Episode 67 Sixth floor KingSnake
Seeing the power of the SeventhBlade, Karina decided to learn Life Magic. On the other hand, Kurotsuki, who saw the same thing, remembered what Kazamatsuri had said. Beware of Life Wizards.
"However, Kaizuka-sensei and I alone won't be enough to train you. What should we do?"
If Karina and Kaizuka went all out, they could defeat Alisa and the others. However, that went beyond the scope of mock battles. They didn't know the defense power of Alisa and the others who used Life Magic, so they couldn't go all out.
"Gouda-sensei, couldn't he help you?"
"It seems that he can't take his hands away from the team members selected by the vice-principal."
"It can't be helped. They have no choice but to train in combat. They're F-class adventurers. Let's train them in the Suigetsu Dungeon."
Kaizuka also agreed.
"However, you should avoid the OrcKnight on the 12th floor."
"Yes, I know."
After saying that, Karina left Kaizuka and went to Alisa and the others.
"Hey, you guys. How is Grimm-sensei doing?"
"Yes, he's fine. He said that he would polish his Life Magic against the OrcKnight on the 12th floor of the Suigetsu Dungeon."
Alisa answered as their representative.
"He's solo, isn't it. Is it okay, people usually act in groups over there for the OrcKnights."
"If it's Grimm-sensei, it'll be fine."
"Hmm. By the way, I hear you're teaching Life Magic to first-year students, right?"
"Yes, I'm teaching with permission from Grimm-sensei."
"If that's the case, can you teach me Life Magic as well?"
You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.
"But, aren't you a D-class adventurer as a Muscle Wizard?"
Alisa tilted her head. She thought that Life Magic wasn't necessary.
"Mifune-san is the same. Kurotsuki-kun is as well. It may be possible to learn multiple magic types."
"Okay. I'll ask Grimm-sensei. But why now?"
"When I was an active adventurer, I felt that I had reached my limit, so I gave up trying to become stronger. But, I felt hope in Life Magic."
On that day, Kaizuka taught Yukari how to use Attack Magic, Karina taught Chika how to use Muscle Magic, and Alisa and Amane practiced mock battles with Kurotsuki.
What they learned as a result was that Kurotsuki possessed outstanding abilities. In a one-on-one fight, neither Alisa nor Amane could compete. However, that was because they were unable to respond to Kurotsuki's long-range attack.
"This is also a weakness that a Life Wizard must overcome."
Alisa wondered how she would overcome it if she were Grimm. It didn't seem like an easy question to answer.
By the next joint training, Alisa had learned 'Auto Shield' and 'Thunder Bowl', Amane and Chika had only learned 'Thunder Bowl', and Yukari had learned 'Push'.
Then, during the joint training on Thursday, they dived into the Suigetsu Dungeon. The girls worked with Kurotsuki to hunt the 4th floor Satyrs and BigSheep and trained to work together.
And, by the end of the week, Alisa, Amane, and Chika had mastered 'Thunder Arrow'.

While I was waiting in front of the Suigetsu Dungeon, Alisa and the others arrived.
"Good morning, Grimm-sensei."
"Good morning. How is it, did you learn the new Life Magic?"
From Alisa's report, I heard about the new Life Magic they learned.
"Today, let's go to the 6th floor and hunt KingSnakes."
"Big snakes, is it."
Amane raised her voice in disgust.
"KingSnake is next to OrcKnight for increasing your magic level."
This was information I heard from a veteran adventurer at the Adventurer's Guild. Of course, the deeper you went in the dungeon, the more monsters suitable for increasing the magic level appeared, but KingSnake seemed to be the most suitable for the condition of up to the 10th floor.
"But, we've only been to the 4th floor."
Yukari said.
"I'm here on the 5th floor, so there's no problem. I'm also conquering it solo."
"No, no, Grimm-sensei is exceptional."
Amane raised her voice. Alisa and the others nodded.
"Don't worry. There aren't any monsters that will attack in groups, so you can just sack hit them."
Alisa and the others smiled wryly.
"We're running out of time, so let's go."
We dived into the dungeon. Alisa and the others had experience up to the 4th floor, so we could proceed without any problems. Alisa and the others who descended to the 5th floor seemed to become uneasy when they saw the forest spreading out in front of them.
"There are DarkTigers here."
Since it's a monster Yukari had never fought before, she seemed to be worried.
"If you aim at the DarkTiger with a Javelin, you can kill it."
Alisa and the others tried to gain experience by fighting as much as possible. Perhaps because of that, it took them a while, but they captured the 5th floor and reached the 6th floor. Seeing the wasteland with brown soil and rocks everywhere, Alisa and the others looked even more worried than when they were on the 5th floor.
"Are there KingSnakes here?"
Asked Alisa.
"Yes. It's probably a bigger snake than you imagine."
"Speaking of which, didn't Grimm-sensei say he didn't like snakes?"
"Yeah, I'm not good with snakes. That's why I make it a point to instantly kill snake monsters."
"Can you kill them instantly?"
"Now I can. They can be killed with 'Auto Shield' and 'Javelin'."
While solidifying my defense with 'Auto Shield', I knew that if a KingSnake approached and I shot a QuintJavelin the moment it opened its mouth, it would be taken down.
However, it would be impossible for Alisa and the others who were not accustomed to such a fighting style. We looked for KingSnakes while defeating MegaScarabs, huge bugs.
When we went around a small rocky mountain, we encountered a KingSnake. The faces of Alisa and the others turned pale when they saw that huge snake. It seemed that the real thing was bigger than they imagined.
The KingSnake's long torso twisted as it advanced, and the eyes of the KingSnake, which raised its sickle neck, were eyes that only thought of us as prey. The phrase 'A frog stared at by a snake.' came to mind.
"I understand why Grimm-sensei is not good with snakes."
Alisa muttered.
"That's right. I hate those eyes."
For some reason, I was happy that Alisa understood why I wasn't good with snakes.
