Episode 83 Oak Castle (3)
After I finished eating sandwiches and taking a break, I returned to the room that looked like a treasure room. I looked for the safe that matched the key I got there. I tried to insert the key into the keyhole of the first black safe, but it wouldn't go in.
It didn't seem to be that safe. Nor was it the next safe, but when I tried the fourth safe, the key slipped in. When I turned the key, I heard a click and the safe door opened.
Inside was a book, a black stick, and a ring.
I picked up the book and flipped it open.
"Seriously. Isn't this a Magic Book."
The book in my hand was definitely a Life Magic Spellbook. Among them, the magic formations of 'Push' and 'Swing' were drawn. There were 18 magic circles inside, and there were about 4 magics that I didn't know about.
I tried to read the parts where the unknown magic was written, but it was written in magic characters, so I could hardly read it. However, I was able to read what the magic level was for me to be able to learn the magic. The magic levels were '12', '14', '17', and '20'.
There was only one thing I could learn. The desire to learn and know the true nature of magic arose. But currently I was in a dungeon. I put the Magic Book in my Magic Pouch.
I took out the ring and checked it. Even the Sage System didn't know what the ring was. It didn't seem to be related to Life Magic. There was also the possibility that it was a cursed ring, so I couldn't even try it. I would have to bring it home and have it checked. The ring was also stored in my Magic Pouch.
Finally, I took out the black bar.
"What is this stick?"
I expected it to be a black iron rod, but when I held it in my hand I realized it wasn't. This was a stick made of mutated D-Particles. It didn't even weigh a kilo. It was four centimeters in diameter and sixty centimeters long.
Life Wizards could control D-Particles. Although it was mutated, it was still D-Particles. If it was a Life Wizard there was probably some way to use it.
I also put the black stick in my Magic Pouch.

"Well, how am I going to get out of the castle?"
For now, I went back through the passage and went up the stairs.
I could see the entrance to the hidden staircase. I went to the 4th floor to see if the OakKnights were there.
"That's strange. I thought they would be waiting for me."
As I exited the small room into the hallway, I sensed OakKnights approaching. Moreover, it was not just one or two. They showed up in a group.
"Currently, OakKnight is ..."
As expected, I got tired of hunting OakKnights. In order to continue fighting, my magic power was unsatisfactory, so I decided to run away. I went out onto the balcony and jumped off the railing.
I activated 'Catapult' in the air and threw my body towards the castle wall. The distance wasn't enough with just once, so I activated 'Catapult' again. And then, after confirming that I was outside the castle wall, I repeatedly fell down to the ground via 'Airbags'.
I had already experienced it during the fire, so I easily succeeded. However, it was absurdly scary. After that, I began to return to the ground, and when I escaped from the dungeon, it was past twelve o'clock at night.
I returned to my apartment and fell asleep. It was around noon when I woke up. I was so tired. I started preparing to go out while yawning. I was thinking of going to the Adventurer's Guild in order to exchange the magic stones for cash and have the ring examined.
"I'm hungry. I should grab something to eat on the way."
I went out of the apartment and ordered a set meal of stir-fried meat and vegetables at a nearby restaurant. While I was watching TV until the food was served, a newscaster reported that a new dungeon had been created in France.
Dungeons were still being born. Sometimes they mysteriously disappeared. Dungeons that were not used by humans might disappear.
Among those who studied dungeons, there were those who advocated the theory that dungeons absorbed something from humans.
After eating lunch and leaving the restaurant, I headed to the Adventurer's Guild. There were few people in the Adventurer's Guild around noon. The guild was crowded in the early morning and evening.
I found an acquaintance, Katou, at the reception, so I took out the magic stones and placed them on the counter while saying hello. Since I defeated a lot of OakKnights yesterday, a large number of green magic stones
"Were you hunting OakKnights again?"
"Well, yeah. But, I'm done with that."
Katou made a surprised face. Then she quietly asked.
"By any chance, did you find the Oak Castle treasury?"
I nodded silently. Then, I put the black magic stone and the ring on the counter.
"Can you examine this ring?"
"Please wait for a moment."
Katou placed the magic stone and ring on the tray and carried it inside.
Katou returned immediately and asked me to come to the Branch Chief's room. I went to the Branch Chief's office, wondering what was going on. Branch Chief Kondou was looking at the ring I brought.
"Sit down. I want to confirm if it's true that you got this ring from the Oak Castle treasury."
"It's true. Yesterday, I went to the treasury in the Oak Castle and defeated the OakGeneral to get it."
Branch Chief Kondou nodded.
"An OakGeneral was it."
"Speaking of which, I heard that there was a big wolf, but I was surprised because it wasn't."
"That's because you entered solo. If you enter as a team, Garm will come out."
"Garm?"
"It's said to be the guard dog of the underworld. It's a huge dog."
It seemed it wasn't a giant wolf, but a dog. When I heard the details, it seemed that Garm summoned a large number of its followers, the BlackHyenas.
"That's about it for the monsters of the Oak Castle. I called you about the ring. It turns out that this ring is a 'Diagnosis Ring'."
A Diagnosis Ring is a ring that can diagnose human diseases. It seemed to be a ring that was in demand at hospitals.
"I'm thinking of putting it up for auction there, what do you think?"
"Is it not possible to exchange for money at the Adventurer's Guild?"
"It's possible, but if the Adventurer's Guild buys it, it will be quite cheap. If you're not short on money, I recommend putting it up for auction."
I'm not short on money, so should I put it up for auction? But, is the procedure troublesome? I asked about the procedure. It seemed like it would be troublesome, but the guild seemed to support it.
The Diagnosis Ring would be put up for auction, and it would be available for cash in two months.
