IMPORTANT!!
so i got a pm regarding a post showing the plotholes of spectral regalia, and some people thought i didnt post because of it, i can say that the reason i didnt post is not related to that at all.
http://royalroadl.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=57897&page=6 post #43 now before a lot of you get angry i have to tell you i value this comment a lot more then the praise i recieve, why you might ask? because reading this helps me understand what im doing wrong and lacking, he is right for a lot of the points that i seemed to have miss especially with plot holes, im going to carefully go over these plot holes and fix them reword some parts and list the edits in ch 119 for you guys to see.
in any case im also going to write using a draft document to carefully go over the plot and its direction, i realise the particle progress is very confusing to most of you, which is why a reccomendation in that post was to use a power sheet to show his strength at the end of every chapter, i dont want to make this to complicated and only give the parts that are needed.
i also replied to his post http://royalroadl.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=57897&page=7 #51 damn i hate long replys, ;/ in anycase if you truly are fans and readers of mine do not get angry at him, infact im relying on a lot of you to help me spot ploholes so that SR can be a better story and more enjoyable. tommorow im going to spend several hours going over it all, and if any of you have seen mistakes please pm them to me.
come back to this chapter later, by then i should have a table showing avrins particle progress and stages ready for every chapter if i ever get SR published i see i have a lot of work to do, so i will have to fix many things early to lessen the load
finding plotholes for this story is important in improving the quality, most plotholes can be fixed with mentions in later chapters others require me to go back and edit, these edit plotholes are mainly the ones that need to be fixed asap

“Yeos, Myisdio Ty’uirin Hyisha’Gik, Nyurenin Sento!” When Azrael’s chant finished a white light surged from Void before shooting towards Avrin’s forehead. It engulfed the brand that began to shake slightly and tremble for a moment, the entire light on Avrin’s forehead lasted for 10 seconds before the spell grew fainter and fainter. It then vanished leaving Azrael stunned and nervous.
“Avrin....the spell cast on you is God ranked, I’m afraid a Mythical level ability like this won’t do...though, you’re an enigma ability user, I’m truly stunned you yourself are unable to find a method to remove it.”
Avrin sighed a little. “-If it was that simple I would have already done so! Even when I divine step the brand is quick enough to track and follow me and reform with me, such a cheat of an ability I will truly murder the god that branded me...-” as the thought crossed his mind Avrin gazed at Azrael and spoke. “If that’s the case I thank you for trying, I should be going.”
Azrael quickly replied to Avrin, “Though I couldn’t remove the spell, I have to warn you of several things, the one who cast it, is no doubt the king of gods Septim. I have long since been around with my creator Zephiron, and the energy within that brand is definitely of Septim’s. This is a real shame, I wanted you to assist me in my plans...but since it is Septim it's truly impossible to allow you to join me. Though only a god can remove that brand on you.”
Avrin listened but in truth he didn’t feel like he was at a loss, he would return to where the Kirin was and see if he could fix the issue with the skymetal, if all goes according to plan he would be able to improve his strength by another leap.
He knew where the gods most likely were but with his divine step even if he managed to go up there, there would be no way he could enter through that shield and even if it was possible many issues still arise. He could only wait till he became strong enough to remove it on his own or hope for his luck to get better.
Though Avrin also knew something big was going to sweep across seleria, this was Azrael’s plans on freeing Orochi. If this happened most likely only the northern continent with little matter on seleria would be spared, then again if the worst happened, Avrin would just have to step in and decimate Orochi with all his might. Of course this would only happen if Orochi threatened the livelihood of his people.
“Azrael just why do you want to free Orochi to use?” Avrin couldn’t help his curiosity though the question posed caused Azrael’s face to give a cold angry look. “The reason for this war...Abbadon was cautious and jealous at how my demon race had grown immensely strong, and needed to start a war to unify the races...thus he killed my wife.
Even when he tried to deny it with the god Zephiron on my side how could his lies work...eventually I sent a large force to invade and hunt down Abbadon but he used this as an excuse to unify the races against me and even eventually had to get Fafnir to defeat me!”
Avrin showed not much of a change even though this war was started hundreds of years ago and he now knew the reason, it was simply a matter that was none of his concern. “Well that is fine, though let me give you a warning Azrael, if Orochi attacks the northern continent, I’ll slaughter it myself.”
Avrin’s words contained no heavy aura or killing intent. Azrael wasn’t an enemy thus he had no need to threaten or scare him, Azrael simply laughed it off and spoke. “Do not worry, Orochi is one against the gods, you and him have no matter against each other.
In this case Avrin I will have to bid you farewell, no doubt the disturbance at the royal capital will be brought to Abbadon’s attention, and I’m sure he is searching for both you and me. I need to prepare myself and get used to this sigil weapon. I will bid you farewell here.”
Avrin also agreed with this, he nodded and soon the two exchanged few words before Lilia also entered and gazed at Avrin. “You're leaving so soon?” A saddened look appeared over her face, one could see she had begun to look up to Avrin.
“I have my own things I need to tend to, you will also be busy in the future and need to help your father, “Avrin gave a simple reply to her, though Lilia sighed, she wanted to learn more about Avrin as to her he was truly a strange being that appeared out of nowhere. The top individuals of seleria had been set in stone but here he was some unknown that had appeared and trampled on several of these individuals.
Lilia wasn’t sure how to reply she could only bow again and thank him, “For all that you have done from freeing my father to assisting in retrieving Void as well as not harming my sister, thank you Avrin!”
In his eyes Lilia truly was the most innocent of the demon race he had seen and even then she was a half breed, it made him falter somewhat when he wondered if Azrael’s chase in revenge would endanger her, but in the end it was still none of his concern. His body turned to a purple ash as he divine stepped away, his monstrous divine sense had already expanded out and after 2 divine steps he had reached the underground system in the eastern continent where he had left the Kirin in.
The moment he appeared the Kirin had woken up from its training and like a puppy it ran over to Avrin and began to jump up and down around him. “Master is back. Master is baaaaaack haha!” It truly was excited, this made Avrin feel a little awkward, he didn’t expect it to make much progress. He had finished the task given to him in such a short amount of time it was laughable that he told the Kirin if he didn’t return within a year it was to go find its brethren.
“Quiet down.” Avrin spoke and sighed before the Kirin seemingly ignored him for a moment and then stood still before speaking. “Master! Next time take me with you, this place is so dark and boring, don’t do this to me!” It gave a miserable look as if it wanted to cry out in misery.
Though Avrin simply smirked at the pitiful creature, he walked over and sat cross legged before reaching into his enchanted sack and then pulled out the sealed small fist sized chunk of skymetal that Azrael had given him. “Whoaaa master what is that, it looks nasty!!!......Can I eat it?”
Avrin wasn’t sure whether this Kirin was playing dumb or just plainly dumb, he even questioned whether the sphere he had given it had worked to its full efficiency. “No you fur coat...you cannot eat this...it’s not only important it’s also mine!” With that said Avrin willed his dark matter heart to activate and within moments a vortex appeared out which caused the Kirin to feel frightened and jump back, the skymetal within the barrier Azrael had set screeched, not only was the barrier devoured but the skymetal followed, and soon it was absorbed within it.
Deep within Avrin’s dark matter heart, a large patch of land with black grass seemed familiar, this was the patch of land that opened up when Astaroth was devoured, though instead of switching from black to green it was now black to red blood colored grass.
In the distance a dark matter core of energy with a red smaller yet also bright star like energy was forming around it. Also circulating around this pitch black star was a smaller black mass of energy smaller than the red star and showing signs of instability though it had a sort of barrier of transparent purple energy around it seemingly keeping it intact.
Suddenly a space opened up before the skymetal that was devoured came screeching in. It was thrown over towards the center largest black star before it shrieked with anger and misery. It began to melt and congeal all within an instant before forming into a small mass of black energy similar to the unstable mass within the barrier that orbited with the red star.
The newly formed energy from the skymetal shot over towards the unstable black mass before it entered the barrier and soon combined with it, at this moment the whole space trembled as the black unstable mass grew to the size of the red star and gave a much more stable look as if it had been cured and was healthier. It pulsed out with energy before the entire mass shot into the center large black star that was indeed the core of Avrin’s dark matter heart, where skymetal would be forged.
The mass began to congeal and take shape it began to shift and form, it took the form of a humanoid figure who moved both his hands in front of him, his left hand near his stomach with its palm faced up and his right hand over his chest palm faced down, the humanoid figure was formed from a small trace amount of energy by the center dark matter heart's core.
While this figure maintained this position the skymetal seemed to form into, shrink down and congeal in between the individual’s palms that were kept in this position in front of him.
The skymetal shrunk and reshaped until it took the shape of an object, this shape and position was quite strange but familiar to the earth of Avrin’s past universe.
This was a weapon mentioned within the Rig Veda, a collection of ancient Indian Vedic Sanskrit and hymns. This weapon was in the form of the Vajra. This Vajra was simply a double Vajra, the top and bottom parts of a the Vajra seemed contain a deep dark emptiness possibly matched only by the hunger and depth of a black hole, the center contained a black living crystal that was transparent and seemed to pulse with hunger and eagerness to eat.
The Vajra pulsed with energy as it seemed to give a baby like scream having just been born, it trembled before the humanoid figure holding it also trembled, the crystal within the center of the Vajra was held onto the top and bottom half by a collection of vein like bindings that acted as chains.
The crystal emitted a heavy dark glow before the doppelganger like figure similar to Avrin in appearance was transformed into a stream of energy and instantly devoured within the center of the Vajra, of course the amount of energy was so miniscule that it wasn’t even noticeable within it, showing just how much of an appetite it had.
The Vajra again felt the mass of the dark matter core and emitted another pulse as if trying to devour it, but the moment it happened the dark matter core emitted a heavy menacing pressure which caused the Vajra to shriek in fear and shoot out from within it. It then hovered about before eyeing the red star that was Astaroth.
The red star seemed to form a single closed eye before opening and gazing at the Vajra, the Vajra was still a small black eye formed from the center of the crystal gazing back at Astaroth. They both emitted heavy amounts of energy as if trying to compete, though the dark matter core again pulsed out which caused both Astaroth and the Vajra to shriek and close their eyes, the Vajra immediately trembled and tried to free itself.
This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.
In the distance back within the grasslands that were changing from black to red, Avrin was already inside, the moment the Vajra had formed he had been sucked within to this world after examining his inner workings, this was the light in the distance of his inner workings that he was unable to see until now. He watched the Vajra cause trouble for the dark matter core and even go as far as to challenge Astaroth. Avrin could only smirk before gazing carefully at the Vajra, the Vajra seemed to gaze back towards him as its eye opened again.
Avrin felt himself quiver as if the force of a whole galaxy was weighing down on him, it was intense but the feeling it gave was nothing compared to the feeling within god’s presence. In this case he only broke out in a small cold sweat.
The Vajra shrieked again as it shot towards Avrin who of course was already prepared for this. This was his body and there was no way he was going to ignore the Vajra and give it time to prepare itself and attack him like Astaroth did.
The Vajra smashed against the invisible wall that seemingly held it in place, it shrieked again in anger before its core pulsed, the invisible wall trembled before it appeared in the same view as the white brick limitless wall that split this dimension in half.
The moment the white wall appeared it no longer seemed to notice the Vajra as if it were unaffected by it in the least. But the door on the other hand, the plain wooden door trembled before it was shattered and the material absorbed within the Vajra that soon charged towards Avrin with an attempt to devour him to.
“You're trying to best me within my own body!!” Avrin willed Astaroth to appear, the large red star that was orbiting his dark matter heart vanished before reappearing as Astaroth in his hand.
Avrin struck down with Astaroth towards the Vajra, a large surge of energy surged out which caused the entire mass of land to tremble. Avrin felt that if this was in the real physical world then he would probably already be dead, but due to this being the core of his inner workings then it was possible for him to survive.
The newly made Vajra seemed to shriek in anger again as it felt it was unable to overpower Astaroth but even then Astaroth radiated a heavy energy as if it were also angry that it couldn’t overpower the Vajra, had it not been for Avrin already possessing ownership the two weapons would most likely clash in a terrifying battle.
At this point Arvin's dark matter core shot a point of black light that penetrated Vajra’s center which made it scream in pain, it struggled for only a moment before it dimmed down, it then reformed into a mass of black energy that was thrown back to where the dark matter core was and began to orbit it silently like an obedient child.
Avrin carefully relinquished control of Astaroth and it reverted back to the red mass of sun, and the two skymetal weapons began to orbit his dark matter heart, it was then that Vajra pulsed out silently this pulse engulfed not only Avrin's core dimension but his inner workings as well and his dark space.
He felt his body shudder before feeling as if he was energized greatly, it was as if a hit of adrenaline entered him, he clenched his teeth as static purple and black lightning engulfed around the figure of his consciousness, the strengthening was so intense that not only did it put his particles on hyper drive it even caused them to finish.
No longer were they type 6 Beginner particles but now type 8. It had been enough to power up his dark space and particles to convert all his c particles into type 8 beginner c.particles to a full 100%, and even his type 8 beginner particle progress had neared 96% completion.
Avrin knew his body was very different when compared to his people, he was innately stronger but this also meant that his particles contained a need for more energy. He would even go as far as to say one of his type 1 particles would be equivalent to a 1000 type 1 particles of Asura or the other pure blooded spectrals.
The strengthening had been vastly different to when Astaroth had powered him up, Avrin who was trying to keep his body calm after skipping nearly 2 levels felt that his strength had improved greatly. If he was to combat against Driada’s continental spear he was certain that he could stop it with a shadow wall with only a few scratches.
In the physical world Avrin’s body was surging with dark matter that seemed to become darker and more focused causing it to give a more condensed pure look. The Kirin was currently hiding behind a rock as it looked in fear. Avrin’s aura was much more monstrous than before as if he had undergone a huge change. “Master is really strong!!...” It thought to itself.
Within Avrin’s core dimension he was cross legged, he tried to feel for his inner workings but they were seemingly in overdrive as they began to baptize themselves in the dark matter sludge that became a bit thinner and more liquid like. “-At this rate I will reach the peak of the beginner stage within a month and break through it within 6 months if I put all my focus into it!-”
Avrin was truly proud of his progress, he could not help but remember the time where he came to seleria and almost got killed by Syrana with only her half sigil weapon, and now he felt that even if there were a 1000 of her, he could still win.
Avrin opened his eyes and gave a heavy sigh of relief, at that moment the grass that was turning black to red suddenly had a new color added, this color was a deeper darker black than the usual black that seemed to be purplish, Avrin carefully glanced at the white brick wall that vanished before reforming off in the distance another step closer to his dark matter core, this was the effect of absorbing skymetal.
With the grass going from a purplish black to a crimson blood red to a deep dark endless jet black, Avrin had assumed these were representations of his power, his dark matter heart, Astaroth, and the Vajra.
Avrin soon willed his consciousness back to his mind as his physical body opened its eyes, his monstrous aura died down before he calmly raised his hands in front of him. He willed an object to appear, and a slight glint in his left eye as if his soul and core had received the signal a double sided Vajra appeared obediently hovering in the air.
The aura it emitted was unfathomably mysterious, it would be alien in feeling to no matter who gazed at it. Avrin had read up on some historical texts as well as mythos and even religion, the meeting with god made him think about it all, but the Vajra had seemingly formed and he felt its ability was to devour.
“In Hinduism, Indra is the deva of rain and storms, he wields a Vajra or thunderbolt, but you also have a never ending hunger, a weapon symbolized and suited for a god, your name will be one to do with Greek mythology, you will be named Limos!!”
((Authors Note: Limos is the Greek goddess of Hunger/Starvation))
The Kirin who had been watching this entire time was watching with awe, it watched as the mysterious Vajra appeared in Avrin’s hands causing its fur to stand on end like a frightened cat, it then felt that the Vajra posed no threat and Avrin even named it, but that was the final straw, the Kirin dashed out in complaint and began to nag.
“Master!! That’s not fair, no fair!! That stupid thing has a name but I don’t have a name! I want a name master I want one!” Avrin snapped to attention and gazed at the pitiful Kirin in front of him. “True, you need a name to, Kirins are ancient east Asian creatures of mythology, and you remind me of a thunderbolt, though I think Indra is too strong of a name for you, I will just call you Shandian because you remind me of lightning.”
Avrin looked at the Kirin that gazed back silently at him for a moment. “Shandian? I’m Shandian? YES!! I'M SHANDIAN!!” The creature began to hop around crazily as it began to call its newly given name again and again. Avrin gazed at the sight he felt that it was a child so it possibly couldn’t help it, in any case he simply smiled then gazed back at Limos.
“What can you do Limos?” Avrin gazed carefully at it, it was floating silently, of course he felt it was a strange weapon and he truly wasn’t sure in how to use it. Avrin then grabbed it from the air and held it near his face to gaze within the crystal inside.
The moment he did this, Septim just so happened to activate the brand to see what Avrin was up to, as he did, he gazed over towards Limos as he was able to see what Avrin could physically, but at this moment Limos seemed to stir as the brand activated, a closed eye formed within the transparent crystal being held by black veins, it opened and seemed to gaze at the brand, as if it could see Septim that saw it.
Septim who was glancing down casually from a pool as reflective as a mirror saw this, he suddenly felt his soul shudder and quiver. Limos began to emit a heavy hungry aura as if it were enticed by Septim’s mana, suddenly a pulse of energy erupted from Limos before it shot towards Avrin’s brand.
It caused Avrin who had seen the eye gaze out to suddenly jump in shock, but within the heavenly palace of the gods of seleria the area Septim was in began to twist and distort, Septim watched with widened eyes as a an eye formed within the air, the eye was more crystalline with a pitch black celestial looking pupil, the eye began to distort before closed black lips formed from midair curving into a wide smile, the lips then opened to reveal a deep endless darkness with no teeth, Septim was truly afraid but also astonished.
If Avrin knew more about the levels of gods he would understand just how powerful Limos was and the conditions needed to form skymetal, in truth having two chunks on seleria would cause not just a universal outcry but also an outcry spanning several universes. This was the power skymetal contained, Avrin’s body was only able to absorb a simple insignificant amount from Astaroth because he would have exploded if he absorbed any more.
For Limos he benefited more and absorbed more because he was stronger but even then it was still nothing in benefits. The moment Limos opened its mouth was for a fraction of a second, but it was also the moment a large amount of mana, spanning 1% in total of Septim’s mana, had surged towards it all happening very quickly. Septim howled in fear as he had felt an enormous weakness causing him to go off-guard, he couldn’t even defend himself nor could he against a skymetal weapon of this level.
As the stream of heavy mana energy that seemed incredibly pure to what Avrin had seen before neared Limos’ lips Avrin had already unsummoned Limos in fear and fright at how it suddenly reacted to the brand opening,
The image of Limos within the heavenly palace vanished as it was unable to absorb any of the mana from Septim, who then crumbled down onto his knees breathing heavily with a heavy cold sweat. His next reaction was to quickly wave his hand once as the mana surged back towards him, and with a second wave another interesting thing happened.
Avrin who had been stunned at Limos’ actions frowned a little as he sat quietly, but suddenly he felt his forehead itch before the brand that had formed on it disintegrated and was removed, he was stunned as to what had happened.
If he had known what Limos had tried to do he would have laughed at Septim’s misfortune. If he had known he had stopped Limos from absorbing the mana of Septim which he could have used to skyrocket himself to the level of a god, then he would want to cry at his own misfortune.
---------
let me explain his particles a little, as you can particles are still numbered from 1 and onward but the stages when they reach a certain number changes, particle types from 1-5 is the infant stage from 6 to 10 is the beginner stage, this continues on. this is also true for his C.particles which follow the same stages.
because seleria is a world different from those out there no one on the planet other then the gods of seleria know the truth of what lies beyond their world, that is why the planet has its own ranking system, the reason why avrin also ordered erebus to implement his own ranking system for their race was also to get a bit of order and seperate the stronger from the bunch, there is one main ranking system that goes over everything and this will be revealed in time.
(AN - ch 58 azure breaker, azure iron is said to form over hundreds or thousands of years, selerias age is not that old, so i reworded this to simply forming every 50 years))
