percentage.

It is said that when the depth switch is turned on, the motor nerves become aware of all the connected muscles and are able to control each of them individually. However, controlling each muscle individually is not something that should be done, as it puts a tremendous burden on the brain.

Stolen story; please report.

However, since they can be aware of unnecessary muscle movements and excessive muscle strength, they can check and correct them. In other words, by being aware of how the muscles are working, we can achieve movements that are closer to the ideal.

I decided to give it a try, and chose the Nidan kick as one of the kicking techniques that I am not very good at. There are different types of Nidan kick, and Mitsuhashi Shihan uses the technique of releasing a lower right kick and then using the reaction to bring the right leg back to release an upper left spinning kick.

If I imitate him and throw a second kick, I end up rolling on the floor on my back. If I adjust the speed of the kick or use a middle kick instead of an upper kick, I can land on my feet, but if I quickly kick from the lower level to the upper level, I will fall on my back. I heard that there is such a two-stage kick, but I really want to land on my feet.

However, Master Mitsuhashi delivers a two-step kick at the same speed, but lands it properly with his feet. I don't know how he can do that.

I went to the underground practice hall, put a mat on the floor, and then tried to release a two-step kick on it. I still fell on my back. Then, I turned on the Okugi switch and did the Nidan Kick again.

Then, I found out which muscles I was using to release the two-stage kick. As a result, he found that he was using unnecessary muscles, which restricted his movements and prevented him from moving as he had imagined.

I released a two-step kick, being conscious not to use unnecessary muscles. At first it didn't work, but after practicing several times with muscle awareness, I succeeded.

Moreover, the speed of the kicking increased. When I performed "Gale Dance" as a test, I found that I had been using unnecessary muscles unconsciously and getting in the way of my technique.

Master Mitsuhashi had warned me that I was putting on a strange amount of strength, but I now know the cause of that. If I practice with this, it may be possible to use the "Skanda ring" and move with twelve times the speed.

'Congratulations, you have mastered "The Art of Body Manipulation". You have mastered the art of body manipulation.

Not yet. "You just stopped working the muscles that were interfering with your movement. Next time, you'll be practicing using muscles you haven't been using."

While it was relatively easy to deactivate and unobstruct the muscles that were in the way, the next step would be to use the muscles that were not being used.

For example, some people can twitch their ears and others cannot. The majority of people cannot move their ears, but it is said that they can learn to move their ears with training. I would have to do that training on all the muscles in my body that I don't use very often. It will take time, but if I can do it, my combat skills will improve dramatically.

Let's discuss with Master Mitsuhashi and come up with a training plan. Master Mitsuhashi is such a genius karate practitioner that he is trying to move all the muscles in his body consciously even without "The Inner Meaning of Body Manipulation". He also studies and knows a lot about the skeleton, muscles, and other body structures, so I thought it would be worth asking his opinion.

Now that I had an idea of what the "depths of body manipulation" were, the next step was divine authority. I began to think about how I could use the divine will in battle.

Divine authority seems to spring up when triggered by emotions. But if it is to be used in battle, one must be able to use it at will.

Its use is also engraved in my soul, and according to it, it resembles a meditation technique. Esoteric Buddhism has a 'moon-ring view'.

mandarin orange (esp. the satsuma mandarin, Citrus unshiu)

There was a meditation method called "The Way of the Buddha," which was similar to the one I had used.

Imagine the full moon in your mind and concentrate on it until you see it clearly. When it becomes clearly visible, the idea is to magnify it and continue until it eventually becomes the same as the universe in your mind.

The meditation even specified breathing techniques and the shape of the moon to be imaged. It seems to be different from ordinary moon-ring meditation. I think I'll call this meditation method "Shenwei Gekirin-kan.

As he continued with his kamui moon-ring view, the moon in his mind became a gate and the power of the kamui flowed in. The amount was slight, but the power was overwhelming.

The question is how to use it. I tried various ways and found that it has a high affinity with magic power. So I tried mixing it with magic power to see if it could be used to activate life magic.

Mixing the power of the deity with the magic power, he activated the "Cone Arrow". Since it was a "Cone Arrow" without multiple activation, the D-particle cone flew like a hum and pierced the concrete blocks of the underground practice field with a gulp.

A D-particle cone without multiple activation should bounce off a concrete block. But I did see it pierce. This power is comparable to a sevenfold activation.
