Episode 125 Shinyou Dungeon's Kamijou
Kamijou, a C-class adventurer, continued his activities as an adventurer while continuing his Life Magic training. However, he was doing the activity solo.
The team 'Shinra Banshou' that Kamijou belonged to had not returned from the Shinyou Dungeon. He wasn't worried, though. That was because it often happened that the search was prolonged without finding the target.
During that time, Kamijou trained in Life Magic, raise his magic level to '8', and mastered 'High Blade' and 'Wing'. He also ordered a saddle previously, so he owned one. He was ready to fly.
A week of enjoying flight practice had passed. By then, he hadn't heard anything from the team, which made him worried.
Kamijou headed for Kurosawa City, where the Shinyou Dungeon was located. He asked about the team at the Adventurer's Guild in Kurosawa City.
"A trouble has occurred in the Shinyou Dungeon, and some of the adventurers inside cannot be contacted."
The guild staff member explained.
"What kind of trouble?"
"It's a volcanic eruption on the 6th floor."
Kamijou had heard of it. The volcano in the Shinyou Dungeon erupted once every year or two, and lava flowed out, making it impossible to pass through the 6th floor.
However, he heard that it would subside in about ten days and it would be possible to pass again.
"In how many days will it subside?"
"That's right. I think it will take about three more days. By the way, are you an Attack Wizard?"
"No, I'm a Muscle Wizard. Why do you ask?"
"I thought if you could use 'Fly', I would ask you to bring them food and water."
"If it's an Attack Wizard, they'll be in the guild."
"Since the section where the lava is flowing is wide, it seems that only an Attack Wizard with a large amount of magical power can cross it."
When he suggested that they use a single-seat helicopter, he was told that there was no one who owned one in this city. It seemed that it would take time to find and borrow from others.
Stolen story; please report.
Kamijou asked how far he had to fly to cross the lava area.
"I will carry it."
"Can you use 'Fly'?"
"No. I can use the Life Magic 'Wing'."
It seemed that the guild staff member had never heard of that magic before. That was natural. It was a magic that hadn't even been registered with the Magic Agency yet.
"Please wait a moment. I will call the Branch Chief."
The Branch Chief Hijikata arrived and said that he wanted to see how he would fly. Kamijou went to the training grounds with him. Several adventurers were training there.
"This is the first time I've heard of a Life Magic called 'Wing', but could you tell me what kind of magic it is?"
Branch Chief Hijikata asked Kamijou.
Kamijou agreed because 'Shinra Banshou' was involved. He took out the saddle from his Magic Bag and activated 'Wing'.
Looking at the D-Particle Wing that appeared, Branch Chief Hijikata made a questioning face. When Kamijou attached the saddle and rode it, his face changed to surprise.
Kamijou climbed up, circled the training grounds, and returned to the Branch Chief.
"Are you convinced?"
"Of course. It's amazing. Is this Life Magic."
Kamijou and the Branch Chief immediately dived into the Shinyou Dungeon. A large number of adventurers had gathered in front of the dungeon, but Kamijou didn't care much.
Kamijou's Magic Bag contained water, food, and fireproof shoes. It would take some time for the lava area to cool down completely, so they would go back with fireproof shoes.
By the way, Kamijou rejected the idea of transporting adventurers with the D-Particle Wing. He decided it was dangerous to overdo it as he was inexperienced with 'Wing'.
As he descended the stairs to the 6th floor, he felt the heat. In front of him was a river of lava flowing out of a volcano. Several streams of lava covered a wide area. Even land where lava was not flowing was hot due to the heat of the lava.
"I'm counting on you."
Hearing Hijikata's words, Kamijou activated 'Wing'. Kamijou straddled the D-Particle Wing with the saddle and began to fly over the lava.
After crossing the lava river, he noticed a group of adventurers on the ground staring at Kamijou. When Kamijou landed, his companions in 'Shinra Banshou' rushed over.
'Kamijou, it's the first time I've seen Muscle Magic that flies in the sky."
The leader, Kurusu, seemed to have misunderstood 'Wing' as Muscle Magic.
"This isn't Muscle Magic, it's Life Magic. I told you I was training Life Magic about a month ago, didn't I?"
"That's right, but ... Life Magic, huh. You said you'd train because it had this, right."
Kamijou smiled wryly. It seemed that the awareness of Life Magic was still low.
"Why did you come here?"
Shimone, who joined the team in place of Kamijou, asked a question.
"I was asked by the Branch Chief to bring water, food, and fireproof shoes."
Kamijou took out the luggage that the Adventurer's Guild had entrusted to him from his Magic Bag and gave it to the adventurers.
"There's still food left, but the water was getting low. Thank you."
One of the adventurers said. There should be some adventurers who had a talent for Life Magic. And yet, was there no-one who had mastered the Life Magic, 'Water'?
'Water' was a magic that collected moisture in the air with D-Particles and turned it into water.
Most C-Class adventurers had Magic Bags, so they probably thought it was unnecessary.
"By the way, was the search successful?"
When Kamijou checked with Kurusu, he gave him a sour look. He seemed to have failed.
"We couldn't beat the RedOgre in the Mid-boss room on the 30th floor."
Kamijou tilted his head. It's because he had killed the RedOgre before. It was a formidable opponent, but he cooperated with the team to weaken the RedOgre, and finally finished it off with Kamijou's wakizashi, which had the
"Why is that? We have beaten it before."
"Shimone failed with his final finishing blow. The slashing attack of the 'Slash Plus' that he was proud of couldn't exceed the defensive power of the RedOgre."
The ogre race increased its defensive power by enveloping its body with defensive magic, like the 'Steel Guard' used by Muscle Wizards.
"Shut up, I was just feeling a little sick."
His lower face was red. The RedOgre required a special weapon to defeat.
Kamijou decided to return after listening to the adventurers. He reported to the Branch Chief what he had delivered and returned to the surface.
"Why is it so busy."
There were a lot of adventurers when he entered the dungeon, but when he returned, the number had doubled.
"Ah, these are the D-class adventurers who came to test themselves at the 'Meteor Gate'."
"Right, I've heard of that."
Kamijou himself had never challenged the 'Meteor Gate', but he had heard about it.
Kamijou found an unexpected person among the gathered adventurers.
"Grimm-sensei."
