Episode 141 Temple of the 20th floor
We talked and decided that I, Alisa and Chika, and Amane and Yukari would each kill one Cyclops.
Everyone jumped forward all at once. The three Cyclopes noticed and entered a battle stance. When a five-meter-tall giant readied for battle, it looked powerful.
However, I had accumulated enough experience that I wouldn't be overwhelmed. I jumped into the appropriate distance to fire a 'High Blade' and fired a SeventhHighBlade.
A D-particle Blade that exceeded the speed of sound hit the leftmost giant. The blade that slipped from its shoulder into its robe reached deep into its chest, slashing its heart and cutting it to death.
Yukari fired a SeventhThunderArrow and hit the giant in the middle. A roaring sound like a thunderbolt resounded, and the entire body of the giant twitched and convulsed. Amane hit the giant with a SeventhHighBlade. The blow was fatal.
Chika ran in and fired a SeventhHighBlade at the thigh of the last remaining Cyclops. The giant's right leg was cut off. Alisa activated a SeventhHighBlade to finish off the giant that lost its balance and fell. The head of the giant flew off. It was a vivid battle.
Amane looked back with sparkling eyes.
"What do you think. How is our Life Magic?"
"It was brilliant. I can see that you practiced hard."
Alisa and the others looked happy. I turned to face Yukari.
"Today is not training, it's the real thing, so you can use Attack Magic."
Yukari made a complicated expression.
"That's right, but I've been practicing Life Magic recently, so Life Magic comes out on the spur of the moment."
That was a problem, but it might be better to raise the level of Life Magic to '9', learn 'Wing' and 'Catapult', and then extend her Attack Magic.
An Attack Wizard who could use Life Magic would be Yukari's strength as a new fighting style.
We collected the magic stones and descended to the 18th floor before the other giants gathered. This was the canyon area where MusaNezumi came out. We flew to the bottom with 'Wing' without dealing with the MusaNezumis.

Descending to the 19th floor was a rocky mountain/ice area. After wearing winter clothes, we started looking for the stairs while fighting SnowLeopards and WhiteBoars.
After searching for about two hours, We found the stairs behind the rocky mountain. The scenery that we saw when we went down the stairs was a spacious grassland.
"Grimm-sensei, what are we going to do?"
Looking at the faces of Alisa and the others, they looked tired.
"Let's camp here and fight the OrcKing tomorrow."
"Understood."
We started setting up the tents. I had a small tent for one person, and Alisa and the others had a large tent for four people. While talking noisily, they happily set up the tent.
While Alisa and the others were setting up their tent, I set up a portable toilet a little further away. It was developed by the Adventurer's Guild for use in dungeons.
Then I installed the purchased monster detection device. With this, if a monster approached, an alarm would go off. However, since it was the first time I was trying it in a dungeon, we needed someone to keep watch.
Dinner was a boxed lunch from a bento shop. It was said that if you lit a bonfire in a dungeon, monsters would come near you, so cooking inside the dungeon was not recommended. However, when camping in a cold area, it was said to be unavoidable.(TN:Tell that to Fuhito.)
There were exceptions. A Mid-boss room without a Mid-boss was a safety zone, so cooking was fine. After finishing the meal, I put Alisa and the others to bed first.
Alisa and the others would be the main players in tomorrow's battle against the OrcKing, so I put them to bed early. While drinking coffee, I thought about what would happen after we defeated the OrcKing.
After defeating the OrcKing on the 20th floor, the next target would be the FireDrake on the 30th floor. This was a rumor, but if you defeated the FireDrake as a team, you would be eligible to take the C-class adventurer promotion exam.
"A team. Is it time to form a team."
By the way, the critic Tajima said that the challenge for the C-class promotion exam was to defeat a BlueOgre solo, it had a reputation for being too easy, and there was a debate as to whether those who could get C-class with that test were lucky or unlucky.
Even if they were able to defeat a BlueOgre, it seemed that there were many who were not successful in advanced dungeons. Six hours passed while I was thinking about such things.
I woke up Yukari and Amane and went to sleep in my tent. I should be able to sleep for about four hours.

"Sensei, please wake up."
I was woken up by Alisa. Dazed, I raised half of my body and rubbed my eyes. I felt sleep-deprived, but I got up and walked out of the tent.
I took water out of my Magic Pouch and washed my face. After having breakfast and getting ready, I put away the tent. I also retrieved my monster detection device. It didn't sound the alarm even once, so it seemed the monsters didn't approach us.
Overlooking the grassland, I could see something like a temple on top of a distant hill. There was a Mid-boss room there, and it seemed that the OrcKing was there.
As we made our way towards the temple, we encountered OrcKnights. We mowed them down and continued until we reached the foot of the hill where the temple was located.
"The place where the OrcKing resides is a temple, is it. It's just as it was written in the documents, but isn't there something like an OrcKing Castle."
Amane said. Yukari also nodded.
To tell the truth, until I read about the 20th floor in the Adventurer's Guild reference room, I also thought there was an OrcKing Castle.
"There seems to be an OrcGeneral, so let's brace ourselves."
We entered through the gate of the temple. The temple, supported by large stone pillars, was a building reminiscent of Greek architecture.
When I turned the corner of the passage, an OrcKnight attacked me. With one movement, I pulled out the Black Staff that was attached to my waist, and at the same time as I swung it, I activated a QuintBlade and cut it down.
Chika's eyes widened at the QuintBlade that was fired with a move that looked like Iai-jutsu.
"Is that Iai?"(TN:Iai = quick-draw. It's a super fast draw into slash from the sheath, usually seen with katanas.)
"The weapon I'm using isn't a sword, so it's not an Iai, but I tried to imitate its movements."
When activating magic like 'Blade', it was necessary to determine the activation position, swing angle, etc. There were two ways to decide. The first was to activate it after solidifying the image of how the magic worked. The other was to decided and activate it according to the movements of the body.
Modern Iai imitation was the latter method. Since Chika often preferred that kind of activation method, she seemed to be interested.
After investigating the temple, we defeated the OrcKnights we encountered and entered a large room. It seemed to have been a place of prayer, and there was an OrcGeneral staring at the altar.
Alisa's face stiffened when she saw it. It must have felt like a formidable enemy.
