Episode 64 Magic counter
Alisa made a face that it didn't make sense. She thought they were reasonably strong, but she didn't think she could reach the top of the academy as an individual.
"Why is it us?"
The principal, Kiryuin, made a sour face.
"Among the students with top-class abilities, you are the only ones forming a team."
"Among the third-years, there should be people who are more capable than us. Shouldn't those people just form a team?"
"With that in mind, the vice-principal is proceeding with the formation of the team. However, we may not be able to improve teamwork with less than a month remaining. That's why I came up with the idea of having Kurotsuki-kun join the group of you guys who have the ability and teamwork."
Since the selection team was limited to five people, it seemed that they thought about having Kurotsuki participate with Amane and the others.
"But, what about Kurotsuki-senpai?"
"I'm thinking of having Kurotsuki-kun play an active role as a guerrilla soldier."
If it's a guerrilla soldier, teamwork wouldn't matter much. It's a pretty sloppy idea, but it made sense.
The vice-principal looked around at Amane and the others.
"Let me tell you, the favorite is the team I'm organizing. You guys are insurance in case of emergency."
They thought that the vice-principal had changed his evaluation of Life Magic and decided to let them participate, but it seemed that wasn't the case. Alisa let out a sigh of disappointment. After all, it seemed that the vice-principal was stubborn scum.
"Vice-principal, you're being disrespectful to them. I think that you, Grimm's students, are suitable for the selection team, but the vice-principal and the other teachers say no."
If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Amane glared at the vice-principal. The vice-principal looked away from them.
"I'm sorry, but would you be able to participate in joint training with Kurotsuki-kun after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays?"
It was the principal's request, so Alisa and the others accepted it. If it were a request from the vice-principal, they would have refused immediately.

On the weekend of that week, I went to the grassland dungeon with Alisa and the others.
"Grimm-sensei, is this a beginner level dungeon?"
Amane asked.
"Oh, I'm thinknig of going boss hunting."
"Is it that OrcKnight? Will we be okay?"
"The three of you are practicing quintuple activation, aren't you?"
"Grimm-sensei, I'm fine too. When I reached magic level 7, I learned 'Lightning Bomb' and 'Mana Watch'."
I praised Yukari.
Amane made an envious face.
" 'Lightning Bomb' is beautiful with sparks flying around. Isn't there such a beautiful Life Magic?"
"I don't know if it's beautiful or not, but there are Life Magics called 'Thunder Bowl' and 'Thunder Arrow'."
Alisa made a face like 'I knew it'.
"I heard from the principal, did you get a magic book in the dungeon?"
"Don't you think about the possibility that I became as Sage?"
Amane interrupted the conversation between me and Alisa.
"Grimm-sensei, you don't feel like a Sage. A Sage is a type like the principal."
Does that mean you can't feel intelligence or dignity from me? That's fine.
"Whether it's a Sage or a magic book, it's a secret. Don't talk too much."
"Ye ~ s."
Everyone replied.
We dived into the grassland dungeon and headed for the secret passage. We paid attention to our surroundings as we entered the hidden passage, defeated the Orcs and Lizardmen, and went to the entrance of the boss room.
"Unless I judge it to be dangerous, I won't touch it. Everyone will defeat the boss."
"Do you have any advice?"
Alisa confirmed. 'It's a sack hit' I replied.(TN:Everyone ganging up and beating on the same target.)
"As expected, it's impossible you're a Sage."
Yukari said. The other three nodded when they heard that.
"Kuh, hurry up and go!"
Everyone entered the boss room. The OrcKnight braced itself. Alisa and the others spread out and took a fan-shaped position centering on the OrcKnight.
The OrcKnight attacked Amane. Amane threw a QuintPush. When the knocked-back OrcKnight tried to stand up, Alisa's QuintJavelin hit and dented the OrcKnight's armor.
Life Magic and Attack Magic hit the OrcKnight one after another and stopped its life. The OrcKnight disappeared, and something remained on the floor of the boss room.
ALisa and Yukari smiled.
"Grimm-sensei, my magic level has risen."
"Me too."
It seemed that the two heard the thumping sound inside their bodies.
"Congratulations. After all sack hitting was the correct answer, right?"
Alisa laughed and answered.
"I'll leave it at that. Now let's confirm the boss drop."
Everyone confirmed the boss drop. Three things had fallen. One was the green magic stone
And, another was a gold bullion called a gold bar. This size would go for about 500,000.
The last thing left was something called a magic power counter, which measured and displayed the amount of magic power. The shape resembled what was called a military identification tag, or ID tag.
A glossy silver tag that displayed the amount of remaining magic power of the person who touched it. As a test, when I touched it, it displayed the number 3,000. The displayed number was the number used for magic characters.
Alisa and the others were 600-700 each. This magic power counter was also a type of magic tool, but it was probably cheap because it dropped in large quantities.
When I asked Alisa and the others if they would sell it, they replied that they would use it themselves. I thought it might not be necessary because Alisa could use the Analysis Magic 'Mana' to measure the amount of magical power, but since 'Mana' consumed magical power, I was told that a magic power counter that didn't consume magical power was necessary.
