Avrin had managed to shoo Izanami who left with a sigh and a pout, but he cared not for her frustration. After she had left he began using the dummy that was nearly identicle to a wing chund dummy in his own universe. Something used by martial artists.

Although this one had some sort of mana inside of it, and it responsed to Avrin’s movements. It was somewhat quick to hit away his hand but he would have no trouble memorizing its attack pattern. It didnt seem to be so advanced so he adjusted himself to it.

He continued to use the dummy while also continously training his body with a regime of push ups and sit ups aswell as several sets to train his legs. His own worlds excercises seemed weird here, but it was still as effective if not even more so due to the physics being different.

He did not forget to train his posture and attack stance. This was due to him looking at a large tablet sticking out from the ground showing attack stances that seemed like a basic building block for the white dragon. Although he saw Ayame use it before, she seemed to remove it completly. Most likely due to anger.

Izanami on the other hand had just rushed at him and ended it quickly, a truly frightful opponent. Avrin found the stance of the white dragon clan to be quite good, although it required one to tighten their muscles and move their legs in a position that would make it hard to budge. It seemed like this stance was mainly used for defence.

What intrigued him was what use was this stance for a clan that specialised in killing techniques.

The day went by fairly quickly as Avrin found himself to be enjoying it quite a bit. He had removed his top and left only the tight outfit that pressed against his muscles melding quite well with his upper body.

He dared not remove it all as he was worried Izanami would spy on him. Once he had finished, he dropped down onto a bench and panted heavily. This training was indeed more effective than when he was in the cave. He had more open space as well as ideas to follow the feeling of his meditation. It helped a lot and gave him a sort of adrenaline burst that made him feel energetic.

“I can definitely do this for months on end if it means I can get stronger…“ He spoke while panting softly. To which a voice called out “Ho ho ho! Avrin, it seems your working hard! I’m glad to see my first personal disciple isn’t a slouch.”

Avrin turned to see Shimaru walking toward the training area. “Teacher, you’re back?” Shimaru nodded “Yes, everything is taken care of. Speaking of which, I can already see a change in you. You seem to have used the pulsing dragon correctly. You know, not everyone gets it right after a couple of goes. It’s a technique that takes months to learn and years to master.”

Avrin chuckled with a smile “Unfortunately I have only learned it. I doubt I am close to mastering it.” Shimaru nodded and as he approached a small arena like section he gazed at the basic stance that was drawn. “Oo, I forgot we had this here. It represents the Dragon’s Gaze stance.

And just like that, as if his motions were fluid like water, he used the stance that put Avrin to shame. No movement was in a stutter, his entire body moved as if each limb knew what to do and had done so a million times. As he entered the stance perfectly, he did not move a centimeter, not even the wind could budge him. It was as if he was more still then a statue.

“Amazing..” Avrin thought to himself, although he wondered how good the stance actually was . Avrin grinned and formed a void sphere, not skimping out on its power before firing it towards Shimaru.

Shimaru’s gaze was fixed infront of him and the sphere headed to his side. The moment the sphere entered his personal space, as if like a blur, it was like he teleported 5 feet infront the sphere hitting him but it seemed like what it hit was an after image.

The void sphere/bolt shot upwards towards the sky before vanishing to god knows where. Shimaru smiled as he broke his stance and leaned up casually towards Avrin. “Avrin, the Dragons Gaze is a stance that focuses on the surroundings around its user. Nothing escapes it. Its as if everything is right infront of you even when it is behind you.”

Avrin was indeed interested in learning a technique. He could not just rely on his augmented eyes to detect people. Afterall, he couldnt see the back of his head. “Avrin, this stance is also a precursor to the Dragon’s Wrath. A powerful counter attack. If used right there are some spells that can be sent back to the caster if countered correctly. Being projectiles of course.”

Avrin stood up nodded as he bowed to show respect. He indeed didn’t want to show any disrespect to Shimaru who could definetly teach him a lot.

“Very well then Avrin, we are continuing your training.” Avrin blinked “But teacher, I’ve just finished?” Shimaru only chuckle and grinned evily “What are you talking about...Whatever you have done until now was only a warm up.”

Avrin felt it was dangerous to argue with this man even though he knew where this was going. From that night, the days went on fairly strictly with Avrin training like no tommorow until his body collapsed each time. And when he could move his body again, he was forced to train more.

He felt as if his heart would stop at any moment, and it was so intense that it made him want to vomit. It seemed training fatigue was less here, which was a bonus, but not enough to help significantly. Ayame had also recovered and demanded a rematch with Avrin. There were several times where she was indeed aiming to try and secretly attack him while he was training, but Izanami was tasked with taking her back.

Avrin of course, knew this would happen and could only laugh a bit everytime this occured. He knew that sooner or later he would have to fight Ayame. Shimaru also seemed to enjoy himself. Occasionally he would leave to tend to his duties as well as deal with issues, leaving Avrin to train by himself, but when he returned he made sure Avrin worked twice as hard.

Avrin felt his training regime was more fluid until it became second nature. He didn’t have trouble finding things to do, it was like an endless clock. He moved from one thing to another. Avrin also didn’t forget to use the Pulsing Dragon. Shimaru did his best to be around when Avrin had done so.

It seemed with each time Avrin entered the Pulsing Dragon, the time he could sustain it increased by 5 minutes, and his aura became sharper and more stable. Like a silent fire that gently fluttered in the wind. But it was far from complete.

Shimaru had also told Avrin regarding times his clan had fought the demons. It turns out Shimaru’s great great great grandfather had been the son to the clan leader at that time. There were several demons that tried to kill him at the same time but he had used a technique and in a near instant killed them all.

Avrin wondered if there were other individuals as strong as these people, and if they were compareable to sigil wielders. Of course Shimaru replied by telling him that sigil wielders, no matter what, were capable of monsterous abilities that rivaled dragons. Even if it meant there bodies themselves weren’t trained as much as Shimaru, they would still be a force to be reckoned with.

Also, over the course of the training, Avrin felt his mind ease up. As if he had forgotten the outside world. There had been several times where he had even forgotten he was in a different universe altogether. The famillar feeling brought a smile to his face.

He had also managed to build a relation with Shimaru as well as the others. Although Avrin hadn’t returned to the main house in nearly 6 weeks after beggining his training in the open, he was told to live in the outdoors and get used to the environment as well as the sounds.

Avrin, who felt like there was a reason, didn’t hesitate to accept. Life went on quite hard but well for Avrin. Meanwhile in the demon capital of Yasha, a large castle like building adorned with what seemed like black jade and other imposing materials that would make one think of an omen just by looking at it, seemed to be heavily guarded.

Inside this building was the thousand demon hall. A near pitch black hallway that spanned several hundred meters to the sides, showing no visibility with only the pillars bieng revealed with what seemed like torched emiting a sort of mana fire.

At the end of the hallway was a large throne adorned with gold and expensive jewels as well as several skulls from what seemed like many species. There were even several skulls that emitted a sort of divine feeling. One would know those skulls belonged to angels.

On this throne was a female wearing a dress that had its bottom section open, revealing her perfectly shaped thighs. The dress itself consisted of a few shades of red, black, and purple. As one looked up they could see this female also had a fairly large bust, but if they looked up more they would see she looked quite uniquely attractive. But also terryfing. She had large horns sticking out of the side of her head as well as elven like ears that were pointed. Her face showed a terryfying smile and her eyes narrowed as she gazed at an object. Her hair was quite long and was a deep crimson red.

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

The object she had been gazing at was what seemed like a book that was open. The book itself gave off a terryfing aura and seemed to be detailed and made quite well. But what the book showed was even more interesting. As if showing a hologram.

It revealed Avrin during his fight with Syrana and his appearance as well as somehow managed to transmit some of his aura/dark matter. The book was the Void grimoire. One of the great sigil weapons that had many unique magics. And its user was none other then the Demon queen Driada. Whos eyes were fixed on the creature that was Avrin. She spoke in a soothing yet sharp voice “It’s a shame I cant enter the sylph lands. I would of liked to have gotten that man..” She licked her lips showing a smirk “That aura is truly different to what I have ever seen before” She gazed at the synthetic dark matter that void seemed to have made. It was only small fragments.

“I’ve never heard of a case where void was not able to fully reproduce energy” She gazed with interest and as she touched the dark matter. It ate away at her finger causing her to clench her teeth and pull her hand back to which a voice replied. “My queen! Are you all right!!?”

Driada chuckled and smiled “It’s fine“ She spoke as the wound began to heal. “This is terryfing. An energy that devours...I do not think that Myra would allow Syrana to kill this individual so easily… I must have him and I must have his ability...Herutus, take three of your trusted men with you and go to the Sylph lands. Find anything you can about him. I will allow you to take a fragment of void to help you track him.”

The man that had called out revealed himself as he knelt down. He wore a thin plate of dark steel armor that covered his body. Even his head had a makeshift helmet, with his back also revealing a cloak that showed the demon empire symbol and colors. “Yes my queen..”

Without hesitation, he vanished to accomplish his task. Even though he knew it could take decades to track this man down, failure was not an option, as the demon queen was not forgiving.

Driada continued to watch the event on replay with a smile on her face “Oh how he reminds me of him…”

Seleria itself had gone on without issue over the course of this time where there were events of powerful individuals appearing in Gaia academy as well as the human king leo who held many events to try and win favor with this individuals, even though he was much stronger.

Little did anyone know that an individual would soon come to shake the foundations of not only Gaia academy, but the entire world of Seleria itself, in good time.

2 years had passed since Avrin begun training. To him, the first few months were like an endless cycle of hell where he was barely allowed to rest. Even his own body had trouble keeping things in check. But after a certain amount of time training, his body developed significantly quicker. He had developed his stamina as well as the efficiency of his muscles.

He had even developed more abilities in secret, and managed to improve his energy and power overall. Avrin was seated on one of the few rocks sticking out of the lake in Pulsing Dragon position. His aura had showed but it seemed like it froze in midair. The appearance was more clear, it had a sort of cosmic feeling to it.

As if when one looked at it, they could see the stars and space inside of it. A mysterious aura that seemed to be frozen in time. Avrin’s appearance hadn’t changed at all, other then his body seeming more toned, it seemed like being a Spectral had its positives.

As his eyes opened from completing his Pulsing Dragon, his eyes emited a purple glow to which the aura burst forth from his body emiting a shockwave that caused the large lake to rumble before the energy retracted back inside of him.

A voice called out. It was from a young boy who came towards Avrin after the event had ended. “Big brother, grandfather has asked you to return to the dojo” The voice sounded a bit more mature then the previous years. It was none other than Amias, who wore his own shinobi gear. With a smile, he looked at Avrin who was now standing up. “Very well.. I’ll be there soon” Avrin’s body seemed to glow a deep purple for a moment, as if it flashed like a camera going off before he vanished and reappeared on the shoreline. His speed in general wasn’t as fast as that, but it was a technique he developed imbuing his power into the White Dragon’s skills. It was called Shadow Step.

He developed this ability on his first year, although there were mishaps such as him appearing in midair and falling, it consisted of him using his outer and internal energy to pull himself across the mana in the air. Although what really happened was his body was converted to dark matter in a near instant and reformed at the position he wanted.

He had practiced with many inatimate objects and even with animals such as fish or a squirrel like creature with failure and success. Sometimes the objects or animals wouldn’t reform and were devoured completely. He worried he may devour himself but after practicing and training he felt he had done well enough to not worry about it.

Avrin began to make his way toward the dojo. His appearance was that of shinobi like training pants, but he kept his tight shirt on. “I wonder what he needs from me. It’s the first time in 2 years that I’ve passed through this section” Avrin spoke, somewhat excited, even though he didnt show it.

Avrin then blinked as he looked around and smirked. He entered a stance that resembeled the Dragon’s Gaze but the difference was that dark matter slowly emited around him. He kept silent. That was until several objects like kunais were thrown towards him.

His body seemed to distort slightly as the objects seemed to vanish from one side and repappear on the other. This technique was known as Shadow Dragon’s Gaze. A name fitting as it incorperated Dragon’s Gaze and Shadow Step into a stance and a near perfect defence.

“Would you believe that 2 years ago...You would have the coruage to face me head on, but now it seems like your sticking to your clans teachings and sticking to hiding” Avrin spoke out in a snicker.

To which a blue streak made its way toward him before reappearing above him. It was none other then Ayame, who seemed quite pissed off as her signature vein appeared on her forhead. She kicked her leg towards Avrin. “Die bastard!!!!!!!”

Avrin shut his eyes before shifting and turning his body in a slight spin. He had swepped over to the Dragon’s Gaze stance and, as if it was second nature to him, avoided her kick. But at the same time elegantly dodged and hit his left palm towards her hip. A large thump sound was heard as the force of the attack was not as strong as he made it to be due to not wanting to severly injure her, but it was enough to send a small shockwave towards the tree line.

Ayame screamed out and gasped as she was thrown several feet and rolled before clutching her hip. “N..No fair….Grandfather trained you...It’s not fair that you’re stronger!!”

Avrin felt a bit of pity for her, and decided to cheer her up. He walked over and smiled as he leaned down and tried to sound as if appealing to her. “Ayame, I want to thank you...If it wasn’t for the duel years ago, I would never have had the confidence to continue..It’s only because I looked up to you that I wanted to continue and work so hard.”

Ayame’s face lit up a deep red before she kept silent. As if steam was about to leave her ears “W..W..W.W..Wha..Wha?” She was indeed speechless as  she was not used to these words. She covered her face before standing up forgetting about her injury and heading off somewhat giggling to herself.

Avrin shook his head after realising it was all clear “Simple minded girl...But It’s fine” He chuckled to himself before heading towards Shimaru’s dojo. He hadn’t seen him for nearly 3 weeks, so he was eager to meet him again.

The servants also greeted Avrin as he entered the dojo grounds and pressed his hand againt the door. He spoke “Teacher, I’ve arrived…” Before opening the sliding door. His eyes widened at the sight as a vein appeared on his forhead before he managed to keep his composure. But his muscles pulsed in his body as if they were going to burst forth from anger, but he let out a fake smile.

“Ahh Avrin It’s good you are here.. I would like to introduce you to the Sylph that helped our clan all those years back. She is one of the two leaders of the Sylph race. Her name is Myra”

Myra who was sitting a few feet away from Shimaru turned and blinked as she gazed at Avrin before giving the slyest grin one would ever come to realise.
