Right at the village's entrance is where everyone met up to say goodbye to the islanders. Eagerly, Aru and Auros stared at their White haired friend, but were quickly disappointed.
"...What?" Meil stared back blankly, "Is there something on my face?"
"Sigh, forget it." Aru shook her head as Nelly let out a sigh of relief, "Then, let's get you all back home."
"Wait, before that!" Showa hopped off Auros' back to thank everyone again, "Nelly, please do come visit us again. Bring your family as well, you don't have to worry about the old man anymore."
"We'll try our best to come over once in a while." Lune replied for her.
"And those three?" Cecily asked sheepishly, "Are they...?"
"If you're asking if they're fine, then the answer is obvious already." Showa explained, "They're still shaken up. Shillianna couldn't stop crying, so the other two had to stay awake to calm her down. At least that's what Schocco told me."
"Geez, hopefully she'll understand with time that life goes on." Cecily nodded, "But to think you guys already made this much headway with all the boulders around the island!"
"Guess the Schnells really know how to work for their money." Ed chuckled.
"Money?" Showa tilted her head.
"Ha-ha! Alright, let's not teach the innocent folk the dark secrets of capitalism now, Eddie-boy!" Lune hurriedly shut him up, "Then, shall we get going, everyone?"
"We'll be going north to Cardina's dock." Auros explained the roadmap, "After that, next stop is Simpleton."
"Hey, what about us?" The Generals voiced their concerns.
"You guys get to enjoy the ride with us, of course!" Aru giggled on top of Auros' shoulder, "Muahahaha! Rejoice!"
"Rejoice..." They whimpered back.
Thus, the heroes bid farewell to Showa and wished her luck with taking care of the island in Olya's place. Though she wouldn't be taking on the role of village elder, she is still a very dependable individual capable of helping lift the other villagers in Olya's absence. With a strong first step towards the vast ocean, Auros had set off back to Cardina, carrying everyone on his back.

"That's our stop." Issei notified everyone as their group hopped off of the Fighting God's shoulders, "Man, I can't wait to see my lovely wives again~!"
"You mean your exes?" Anna teased, "Remember, I've still got some dirt on you."
"They'll trust my testimony over yours!" He fought back, "I'm sure of it, our love will prevail!"
"Heh, sure it will." Ed thought to high five all the Generals, Lem, Meil and Lee, "Catch you guys later."
"Uncle?" Nelly looked at him before getting her hair ruffled.
"Nelly, word of advice from your unc." He whispered, "Don't go falling for that brat."
"I-I won't!" She shot back awkwardly.
"Hey, I know you said something bad just now!" Lem interjected, "Quit ruining my chances!"
"I didn't say anything~" Ed feigned innocence before hopping off, "Everyone, it's been a pleasure. Stop by Cardina City later to check out our new house!"
"Ooh! I got a new house too!" Issei tacked on tactlessly, "And mine's way bigger!"
"Size isn't everything, mine has better features!" Ed retorted.
"Urk, well... Mine makes two women happy, yours only makes one!" Issei ended the easily misunderstood argument with a seemingly unbeatable answer.
Helping Anna gracefully fall into his arms once she dived off of Auros' shoulders as well, Ed made sure she was unhurt before they went to go find a transport wagon willing to take them home. Lune and Cecily both hugged Nelly tightly.
"Don't cause too much trouble for Meil." Cecily sternly warned.
"Ugh, mama... I won't." She giggled.
"Lee, Lem." They turned to them, "Thanks for your help. Meil, you've been an indispensable friend since we first met."
"Nah, I was gonna help my lovestruck son anyways." Lee chuckled, "I just figured, hey, I'm already here aren't I?"
"And I too am here to rid my wrongs." Meil looked down, "I am sorry for not being there for her when Nelly most needed me."
"Meil..." They gave him a hug, "It's alright. What's important is that you helped her now."
Together, the couple then turned to their old General friends. The air around them was warm and bubbly, as was to be expected, since there was never any drama between them. They last saw each other off on good terms, and they met back up on good terms.
"That being said..." Aaron hugged them both with a bit of a forceful vigor, "Not inviting us to the wedding? What the hell, we're the main reason you guys are even together!"
"Hey, be more careful!" Lune worried.
"Huh? Ohhh~!" Aaron donned a smug smirk, "Alright then, all is forgiven."
"Aaron?" Max confusedly looked on.
"Hey, be sure to call us over later." Aaron winked, "I never did get to meet the kids in full."
"Aaron..." Cecily blushed, realizing they already got found out by someone.
"We'll do just that." Lune hugged her, picking her up into a princess carry before jumping right on down to the dock, "Everyone, bye-bye!"
"Bye~!"

"We're back~!" Lune Materialized a megaphone to loudly announce to all the neighborhood's residents, "With a rousing success!"
"Ed!" The Saints rushed out of the house in tears, "We're so sorry! Anna, she left in the middle of the nigh-!"
"Hello." The girl they were worrying about waved at them next to their son.
"You idiot girl!" They immediately attacked her like a pack of dogs, "Making your in-laws worry so much! We thought you left our son! Or worse!"

"Wahh~, I'm sorry!" She struggled to defend herself, "I was worried about Ed, so I followed after him!"
"It's alright, I told her to come with." Ed took the bullet for her, "Guess it's both our faults for forgetting to tell you. Sorry, mom and dad."
"...Sigh, what are we to do with you." They gave up.
"Hey, where's the little guy?" Lune looked around before the doors to Issei's house slammed open.
Out of the door ran out a young boy with light Brown hair and a fashionable Gray Iro. It seems while they were away, Cene had up and Converted from all the storytelling he's been doing with his doll friends.
"We..." Cecily and Lune sulked, "We missed it..."
"Mom! Dad!" He ran up to them before darting his Eyes at everyone, "Where's sis!?"
"Cene, get back here!" A very tired Othelia and Eleanor lagged behind him, panting tiredly with huge bags under their Eyes, "Phew, oh, you guys are back finally."
"Nelly..." Issei looked seriously at the little boy before looking up at his two wives.
"Oh no...!" They gasped.
"What the hell are you insinuating!?" Cecily smacked the crap out of him, "She's fine! They went back to Simpleton safe and sound!"
"Dammit, Issei!" The two girls berated him, "What the hell kind of horrible prank is that!?"
"Ehe, sorry, sorry! It would've flown over Cene's head, but I just really wanted to see your two's reaction after seeing you so dead tired." Issei explained, "Yeah, everyone's safe and sound. Mission accomplished! Full clear!"
As everyone entered Issei's house to enjoy a well-deserved serving of tea, they talked about their respective experiences, what with babysitting Cene and taking on Olya. Somehow, the girls made the babysitting sound more undesirable than fighting an immortal maniac. They talked for hours, and as the clock struck 10, it seemed both Ed and Lune had exciting news they couldn't wait to share.
"I'd like to announce something!" Lune raised his glass with a proud smirk on his face.
"Eh? Wait, me first." Ed got up as well.
"Dude, what the hell do you have to say?" Lune groaned, "This is actually important, wait a bit."
"Hell no! Grim, stop ruining the moment."
"I wanted to announce my news first!" Lune got up in his face.
"Sucks to suck." Ed pushed back with his forehead, "Be the better man and just wait a few seconds, it's not that hard!"
"Grrr...!"
"Grrrrrr...!!"
"You two!" Cecily stopped them.
"Just say it at the same time, then, geez." Anna giggled.
"Mn... Fine!" They both backed off, "You ready?"
"Three, two, one..." Issei gave them the countdown.
"Anna's/Cecily's pregnant!" They shouted in unison, trying to drown out the other's news with their own, without realizing it only amplified the sound, "Whuh!? She is!? I-I mean, congratulations! You're the man, Ed/Grim!"
With a magnificent bro hug, these two immediately put their petty dispute aside in favor of celebrating. Though they were supposed to go to bed around this time, corks instead flew all over the place as the adults enjoyed some good ol' alcohol. Cene was worried about not being the youngest anymore, but he did remember to properly congratulate his auntie and uncle.

At around this time in Simpleton, the Auros Express had arrived on their shores, once gain making a brief pause to let Meil and the other say goodbye to the Generals before setting off for Great Hiana. Tiredly, the four sat in their transport wagon to go back home.
"Ah. Did..." Meil recalled, turning to ask Lee, "Did we ever fix my house?"
"Crap, that's right! Olya destroyed it when he fought Lem!" Nelly panicked, "Where will we be sleeping for the night?"
"My bed is always open, princess." Lem didn't even hesitate.
"Hmph. If you're inviting me, you're inviting Meil as well." She pouted.
"Great, wouldn't have it any other way." He smirked impishly.
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" She worried, "Lem, what do you mean!?"
"Not to ruin your... fantasies, son, but I had Kevin contact a repairman to fix their foyer before we left." Lee ruffled his hair, "The house should be good as new."
"Oh good." Meil then realized, "Wait, this is Kevin we are talking about."
"Oh God, we're so sleeping over at Lem's place..." Nelly already surmised from that.
Indeed, making it back to their homes led to a bittersweet sight. The house did actually have signs of improvement from the last time they saw it. In other words, Kevin did call the repairman, but he procrastinated doing it until very late into the process. It's more realistic to believe that Kiria forced him to after she found out herself.
"Then, come on in." Lee saw the two standing anxiously in front of his house, "...We have guest bedrooms."
"O-Okay." Nelly finally obliged.
As Meil and Lee reminisced about the good old days in prison downstairs, Nelly and Lem were upstairs, talking on the balcony.
"That's not how it works, though!" Nelly wouldn't give, "Just cause you saved my life, you expect me to fall head over heels for you, huh? Wrap my arms around you, kiss you and say "Oh me oh my, thank you for that~!"? Well, wake up, dumbass, life isn't a fairy tale!"
"I mean, I'll take just the kiss if wrapping your arms around me is too much." He shrugged.
"Shut up, go to bed." She was about to go back to her room, when she felt his hand grab her own, "What now?"
"I'd like to request an extension of our trial period." He said with 100% sincerity, "Please, this isn't me joking."
"...A week." She replied, still not turning her head to look at him.
"Three weeks." He haggled.
"...Two, and this is me being generous." Her ears turned Red.
"Three weeks, I'm not taking any less than this." He stood his ground.
"Geez." She slumped defeatedly, "Okay, we'll reinstate the dating plan for another three weeks. But don't get too ahead of yourself, this is still just a trial period!"
And so, on this night, the two became lovers once more... for a time. But these next few weeks will prove quite fruitful for their relationship, I assume. Ah, how do I know that? Cheh, read it in a Book once!
