Episode 115 Knowledge of a C-class adventurer
I decided to have Kamijou learn 'Cone Arrow'. However, I decided to have him do that at night, and have him fight monsters during the day to increase his magic level.
However, Kamijou could only use DoublePush. So, in the 1st and 2nd floors of the Suigetsu Dungeon, he had to repeat the process of hitting Goblins and Orcs with DoublePush and then killing them with a weapon.
Kamijou's amount of magical power was so enormous that it couldn't be compared to the students of the academy. I thought that if he used that magical power to DoublePush more than 100 times and kill the monsters, the magic level of Life Magic would increase.
"Hou, even if you don't kill it with Life Magic, is it effective in raising the magic level?"
"It seems so. In a case like this, people with a lot of mana have an advantage."
"I see. I learned something good. Shall I teach you how to learn magic in return?"
"Is there such a thing. Please tell me."
"Usually you learn by staring at the magic circle, but if you move your magical power at that time, it seems that you will learn it quickly."
I tilted my head.
"You can move your magical power?"
"Muscle Magic wraps your body in magical power and pours it into your weapon. It's done forcibly with magic, but if it's just a little movement, you'll be able to do it with training."
Kamijou seemed to have trained to transfer the magical power from the right lung to the left lung, and then from the left lung to the right lung. It was said that doing so activated the brain and made it possible to learn magic faster.
I remembered how hard it was for me to learn the Muscle Magic 'Power Assist'. If I could learn that as soon as possible, it would be worth training magical power movement.
"By the way, why are you called Grimm-sensei?"
"I was teaching Life Magic at the Magic Academy."
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
"Oh, you were a real teacher. I see."
"Kamijou-san is a C-class adventurer, and you're older than me, so Grimm is fine."
"No, let me call you Grimm-sensei. I truly want to learn."
I understood how serious he was, but I felt pressured.
"Right, I forgot about the reward. Is this okay?"
Kamijou took out an Escape Ball from a drawstring-like Magic Bag and handed it to me.
"Such an expensive thing ..."
"It's fine. I got it in the dungeon, so I didn't spend any money on it."
I put the Escape Ball in my Magic Pouch, and in return, I took out the magic circle of 'Cone Arrow' and handed it over.
Then I guided him to the Suigetsu Dungeon and had him defeat the Goblins and Orcs. He used only DoublePush to defeat them along with his short sword, but it was too easy to defeat them, so the Orcs looked like small fries.
It was inevitable to just be a spectator, so I decided to go back to the Dungeon House and think about new magic. I returned to the Dungeon House and sat on a chair in the break room.
I couldn't come up with any ideas for magic to attack monsters, so I thought about the cleaning magic that Alisa and Taichi were talking about.
"It's just a matter of having the D-Particles collect the dust."
I came up with a magic that collected D-Particles from the air and had them collect dust. Judgment as to whether or not it was dust was based on its size.
I launched the Sage System and created magic for cleaning. It was magic that collected D-Particles in one place and shot them around like fireworks, and when they came into contact with dust, they captured the dust and collected it.
I went to the locker room and activated the cleaning magic after confirming that no one was there. The D-Particles gathered, dispersed, gathered and collected dust.
A clump of dust was floating in front of me. The fact that the dust gathered was a success. When the magic was released, the dust fell to the floor. I then checked every nook and cranny of the locker room.
Since there was a clump of dust, it must have been clean, but I didn't think it was as clean as I expected.
The walls were still stained, and the corners of the room were still dirty. It seemed that the D-Particles had collected the dust floating in the air.
"Rather than cleaning, it's becoming an air purifier."
This method didn't seem to work. When I went back to the break room to think about it, Kamijou came back.
"The magic level has risen by one."
"That's fast. As expected of a C-class."
Since the other party was a veteran C-class adventurer, teaching was easy. I didn't need to watch over him to confirm his safety, and if I just gave him instructions, he could practice on his own and raise his level.
Kamijou rapidly raised the magic level of Life Magic, and mastered 'Cone Arrow' in about two days. When he became able to defeat monsters with multiple activations of 'Cone Arrow', he began to practice quick shooting.
I also taught him how to release Life Magic according to his body movements.
"I see, this Palm Push is interesting. It's also good that the activation time is shortened."
Kamijou seemed to be having fun like a child given a new toy.
I gave Kamijou, who soon reached magic level 5, the magic circles of 'Blade' and 'Javelin'.
I already demonstrated 'Blade', so I went to the second floor of the Suigetsu Dungeon to actually use 'Javelin'. It was an expanded version of 'Cone Arrow', so he seemed to understand it immediately.
"You're diving into the dungeon every day, but aren't you tired?"
Kamijou seemed to be diving into the dungeon every day, so I checked to see if he was okay.
"Compared to diving into advanced dungeons, intermediate dungeons are like recreation."
I only had the experience of diving into an advanced dungeon during the promotion exam, but the number of monsters in advanced dungeons was incomparable. The environment was harsh with various monsters attacking without leaving time in between.
Compared to that, the early floors of intermediate dungeons would be an easy win.
"Speaking of which, what kind of activity is Grimm-sensei doing?"
"I'm looking for an ArmorBear's den."
"Oh, are you aiming for the treasure chest. I did that too."
It seemed that other dungeons also had ArmorBear dens. I went to the 15th floor several times to look for it, but I still couldn't find it.
"There are places where ArmorBears tend to build dens. Places with rugged terrain and tall grass. Look carefully and you'll find them."
"Thank you very much."
As expected of a C-class adventurer, I knew they were different. I was delighted to receive information that was not available in the reference room.
