Episode 47 Start Dash

After testing the power of 'High Blade' on the 4th floor rocky place, I took the shortest route from the 4th floor to the 7th floor. Standing at the entrance of the 7th floor, I stare at the graveyard. After confirming that there was a Holy Silver Dagger at my waist, I began to move forward.

Skeletons and Ghouls were instantly killed with TripleBlade, and only when I encountered Phantoms did I pull out the Holy Silver Dagger to finish them off. I proceeded through the graveyard area without any problem, found the stairs, and went down.

The 8th floor was a forest area. The first monster I encountered there was the red gorilla RedKong. With a body length of two meters, it possesses tremendous superhuman strength and moves quickly.

Then, when things were not going well, it used an attack method of launching a surprise attack from the top of a tree. At that time as well, I heard a clanging sound overhead, and when I looked up, I saw a red object falling from overhead.

"Uwaa!"

I dodged by rolling on the ground. The RedKong landed on the place where I had just been standing. When I tried to fight back, the RedKong broke a nearby branch and threw it at me.

I reflexively used TriplePush and bounced it off. The RedKong started throwing everything it could get its hands on at me. I had no choice but to block with TriplePush, but there was no end to it.

I jumped back, kept my distance, and fired a QuadJavelin. The RedKong was a very intuitive monster, and quick. With unbelievable precision, it dodged my long-range attack. I used QuadJavelin several times, but they were all completely dodged, so I gave up on long-range attacks and prepared for close combat.

I activated 'Auto Shield' for the first time in actual combat. Nine D-Particle Shields were deployed and began to circle around me to protect me. I couldn't see them, but I felt their presence.

The RedKong threw a stone on the ground at me. One of the Shields moved in front of the stone that flew at tremendous speed and blocked the stone.

"Now, I can approach and counterattack."

I approached the RedKong with my Tatakanata. The RedKong threw branches. They bounced off the Shield, and I used a QuadBlade.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

With one blow, the RedKong fell. What remained on the ground was a green magic stone . RedKong is an incompatible opponent for Life Wizards. If I were a Muscle Wizard, it might have been killed instantly.

The next monster I encountered was a LizardSoldier, an orthodox swordsman. Since its intuition wasn't sharp, 'Push' and 'Cone Arrow' were effective. Since an orthodox swordsman was fragile when attacking after a TriplePush. I break its balance with TriplePush and finish with a QuintArrow.

I explored the 8th floor and found the stairs leading down to the 9th floor. In the maze area on the 9th floor, I have to be careful about HighGoblin's magic. I proceeded through the maze while being cautious of the HighGoblins.

Luckily, I reached the Mid-Boss room without encountering any magic-using HighGoblins that day. There was also a dome-shaped space in front of the Mid-Boss room.

This completed the preliminary research necessary for the Mid-Boss Hunting Battle.

I hurried back to the ground. It was a little after 6 o'clock when I returned to the ground. I changed clothes at the dungeon house, went to the Adventurer's Guild to exchange magic stones, and returned to my apartment.

From then until the day of the Mid-Boss Hunting Battle, I spent my time training magic. It was necessary to get used to 'Sensing Zone' and 'Auto Shield'.

Thanks to my training in 'Sensing Zone', my extra-sensory ability to detect D-Particles sharpened. Even without using the magic, I somehow became able to feel the movement of the D-Particles.

I decided to call the extra-sensory ability that senses D-Particles the 'D-Particle Sensor'. This is because the extra-sensory ability included the ability to feel magical power.

I learned that by using magic to force the D-Particle Sensor to work, the D-Particle Sensor could be trained. So, I decided to actively use 'Sensing Zone'.

The day before the Mid-Boss Hunting Battle, I could somehow feel the movement of the D-Particles within a radius of about 5 meters without using magic.

On the day of the Mid-Boss Hunting Battle, I changed into my leather armor and went to the Suigetsu Dungeon. About 200 adventurers had gathered.

"Will this many adventurers participate?"

"That's right. Do you think you can defeat the Mid-Boss?"

The person who called out to me was Tachibana Kurumi from the Shibugami Dungeon. She wore a leather coat over jeans and a sweater. I noticed that she was well-shaped like a model.

"This time, it's like a rehearsal for gaining experience."

When I said that, Kurumi laughed. Not a mocking laugh, but an encouraging laugh.

"Don't say that, do your best."

"But, isn't Kazamatsuri the main attraction?"

"That's right. The favorite is the Top 5 Team of the Academy, and their competition is the Tesshin Team."

"Is the Tesshin Team, Ono Tesshin's team?"

"That's right. Do you know Tesshin-san?"

"When I challenged the assignment to go up to F-class, he was watching."

"Is that so. Ah, the Kazamaturi guys. Well then, do your best."

When Kurumi saw Kazamatsuri and the others, she charged for them.

I looked around and waited for the start time. And then, the voice of the Adventurer's Guild employee resounded.

The adventurers started moving all at once. The adventurers who rushed to the entrance while competing disappeared into the dungeon. I was blown away by the momentum and started late. I was surprised because I didn't expect the Start Dash to be that intense.

"Wow, everyone is serious. I have to do my best too."

I entered the dungeon, and started running through the grassy area. I could see a group of adventurers running ahead. After a while, the group began to disperse, and the adventurers who lacked physical strength began to lag behind.

The adventurers who were attacked by DemonDogs and others began fighting, and the adventurers dispersed. I was also attacked by a Goblin, but I instantly killed it with a TripleArrow.

When I entered the forest area on the second floor, I began to feel signs of fighting here and there. The monsters encountered there were Orcs and AttackBoars, so there must have been a battle going on with them.

When I broke through the 2nd floor and descended to the 3rd floor, I thought I caught up to the middle of the second group, which was lagging behind the leading group.
