Episode 81 Oak Castle (1)
I was happy to hear that Alisa and the others won the selected team competition. I've been hunting OakKnights as usual, but I was thinking about entering the Oak Castle soon.
In order to enter the 12th floor Oak Castle, I had to defeat the six OakKnights standing in front of the castle gate and enter inside, or jump over the high castle wall and enter inside.
I decided to defeat the OakKnights and enter. Even if I jumped over the castle walls, there would only be more OakKnights waiting there.
Hidden behind the trees in the forest, I watched the gatekeeper OakKnights, I activated 'Sensing Zone' and 'Auto Shield' and fired a series of QuintJavelins.
Having killed off two of the OakKnights, I jumped out of the forest and stood before the OakKnights. The moment I entered the range of 'Thunder Bowl', I fired a series of QuintThunderBowls.
The results of my quick cast practice paid off, and I succeeded in knocking out all the OakKnights. I quickly finished off the OakKnights.
"Fuuuu."
After taking a deep breath, I pushed the gate open. There was the entrance to the castle before me, and when I entered there, a wide space spread out like a hotel lobby.
It was rustic, but a tapestry was hung on the wall. The picture woven into it was the figure of an OakGeneral kneeling before the OakKing sitting on the throne.
"Well, where should I look for it."
I started investigating from the right side of the castle. There were stairs on the right, going up to the second floor. The second floor was lined with corridors and doors surrounded by gray walls.
While being cautious, I opened the door in front of me. My eyes met with those of an OakKnight trying to take off its metal armor. I fired a TripleThunderBowl and finished it off with a QuintBlade.
"Fuuuu, it's bad for my heart to have an OakKnight in the first room."
I examined the room. There were tables and chairs, but they were shoddy. Nothing to worry about.

I searched the next room, but there was nothing worth mentioning. I searched room after room and fought OakKnights, but I saw nothing of a treasury.
This castle didn't seem to belong to the OakKing. There were many OakKnight rooms on a small scale. After examining the second floor, I went up to the third floor.
When I entered the central room on the third floor, there were three beds lined up. This looked like a bedroom. I looked around and saw nothing, so I tried to go out into the corridor.
At that time, three OakKnights came in through the door. I reflexively fired a QuintThunderBowl. One OakKnight fell down, and the other two attacked.
Two longswords were swung at me. I jumped towards the beds. The longswords grazed my back, but the leather armor seemed to protect me.
However, without being given time to activate my magic, the OakKnights attacked again. While jumping towards the window, I shot a QuintPush at the window to destroy it.
I jumped out through the broken window. When I looked at the castle from the air, I could see the balcony on the fourth floor. I activated 'Catapult' and hundreds of D-Particle Leaves wrapped around me and threw me up towards the balcony.
I landed safely on a balcony about five meters wide. I could hear the OakKnights screaming from below. Things got bad. I thought about escaping like this, but it was frustrating that I've come this far without a harvest.
There was only one entrance to the balcony, and the OakKnights would soon be here. Because the OakKnights saw me flying to the balcony on the fourth floor.
I arranged a large table on the balcony and made a barricade. Then, I waited for the OakKnights to gather.
A short while later, OakKnights swarmed onto the balcony. In the room below, there were three OakKnights, but now there were twelve. Then, in front of the barricade, they were in a ball shape and tried to move the barricade away.
I was waiting for that moment. I activated 'High Blade' with seven activations, and activated the SeventhHighBlade along with a movement that swung the Tatakanata that was held sideways.
The SeventhHighBlade attacked and bisected the OakKnights that were clustered. The SeventhHighBlade didn't lose its momentum after cutting the twelve OakKnights in half, and cut through the wall of the castle before stopping.
A roar echoed and the castle shook. I started picking up the green magic stones
I looked around and noticed something strange. There was no entrance to the stairs from earlier. Where there should have been an entrance, there was only a small room like a storage room.
I would have liked to take a closer look, but I didn't have time. It made that much of a roar. OakKnights throughout the castle would gather. At that moment, a sound echoed from the floor. A thumping sound resounded, and the floorboards shifted to the side as a doorway opened.
An OakKnight came out from there. Of course, our eyes met. I threw a TripleThunderBowl. The OakKnight, who received it in the chest, fell backwards and tumbled down the stairs.
"That surprised me ..."
I hurried down the stairs. The OakKnight was lying down in the middle of the stairs. I finished it off and headed down. There was no door on the way, and when I went down to the bottom, there was a passage.
The passage was quite wide, five meters high and three meters wide. After going through it, there was a big door.
"Is this the treasure room?"
I opened the door. Inside was a dome-shaped room containing twelve black boxes. Four of them were open and empty inside.
Did someone take out the contents? When I looked closely at a black box, it looked like a safe. There was a keyhole, and I couldn't open it without a key.
Where is the key? There were two entrances to the room. One was the door I came in from and the other was the door in the back. The other side of that door was suspicious, and I had an ominous feeling.
But, I couldn't give up without confirming it. I decided to proceed at my own peril. The moment I touched the doorknob, something pushed me into the room. And then there was the sound of a bang and the door closed. I stood up and looked ahead. An OakGeneral stood in the center of the large room.
Seeing me as I entered, the OakGeneral laughed with its large nose and conspicuous fangs. It was 230 cm tall and wore black scale armor. Also, it held a greatsword in its hand. If I were cut by something like that, I would die instantly in one hit.
